It's was ok, would recommend a visit in winter but in summer I would stay away unless you like sweltering heat. Some of the rooms are in the converted loft space and got ridiculously hot. Even at 2am there was simply no way to cool the room down as the walls themselves were still physically hot.

Okay, this review is about Sunday Carvery. Pretty good roast with all the trimmings at a set price. Okay for the money. Disappointed with the pudding, overpriced with small portions. My mum wanted cheese cake with a scoop of ice-cream. She got charged for x 2 puddings 🫣 which arrived in two bowls. A slice of cheese cake 45mm wide 35 mm thick and about 70 mm long, a kids portion at best... Ice cream was a single scoop.😯 And charged for x2 puddings. I didn't want to make a deal about as I didn't want to spoil the experience and meal for the other 8 of us. Service was good and I did leave cash tip on top of service charge, so not all bad. I won't be having pudding if and when i eat here again.
Working away from home a lot, it’s always nice to find somewhere good to stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great. The best part about the hotel is the staff though in my opinion. From the warm welcome at reception to the service at the bar and in the restaurant the staff were fantastic. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.
We stayed on valentines night and the people were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing the dinner and breakfast. Only thing was location as we like to go for walks. However we did walk from pulbrough train station to the round about hotel. We really enjoyed that but not a lot of pavement. All round great weekend thank you roundabout hotel
The Roundabout started doing a carvery on a Sunday in November and are now doing it on a Wednesday too. It is truly excellent. I went with a group of friends and the staff were very considerate of some of the group who are disabled and generally very helpful. We have been to a few local pubs as a group but this knocked spots off everywhere else. The food was fresh, hot, beautifully cooked, really tasty and the meat was tender. It was great to have real roast potatoes rather than fried ones! A wide range of veg, not just the easiest. Great roast parsnips and mashed swede with sweet potato I think. And there was stuffing, which other venues have told me there is no demand for. And it was all at an affordable price for those on a limited budget. We will definitely go again!
