The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. For a 4-star hotel, the overall standard was far below what we expected. The cleanliness of the room was particularly disappointing. The curtains were covered in what appeared to be black dust. As it was very hot during our stay and we are not fans of air conditioning, we decided to remove the duvet from its cover. What we found was genuinely disgusting: the duvet itself was covered in numerous yellow and other-coloured stains. This is simply unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The bathroom was also poorly designed. They still use a shower curtain, despite the bath/shower area being so narrow that it is difficult to stand comfortably. The curtain inevitably touches your body while showering, which is extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. The bathroom fixtures were not much better. The hooks were practically unusable because the heavy bath towel kept falling off. This was a Superior Double Room, yet there appeared to be inadequate and poorly positioned towel storage for even one person. The hook for the hand towel was attached directly above the soap dispenser, which is a very strange and inconvenient position. Moving it just slightly higher would have made much more sense. There was also no minibar or even a small refrigerator in the room, which we found surprising for a hotel of this category. The issues with cleanliness, bathroom design, room facilities and general maintenance significantly affected our experience. answer to hotel: Thank you for reaching out. I was a genuine guest at the hotel, and my review was based on my personal experience during my stay. All of the issues described in my review are supported by the attached photographs, which were taken by me at the hotel during my stay in August 2026. This was therefore not a set of unfounded or general allegations from someone who never stayed at the hotel.

So here is my run down of this hotel. Location isn't anything amazing and the hotel from the outside doesn't look the greatest but inside is very nicely decorated. We were upgraded for free which was nice. The room was nice and clean. Bit annoying that the noise coming from the wedding all day spoiled the visit for us. We were located two floors above where the music was blaring. We could hear it until half 10 at night in which I put earplugs in and went to sleep. So yeah for how much you pay a night you dont think your going to be listening to a racket all night. I get it that it was a wedding but if we knew this before we would of gone to another hotel. Another flaw with our hotel room was the aircon or whatever it is coming out the unit on the wall would only go to 18c and it is also stuck above a wardrobe so you couldn't really feel it tbh. Oh yeah and the remote for the tv was garbage and the door didnt close on its own even though it was suppose to because it was a spring door, we had to keep going back and shutting it properly. The bedroom was well facilitated and the bed was comfy. The breakfast the next morning was nice but it was really annoying that the two people serving in the dining room didnt look happy to be there nor was there any urgency to anything being asked. Both coffee machines went down at the same time and my boyfriend was there waiting 10 minutes whilst they were doing whatever they needed to to sort it out. Didn't get the time to use the spa and I had to pay for parking which is annoying seeing as I was staying there. I feel the experience was just meh.
My son and his beautiful bride had their wedding day on the 1st of August and myself and guests alike were blown away with the venue but the staff were out of this world with the service they provided. They went above and beyond for everyone. The food was excellent also. To be honest I seriously cannot find one fault
Now the room was adequately equipped as to what we paid for it. The staff are incredibly friendly. The Spa and swimming pool were above average for the value. I would also like to thank the Spa treatment team. They know their field well and a treatment from here won’t disappoint. Keep it up!
This hotel is a real gem in the area! Great location: close to the sea but remote enough from the busiest area around the main pier. Lots of food options around for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of parking for guests (there is a fee though). The rooms are lovely and the ground floor area and restaurant are quite impressive. Our only inconvenience was that, despite the fact that we booked weeks in advance, we were checked into a room for disabled people (the bathroom was quite something!) which also happened to be by the lift. The hotel was packed so they couldn’t do anything about it on the day, however moved us to a standard room the next day (after we reminded them in the morning). Wi-fi is intermittent so I wouldn’t rely on it in case you need to for work. They seemed understaffed in the main restaurant downstairs as it took ages for the food to arrive in the evening. We still had a really nice time and this place is definitely one of the best options in the area all things considered.
