The New England

Perfect location for everywhere in Eastbourne. Owner is so welcoming and friendly. Alex and the rest of the team are also really lovely and go out of their way to look after guests. The breakfasts are wonderful with a great selection and all cooked fresh. The dining and lounge/bar areas are really relaxing and comfy. We stayed in a nice comfortable twin room. The shower was great.

Let's start with the one and only negative point. Room 8 is a bit on the small side & not easiest to get into bed that side. However, everything else more than makes up for it. The breakfast is fantastic. Best fruit juice, great coffee, service with a smile and options for the vegetarians and Vegans amongst us. Nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to returning

I stayed for one night while passing Eastbourne for business. I picked the right hotel! I was met at reception by the landlady who showed me my balcony room. It was immaculate and had a really personal touch. There was a view from my balcony out to sea. Lovely. Breakfast was included and was really good. There were families from all over Europe staying and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff. This is my favourite hotel now.

My husband, daughter and our friend stayed a weekend at The New England and can't praise Audrey and her excellent service enough. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and the breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel. You can be sure, that we will be back soon. Thank you so much for that!
