Great hotel to stay in. I took the standard double room; the location was around 20 minutes walk to the beach (however didn't really feel like a 20 minute walk as the high street was busy, so much to observe). The room was clean and tidy; offering tea/coffee facility; the bed was standard double, very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't very big neither was it too small. What really stood out was the approach of every staff member we came across (from reception staff to the housekeeping staff, even though we casually came across in the lift and hallway); all the staff members were extremely friendly, welcoming and approachable (always smiled at you and tried to casually talk).

I had a fairly average experience at Leonardo Hotel Brighton – Brighton City Centre. The hotel has a convenient location, making it easy to get around Brighton and reach nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and the check-in process was reasonably straightforward. The room was comfortable enough for a short stay and had the basic facilities I needed. However, I felt that some areas could use a little more attention and improvement. The room and overall facilities were fine, but they did not particularly stand out compared with other hotels in the same price range. The atmosphere was generally pleasant, although there were a few minor things that could have been better during my stay. I also think the service could be a little more consistent, especially when it comes to responding quickly to guest requests. Overall, I would describe my experience as okay rather than exceptional. The convenient location and friendly staff were definite positives, while some aspects of the room and service could be improved. With a few updates and more consistent attention to detail, the hotel could provide a stronger experience for guests. For a short visit to Brighton, it is a reasonable option, but I would personally consider a few alternatives before booking again.
Had a one night stay here, reasonably priced at £85pn. There is no carparking, but the train station carpark opposite has 500+ spaces and there were plenty free when we arrived. Parking was £17.50 for the 24 hours, so pretty high for an unsecured carpark. Rooms were spacious and clean, ours fronted onto the station, however you could hardly hear the trains, the room was very quiet. Would recommend for a short stay.
Absolutely a lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable all throughout from where I have walked. Breakfast and dinner lovely and enough choice for me. The staff are excellent that I have communicated with. If you can't have dairy, there is alternatives. I slept well while here. Bed really comfortable.
For the price we paid and considering this is a 4-star hotel, the experience was very underwhelming. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived, with small body hairs in the shower, on the floor, and on the sink, which was quite off-putting. The room was also not serviced until I specifically requested it at around 3pm, despite seeing the housekeeping trolley in the corridor both in the morning and just before 12pm. I ended up making the bed myself and cleaning the cups we had used. When I mentioned this at reception, the lady at the counter didn’t apologise and said room servicing was an additional service. This was surprising, as even most bed and breakfasts service your room as standard, so it’s difficult to understand why this wouldn’t be included in a 4-star hotel. The facilities themselves were good, but very overcrowded, especially the sauna. The swimming pool, however, was enjoyable. Overall, it didn’t feel like good value for money, and unfortunately I wouldn’t return. For the same price, there are much nicer and more attentive hotels or B&Bs available.
