Canyoning Tour Gerês

Our Canyoning-Tour was wonderful and THE highlight of our 2 week roadtrip through Portugal. The nature was absolutely spectacular, and our route an excellent place for Canyoning. Carlos and Alfonso did a wonderful job of guiding the group and helping us on the more difficult parts of the tour. Our kids (10 and 14) could not get enough of climbing and jumping. Carlos also took really good pictures and shared them right after the tour. Thank you for this awesome experience!

Incredible experience! We all absolutely loved it. So well organised and run. Carlos was clearly very experienced, which put us all at ease. He was fantastic with the kids, especially my eldest who was very anxious and nervous of the abseiling at times. Carlos was patient and kind, and my son ended up doing far more than I'd anticipated as a result. Gave him so much confidence, it was really wonderful to see. Highly recommend!

I went there with our 12-year old son, and this turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. The activity is set in a beautiful surrounding in the midst of a granite canyon, with small and bigger waterfalls and puddles to explore. It's a very family-friendly tour, with two experienced and emphatic guides who maintain the perfect balance between safety, fun and time to enjoy the water and environment. Everything is explained very carefully, you are always encouraged to try, but never feel forced to do anything you're not feeling comfortable with. The descent is very relaxed, and never feels rushed. There is always time to take a jump a second or third time, or to simply float around in the water or have a chat. They are great with kids, fooling around, exploring caves, all while keeping an eye out and ensuring they stay safe. At the end you get A LOT of high quality pictures and videos documenting your trip. If you're a little bit adventurous I would highly recommend this tour while in Peneda-Geres.

As a family with two children aged 9 and 12, we absolutely loved our first canyoning adventure! Carlos is a true professional — we felt completely safe and well-guided throughout the entire trip. One of the best parts was the flexibility; there was always a Plan B for anyone who wasn’t comfortable with a jump, which made it enjoyable for all of us. We had a fantastic time exploring nature — swimming in crystal-clear natural pools, hiking through stunning landscapes, and soaking in the beauty all around. Even the small touches, like the tasty energy bar, made a difference. And receiving all the trip photos afterward? That was the cherry on top — amazing memories captured forever. Don’t hesitate to book with Carlos — you won’t regret it!

We had an amazing time! There were five of us and while some were more uncertain and insecure than others, everyone had a great time. Carlos ensures that it's a fun experience for all skill levels. You can always say if you don't want to do something or don't feel comfortable. They also don’t make it feel rushed. There is plenty of time for people to do some jumps a second or third time, to just float around in your wetsuit or swim around with the goggles they brought. Not only are they very skilled and make you feel safe, they are also incredibly nice and fun guys with a great sense of humor. The experience is definitely worth it and I would recommend it to everyone!

I highly recommend this certified company for canyoning in Gerês, for all levels of experience. They make sure everyone feels safe and allow plenty of time for alternative options if necessary. The guides are very professional and empathic, and also excellent photographers! Everyone gets plenty of photos to share with friends and to remember the experience. The equipment is also very good quality and updated.

We went on the canyoning trip with our two girls aged 11 and 13, and had an absolute blast. The park is so beautiful, and then to experience it in this way, rappelling down waterfalls, jumping into pristine pools and clambering over boulders. It was fantastic. We all did things we hadn’t done before and will have wonderful memories to keep. Carlos was a great guide, very attentive and professional, giving us freedom and support in just the right doses, and the equipment was of a high standard. Thank you Carlos for a wonderful time!

What a wonderful time!!! Gorgeous view, fantastic waterfalls, great vibes and a lot of fun…. Not mentioning the water is much warmer than the ocean in Lisbon!!! 😂😂😂. Carlos is very professional and extra kind. The tour last more than 5 hours as he gave extra time to our kids to repeat the jumps several time! Highly recommended to spend a great time in the region!

Excellent experience to go on a canyoning tour with them. Great professional equipment, very experienced, safe, fun and crazy guides. They take you through a beautiful canyon with some adrenaline-packed descents and jumps. For those less adventurous, every jump or descent can also be avoided by walking down. Highly recommended!!!

We went on a 4 hr canyoning trip with Carlos. It was absolutely fantastic. Carlos was friendly, trustworthy, and encouraging. The route is beautiful, with a perfect mixture of jumping, climbing, and abseiling. It was certainly a workout, but doable for most fitness levels. The scenery is beautiful. Great, adrenaline filled way to visit Gerês. Thank you Carlos!

Super experience - we were 2 adults and two teenagers of 14 years and 17 years away. Nice and exciting trip with lots of challenges. Carlos and Alfonso were our guides and they were very helpful and professional, which also made the trip fantastic.

Great experience in the mountains; we went down the river on a route through the river that got our adrenaline pumping while we felt very safe. The guides are the best, speaking several languages, absolute pros! 100% recommended

Very nice experience! Small scale, with a friendly guide who pays close attention to safety. One of us had a slight fear of heights, which was well taken into account without patronizing. Highly recommended!

A very well spent morning with the great Diogo and Carlos! Worth every penny! It was undoubtedly an experience that marked us.

Unfortunately, everything went wrong with me and my boyfriend. We arrived at the scheduled time and said to bring the car because we were going to the arado river which is where the activity is carried out. When we arrived my boyfriend left the car to make the payment (indicated in the e-mail that was made before the start of the activity). I stayed in the car and received a call informing that they were a little further ahead and was to follow the cars, get out of the car to call him and when we returned (it was not even 1 minute from the car) they had already left. We advanced and called and said that we were left behind but to climb up to the waterfall of the arado river. We go up and when we arrive or turn to the right for hermitage or for the waterfall of the arado (beaten land). We called because we didn't see anyone (little network and we couldn't get the indications). We chose to turn toward the hit land in the direction of the waterfall. We didn't have a network and we didn't see anyone from Enterprise lobo tours, we got out of the car, we explored a little around and nothing. We turned back and when we were networked, we received a call from the Enterprise, asking where we were and protesting with us that from the beginning was destroyed and there was no one in the car when they left (why did they leave without our car?!). He stated that he was watching us and that he struck us when we got wrong on the way because they turned to a place with tar to dress. My girlfriend rose to the phone because we were still listening because we were lost and did not enjoy the activity, being the 1st time we did it and we did not know the geresian. We regret not having done the activity, we left sad and upset with the situation and we regret even more the care and organization of the Enterprise for us. We do not recommend or intend to do any other activity with them, not because they are bad (and we did not even have the opportunity to know) but by the way they proceeded with us being new to the area and knowing soon that we did not know the place.
