The service and staff could not be bettered however as the Guest House was an old Victorian house when the weather is hot the bedroom was unbearable even with the one fan that was provided. If you opened the window the noise of the busy road was disturbing. The en suite was simply a stud wall which was once part of the room so therefore very small and not fit for purpose. The toilet constantly run and sink had an unusable plug. We were reduced to asking for toilet paper as no spares were left in the room. For a 3 night stay we were assigned 2 very small tubes of body wash. The breakfast room was like stepping back in time 30 years. Although the breakfast itself was good. We were amused we were given a front door key, as it was locked most of the time. If you like no frills or a taste of the past, this guest house may suit you, but it was not our 'cup of tea'.

Lovely b and b within good walking distance from the beach. Very comfortable and spacious room with high ceiling. Harps was very efficient and the breakfast was excellent in a very nice dining room. Good parking space in front of building. Would thoroughly recommend this b and b.
Balincourt is a quaint and quiet Guest House, located conveniently to the Town and Seaside. Beautiful kept gardens and the rooms are spacious and lovely decorative and very clean. The Breakfast in the morning was great, plenty to choose from the menu. The staff member Aggie was amazing, with serving us our breakfast every morning and always with a smile. Harps made the English breakfast every morning and it was delicious. Plenty of parking which was great. We had a great time in Bournemouth and especially The Balincourt Guest House, made our stay the best. We definitely recommend to anyone, thinking of visiting Bournemouth, to stay here and we will definitely be returning here in the future. A Big Thank You, to Harps and Ricky and Aggie, for A Wonderful Stay. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We received a very warm welcome and shown to our room - which was lovely. Comfy bed, great bathroom. Such a varied choice of breakfast, definitely something for everyone. We found the location to be great as could easily walk to Boscombe pier (and then along the front to Bournemouth if you wished) or there is a bus stop opp which you could catch the bus to Bournemouth. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely return and recommend.
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this woderful guest house. Harps is very helpful and friendly and cooks a lovely breakfast. Bed was very very comfortable is incredibly quiet and spotlesly clean. Breakfast choice very very good and very tasty. Plenty of parking also. There is a very frequent bus service which runs past guest house to Poole, Christchurch and Bournemouth. First time staying in this guest house and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a wonderful guest house near Bournemouth give Balincourt a go Thank you so much Harps.
