We had a wonderful guide who brought us on lovely quiet roads around the vineyards of the St Emilion near Bordeaux. The electric bikes provided made this a very manageable trip for all our group. We had a fabulous lunch in a local restaurant, and visited a vineyard for a guided tour and wine tasting. Next morning our guide met us at our accommodation and brought our small group of 7 on a walking tour of Bordeaux, stopping occasionally for coffee and treats. Our guide was very attentive and knowledgeable and made both of these trips very relaxed and enjoyable
My husband and I went to Bordeaux to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. One of the highlights of the trip was this bicycle tour with Mika. We were worried about the heat (what a heat wave) but never even noticed it! The trip was so fun - we rode on incredible ebikes through gorgeous scenery- and stopped for a wine tour and pastry! Mika was a pro— so organized, knowledgeable and positive. Highly recommend!
Great tour around area. Mica was a Good host/giude. Fun knowledgeable informative and good exercise. Perfect amount of time. Helpfull.
One of our favourite experiences ever. This is truly the way to see the area. Our guide was fantastic and we had an incredible day cycling through vineyards and stopping at wine farms.
Mikael was charming and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the experience. The biking was vey doable for me - I need a knee replacement and have already had a hip and knee replaced. Very do-able for me. I highly recommend this. Don’t be afraid of mobility issues or fear of electric bikes. Mikael was very helpful. Super tour. A highlight of our trip.
We had a wonderful bike trip and the guide was very knowledgeable. The scenery was beautiful. I had a small accident and the guide was responsive and helped to make things right by escorting us to the medical facility to make sure I was alright. This made my husband and I miss the wine tour, but the guide arranged for us to do the tour after the medical care. The wine tour was great! I would totally recommend this to anyone!
Our guide Mika was excellent really friendly knowledgeable we had a memorable day on the electric bikes through the wineries and at the wine tasting - would highly recommend thank you !
Your journey will start with a very kind guide called Micka at the bottom of Saint Emilion's village which is the beautifulest and most famous vineyards landscape in France. Micka was a very nice and patient guide who loves to share and teach his knowledge to people so it was very instructive to learn all the process of wine making - and testing. Additionally to this Micka told us about all the history of the region while biking at the middle of the bucolic vineyards. I DO RECOMAND THIS TRIP very highly because we spent an amazing time and memories together and we also enjoyed a bike tour in Bordeaux with him the day after which was also fantastic
A different and very nice way to discover Bordeaux and its surroundings, beyond the typical places. The electric bike ride is made very easy and enjoyable, combining history, culture and wine without complications. Mika conveys her passion closely, telling stories that make everything come alive during the tour. In our case, he organized a tailor-made tour for the whole family (there were 9) in the Saint-Émilion area, and it was a total success. Pedaling among vineyards, small paths and arriving in this special town, with its streets full of history, is an experience that is really worthwhile. The wine tasting was one of the most beautiful moments: everything very well organized, without rush, with local products and in an authentic atmosphere. More than just a bike route, it’s a way to take the time, enjoy and discover places you wouldn’t see otherwise. A highly recommended experience if you fancy something different, easy to enjoy and charming.
definitely recommended, cycling completely electric and new, we got a lot of explanation about the area, thanks for the nice day.
Very good time, beautiful landscapes Very friendly guide I highly recommend if you want to have a good time.
We highly recommend this experience: a superb walk interspersed with historical information about the area. We were then visited the beautiful castle of Pinet with a super nice tasting. In short, I highly recommend this afternoon with Mika who is a nice, interesting and passionate guide.
Smooth departure from a castle, we took a 4h ride under the sun and in a good mood thanks to Michael. He is a great guide who adapts to our desires and is very considerate in addition to sharing his knowledge of the region with a smile. After a first break with a breathtaking view of St Emilion, we continued with visits to castles of different styles, which allows to appreciate the diversity of production techniques, types of facilities etc. and discover stories through the tasting of excellent wines. We made a beautiful loop through very well chosen paths, it is quiet and beautiful! Logistics: bikes are comfortable, schedules are respected. We had a great afternoon and Michael is really top!
Beautiful places, real knowledge of the terrain, super good relationship, professional, excursions 100% recomendable with Monsieur Bacchus!
The tour offered through the vineyards of Saint-Emilion was simply beautiful. Monsieur Bacchus explains the peculiarities of the region, the peculiarities of the wines and brings in small anecdotes while you cycle relaxed through the vineyards. The pace of the tour is neither too slow nor too fast and care is taken that everyone can keep up. In between, you will stop for a small wine tasting on a beautiful old farm, where you will learn everything you want to know about Bordeaux wines and also have the opportunity to ask more in-depth questions. But even when questions were asked later - for example at a picnic in an idyllic setting - Monsieur Bacchus always had an informed answer ready. I can recommend this tour 100%: you have fun, explore the region and meet very nice people.
