Beautiful place and accommodation. Plenty of parking. Restaurant serves a huge range of some Portuguese food.

Disappointing stay – damp, moldy, and unhealthy room We stayed one night in this hotel, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The room had a strong musty smell, and we noticed mold on the ceiling and walls. The next morning we both woke up with irritated lungs and an itchy cough, clearly not a healthy environment to sleep in. There was also condensation trapped between the window panes, which made the room feel even more damp. When we mentioned this to the hotel manager, our concerns were laughed off and dismissed with the claim that “it’s not mold.” We felt completely unheard and not taken seriously. Breakfast was also a bit underwhelming, the coffee machine only made moccachinos. The hotel building itself has some character, but that doesn’t make up for the poor air quality and lack of care. If you value your health, I would strongly recommend booking somewhere else.

Never book a room here!! There’s mold in the rooms — we both got sick from it, with respiratory issues and lung pain the next day. Visible mold on the ceiling and walls and condensation inside the windows. When we reported it to the reception, the man just laughed it off and said it was normal for the rooms because of the air conditioning (which wasn’t even on, since it’s the end of October).

Absolutely fantastic. Loved everything, lovely room, a cosy bar, an attractive swimming pool and terrace, amazing artworks all around the property, fabulous breakfasts, brilliant location, best of all, the staff. They were friendly, efficient, and very helpful.
