If you only have time for one tour, this is the one. Lots of history, lots of gorgeous countryside, and , of course, fine wines. Eloise was a wonderful guide!!

Really fun experience! Went to two wineries! Tour guide was so friendly and entertaining :)
Knowledgable guide, chateaux staff were really helpful. Visited two chateaux with different experiences. 6 wines tasted and a small charcuterie board provided. An enjoyable experience
Very pleasant afternoon. Chateau were lovely (one was gorgeous). Wines were good. Nice to have the cheese platter at one of them. Stopping to admire the famous Chateau Margaux was a treat. Guide even fit in a stop at a chocolate shop! She was very nice. Would have been better if she provided more narration during the drive. Maybe some history, information about the grapes, local stories. When asked questions, she did a great job of answering. Would have liked her to share more of her knowledge! Definitely recommend!
We took the 2:00 pm Medoc wine tour . There were a few small groups going out , we were incredibly dory to have Mel as our guide tour director and driver. We were 8 in total and we had a blast. Mel was so knowledgeable and loved sharing the area and winery information with us. She was so personable it made the experience fabulous. The Medoc region and wineries are very special, the tours were very interesting and wine tastings very generous. Don’t miss this opportunity while in Bordeaux!
Great half day tour to the Medoc. Excellent choice of wineries with welcoming hosts. Delicious wine and snacks. Vicki was an excellent guide who was very informative and helpful with tips and advice.
Disappointing wine tasting experience. Only one chateau experience, barely any wine and no variety. We were rushed through the tasting because of the tour guide but the sommelier was good. Couldn’t go into shops at saint-emillion, but Tebo was very informative. I wouldn’t recommend at this price.
Fantastic morning in St Emilion. Vicky made the day, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting was well presented in a stunning setting.
Vicky was amazing, so knowledgable, kind and funny! We had a great time with her. And she drove us home safely through a major rain & hail storm!
Gabriel was great, really nice guy and knowledgeable and he added additional sit stops that were such worthwhile extras on the same paths for more exposure. We enjoyed sitting in the front with him to have even more chats between locations. I even left my phone at the last vineyard and he was so helpful in getting it back. Recommend!!!
Victorie- Vicki was great! We booked this as a couple, last minute! Meeting place was great, drive was nice. Vicki was super engaging- fun, friendly and makes the complexity of the Bordeaux wine area easy to understand- not a small feat! At the end of our time she even provided some local recommendations for dinner which we the used right after the tour for a great dinner! Merci Vicki! Book this If you are looking for not a whole day, a great start to tasting wine in Bordeaux- a start for learning the region, we absolutely recommend!
Humorous and knowledgeable English speaking guide. Our wine guide was also fabulous. All very easy and we had a great group.
While the first and second chateau were beautiful, the first wine itself was not something I enjoyed. The tasting at the third venue was a very young wine, and while good, it was not at a château, but more of a middleman shop. Shipping prices of wanting to purchase were astronomically high.
Very fun afternoon going to St Émilion. The guide was excellent, she was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The chateau we visited was very nice and the person doing the tasting was also excellent. She answered all of our questions and I learned more about wine and the specific designations for the region. St Émilion was worth seeing, it’s a beautiful site. I would have liked a little more time in St Émilion; however, we were restricted by time. The other participants were very friendly and it was a pleasure meeting them and sharing this experience with them. All in all, a great experience.
Our trip was amazing and our guide Melanie was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and kind and easy going. Thanks Mel! The tour was organised very well, great attention to detail and it made for a wonderful afternoon. Thanks again Melanie and the whole team!
This was a very convenient and enjoyable way to get to see the Medoc Region. It was nice to have a group of 8 people and Hugo was a great guide. He was friendly, personable and professional with added recommendations.
Mel, our guide, was the best! She spoke with such knowledge and enthusiasm. Her driving was brilliant! St Emillion was so worth a visit and the Gide at the Chateau for the tour and tasting was excellent. Pick up point could be clearer, maybe with the organiser wearing a fluorescent jacket?
Mel was our tour guide and made for a wonderful afternoon learning about and tasting wines as well as the history behind St. Emillion. Beautiful area and town.
Lovely visit Eloise was knowledgable friendly and cheerful .. the chateaux was beautiful although inside was in need of old but the owners are putting all their investment into the vineyard .. the wine was yummy and he was great explaining how and what to eat with the wine .. a lovely afternoon out thankyou
Great tour out to the Medoc region. Our tour guide Regis was fantastic we got to see what Bordeaux is famous for and enjoy some wonderful wines.
