Our stay at The Lamb was lovely a very friendly welcome, a beautiful spacious room with nice fresh decor. Plenty tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were so helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Met the proprietor and took the time to stop and chat several times during our stay. We were attending the Goodwood festival of speed and a perfect location a 20 min drive. Had dinner and a breakfast both lovely plenty of choice for breakfast and freshly cooked. We will certainly be returning and recommending The Lamb and the village to friends and family.
A very charming pub in a lovely location. The staff were exceptionally attentive throughout our stay, always on hand to help with anything we needed and very informative.
The room was comfortable and well presented, with beautifully soft, freshly scented bedding. The mattress was also excellent and ensured a great night’s sleep.
Breakfast was outstanding — genuinely knockout. Everything tasted fresh, with high-quality local ingredients cooked to perfection.
We stayed at the Lamb last night, The staff we're amazingly friendly and we felt instantly welcome. We were shown or room which was bright , warm & with a very clean, modern bathroom. When we we returned later that night I had a couple of drinks in the bar served by a very nice young lady that made us feel at ease after a hard long day at a funeral. The full English Breakfast is worth the money and the service couldn't have been better. Would gladly recommend it to friends and family.
4 of us went to The Lamb for Sunday lunch and were so glad we did. We all had the roasts and they were exceptional. Service was welcoming and friendly, as was the pub. Lovely atmosphere but not over busy. The car park was full but it was easy to park nearby on the street. I would definitely recommend this location and will visit again.
We are regulars at the lamb in Angmering and decided to hire the venue for my daughter‘s wedding as she wanted a very small intimate occasion. We had just 40 guests.
After a beautiful candlelight ceremony in Arundel Town Hall. We then moved onto the lamb in Angmering for a candlelight supper. As per usual the staff excelled themselves from the Manager to the chef, to all the waiting staff, a real credit to the Newbon family, they were absolutely fantastic. The staff went above and beyond and decorated the room beautifully. They served absolutely wonderful food and made the whole evening memorable. It was so relaxed. The rooms were impeccable the breakfast was exquisite.
I couldn’t recommend more highly.