Good with a excellent guide. Gives an appreciation of Bordeaux wine and the various classifications.
We met Eloise with no problem. She drove eight of us out to Château Cote de Baleau. We spent time tasting a few wines with a few snacks which was lovely and we enjoyed. Then we were driven to the quaint St Emilion to discover on our own. We would highly recommend!
Firstly, I attach none of the negative parts of this tour to our fabulous guide Gabriel. He was amazing, very informative, humorous and great company. There was a big event going on at the meet up point so finding the location was a bit difficult but we just called the number in the confirmation message and they were very helpful. The drive to St. Emilion was about an hour away, the van was fully occupied so a bit of a squeeze but still comfortable and had air con. We unfortunately only got 30 minutes to walk around St. Emilion, we didn’t feel this was enough time whatsoever. Then a short drive to the Chateau where Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the processes and the landscape. We learnt a lot. The tasting itself was very disappointing. Our sommelier (I can’t remember his name), was knowledgeable but kept going on his phone and did not feel very professional. We got 4 tasters and a small board of cheese, meat, bread and dark chocolate that paired with the tastings. The wine itself was nice, as was the food, but the experience was no longer than 30 minutes. We were then given an additional 10 minutes to look around the chateau (garden and living room only), before driving back to Bordeaux. All-in-all, we do not feel as though this experience was worth £166 for two people. Gabriel was the highlight, alongside the wines itself and St.Emilion village was lovely, would’ve appreciated being able to spend more time there.
Learned about the region and the wine. Very knowledgeable guide telling us about the history for Bordeaux as well as the history of the wine.
A lovely way to spend an afternoon. Vicki our guide was helpful & knowledgeable. We even had time for a bonus chocolate tasting session in between vineyards
Visited Chateau Cote de Baleau in St Emilion. Beautiful day, very nice guide and good wine - excellent experience. Special thanks to the Lady of the Chateau, she spoke about the wines in detail and has a great sense of humour - best regards from Finland <3
The overall experience was okay, but was slightly lacking for me. Eloise was great and Jonathan at the Châteaux was very passionat, knowledgeable and welcoming. The tour was missing information while we were travelling to the venue. The people who sit in the front of the minibus were being told lots of information but you couldn't hear if you were at the back. Trip could be enhanced with a microphone and more wine history. The charcuterier board advertised is not what I was expecting and was rather lack lusture eaten standing up in a shop. Good trip but could be improved.
It’s a lovely tour of the region with plenty of history. The first chateau museum tour (The Miailhe family) was long and a bit boring, but the tasting itself was excellent. . The second winery (Chateau Paloumey) was fantastic. We purchased wine from them, sustainable and organic, not to mention delicious!
The historical city tour and wine cave tour was both fabulous.
Each winery basically discussed the same things. First winery spent very little time with us during the tasting! Second place much better and a more personal appeal!
We had an amazing wine tour from Bordeaux to Saint-Émilion, and it was a lovely trip. Our guide, Vicky, was fabulous, really friendly and took the time to share all history. Her passion for the region and wine really brought the whole experience to life. We also lucked out with a great group of people. Visiting château was a highlight. The vineyard is beautiful, the château itself is full of history, and the tasting of 3 Saint-Émilion wines was delicious. The village of Saint-Émilion was captivating; its history leaves a real impression on you, and it’s the kind of place you just don't want to leave. We would definitely recommend this tour as a relaxing day.
The tour guide was wonderful she got us there and back with our issue. Smaller group which felt nice, only eight of us. The chateaus visited were both very nice. The pours were on the shorter side in my opinion and the charcuterie board was one cheese one meat chocolate and some bread. I was not expecting to be fed but felt cheap. Given the short time frame of booking it was the only one with any resemblance of food available for the time as other similar priced tours that offered lunches were already booked.
Perfect wine tasting experience. If any feedback would like a little more free time to wonder Saint Emilion. Very adorable village!
Absolutely fantastic experience. Fun and informative, thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the trip.
It was a lovely trip!! Great wine tasting! Our guide was very informative n warm n pleasant! We had a good group of people with us! The chateau winery we went to was really nice! The St. Emillion village was very quaint! Picturesque! We had a good experience! Worth doing!
Booked the half day Medoc tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our Guide (Gallad) was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure it was an enjoyable trip. Went to the Dauzac Winery first and the tour of the site was informative and the wine excellent. Then went on to an Organic Winery which was also excellent. Food and advice offered at both sites while tasting the wine. All travel was in a very comfortable minibus in a small group that made it feel more special and the tour of the area was amazing.
It was a very good experience. Gabrielle is a very good communicator. He is kind, patient and well versed in the story of wine and St Emilion. We had a great experience despite 38° temperature.
Outstanding experience! Exploring the gorgeous château, tasting wonderful wines, and touring the caves was unforgettable. Mel was a fantastic guide—so knowledgeable about local history and winemaking, and she truly made the day special. Highly recommend!
Jade was very pleasant and knowledable. She is a skilled driver and unintimidated by a challenging situation. the castle and winetasting were lovely. and the city was extraordinarily beautiful.
We just finished the Saint-Émilion wine tasting and tour hosted by Eloïse, and it was a fantastic experience. Eloïse was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend the day with. We brought our four-year-old daughter along, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had thoughtfully arranged for her to enjoy a grape juice tasting alongside the wine tasting. It was such a wonderful touch that made our entire family feel included. The guided walk through the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion was fascinating, filled with rich history, stunning architecture, and, of course, an appreciation for the region’s exceptional wines. Thank you, Eloïse, for sharing your passion and expertise. You made our visit to Saint-Émilion truly memorable, and this was one of the highlights of our time in Bordeaux. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the region.
Brilliant guided tour by helpful and friendly people. I purchased some wine and would refer others to do the same tour.
Fabians was an excellent guide would recommend
Our guide Tibault was incredible, so knowledgeable, so much fun, made us feel so comfortable. The trip to asaint Emilion was tailored to our preferences giving us enough time to wander around whilst also giving us some incredible facts about the local area. Would recommend highly
Vicki is the best! She was very informative.
We had a wonderful experience on this wine tour! The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared a great mix of history, winemaking techniques, and local information that made the tour both educational and enjoyable. The wines were excellent, and each tasting was well explained, making us appreciate the unique characteristics of the region even more. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, with stunning vineyard views that made the experience even more memorable. Everything was well organized, and we never felt rushed during the tastings. The only thing we would have loved was a little more time exploring the underground limestone wine caves. They were fascinating and such a unique part of the experience that we wished we could have spent a bit longer there. Overall, this was a fantastic tour that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux or Saint Émilion. A perfect combination of great wine, beautiful scenery, and excellent storytelling! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had Ello and she was an amazing tour guide! We had a group of eight and the meeting point was well described and the Ello introduced herself and the group went around to intro themselves as well. We went off in a air conditioned van to first the winery. The winery was in such a cute chateau. We got to learn about the area and the bordeaux grapes and then had a class and tasting with a sommelier who was very knowledgeable. The cheese, chocolate and cured meat platters were delicious. Since I brought my two kids, Ello also offered to play a game with them but they opted to stay and learn about wine and sip on grape juice with the rest of the group. After the wine tasting, Ello took us around St Emilion the city and we went to some great viewpoints and then to see a wine cave/cellar since it was so hot outside. She was very flexible in the plans and let us choose the activity since we were supposed to climb some stairs but we changed the plans due to the heat there. After that, she drive us back and everything ended on time. Highly recommend this activity!
I want to say our guide was very nice and knowledgable and our trip there was very smooth and comfortable. However, this trip was such a rip off. I wish they had put the duration so I would have had realistic expectations. We got to the winery and tried 4 wines and we left within 30 minutes, there was no fanfare. We stood the entire time. Usually wine tastings give you different glasses for each wine, nope all 4 (including a white) was had in the same glass. Then we got to saint emilion where our guide gave us a nice history lesson and then took us to a souvenir shop then we were rushed a cookie shop then we got to see a view for about 5 mins then we went to 13th century church walked through for maybe 10 mins and then our guide left to get the van, I naively thought we were going somewhere else within the town but nope that was our ride home. I was gravely disappointed with the whole process. It felt rushed even though there was only 4 of us. We never got time to explore saint emilion. There was so much I wanted to see. Overall terrible value for what we got especially since a whole day bike tour in Versailles grounds and palace entry costs about the same while this tour is 3:30 hours total(1:30hour of which is spent in the car).
My friend and I really enjoyed the wine tasting and sites we visited. It was great to meet people from all over who share the appreciation for great wine. Our guide Gabe was very knowledgeable, pleasant and fun. I highly recommend this excursion for any wine enthusiast.
A most enjoyable experience. The guide was excellent; most knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. However, it was not clear where we had to meet at the start of the trip and I could not access the website link. As I had booked over the internet I began to worry that the trip did not exist!
