Mika did an incredible job providing our small group with his vast, local knowledge of the Bordeaux area history, food and wine! The bike ride was a ten out of ten!! We meandered through the lovely countryside before enjoying a superb tasting at a beautiful chateau and then dining at a local restaurant in a quaint village. Highly recommend this tour!!!

We had a wonderful time on the tour. A great mix of history, wine and bike ride. You ride through the city and out into the beautiful countryside. We visited a cute chateau to taste wine and learn the history before lunch in a very local spot. Our guide was helpful with making me feel comfortable on the bikes and navigating the bike lanes and trails. It was very hot the day we went but the breeze while riding made it not so bad and it was an enjoyable ride.
I've done a lot of wine tours before but never by e-bike which was a great way to do it, as you cover loads of distance and it's easy on the legs. The route along the river was gorgeous and quiet, lots of wildlife, pretty houses and forest with only locals using it. The chateau was stunning and the tour and wine tasting there was interesting, with us being the only tourists . Down the road we had a three course meal, best steak I think I've ever had! All in all the trip was incredibly fun and huge value for money.
Mika is an excellent guide. He took us to a great winery and a wonderful locals place for lunch. We got a lot of exercise as well.
¡Genial! Aquí tienes la versión completa en inglés: I took part in two bike tours. The first was with Mika, a very kind and fun guide, who shared some of the city’s history with us. Then we headed out to the Bordeaux countryside, surrounded by nature. The ride was easy with e-bikes, and I enjoyed it a lot. At the wine tasting, we learned about the wine-making process, the team was very attentive, and we even brought a few bottles of wine home. The food was excellent, with a variety of dishes and a great atmosphere. The next day, I had a tour with Flavie, an incredible, energetic, and kind guide. This tour was within the city, immersing us in Bordeaux’s history and culture. In the end, it was a completely different experience from any I had had before, and I had so much fun. I was left with a great impression of both guides and the beautiful city they showed us. Mika and Flavie would answer all my questions in Spanish. Even though I understood almost everything they said, if something slipped by, they would respond perfectly in Spanish. Without a doubt, I would return to Bordeaux and do more tours with them.
An exceptional way to experience Bordeaux beyond the postcard views. This e-bike journey blends culture, heritage, and wine with remarkable elegance. Mika’s deep knowledge of Bordeaux’s history and wine culture brings the region to life, guiding you through hidden corners of the city before escaping into the peaceful vineyard countryside. The transition from urban Bordeaux to rolling vineyards is seamless and refreshing, offering breathtaking landscapes and a true sense of place. The wine tasting, paired with local food, is carefully curated and deeply rooted in the region’s traditions, making the experience both authentic and refined. More than a bike tour, this is a thoughtfully crafted cultural and oenological experience, perfect for travelers seeking meaningful connections with Bordeaux. Highly recommended for anyone who values discovery, taste, and storytelling.
We enjoyed a really fun day, on our electric bike trip from Central Bordeaux out to the countryside, with a great wine tasting experience & delicious lunch. Mika is a fantastic host & guide, very knowledgeable & there to make sure you have a fun day. Can’t recommend this tour highly enjoy, great fun & incredible value for money!
Good time. Michael was our host (and guide) on our jaunt through the French countryside. A little light rain in the morning didn’t dampen our spirits and it turned out to be a glorious day. The e-bikes were great, the wine tour and tasting was brilliant and lunch was excellent as well. Can’t say enough about this tour. Do it, well worth the time and the money. Thanks Michael, you made our trip to Bordeaux all the more special.
What a fantastic way to spend a day in Bordeaux! Owner Mika was our guide & what a knowledgeable & hospitable guide he was. Everything about this tour was excellent - the quality of the bikes, the guide, the wine tour & tasting at the chateau, the scenery, the lunch & the overall format. Highly recommend.
They under promise and over deliver is the way to go and this tour does exactly that. The guide is knowledgeable and good company. Furthermore the e-bikes where high quality and brand new. Highly recommended by the four of us.
Riding from the city of Bordeaux into the beautiful countryside was wonderful, especially on a lovely September day. Our guide, Mica (Michael), had a great route along the extensive network of bike paths. We rode along the river, through beautiful natural spaces, and along the edges of vineyards. Great ebikes made the trip easy. We enjoyed a wine tasting and a lovely lunch. Nice mix of history, scenery, food, and wine. Mica was a great host, and he made the trip most enjoyable. I strongly recommend this if you enjoy a pleasant day trip on an ebike. We had a nice group with 4 people plus Mica. This was everything I was hoping for.
My partner and I had the best day in Bordeaux, thanks to Mika. He was super friendly and it felt like he showed us all ‘4 corners’ of Bordeaux city together with a thoroughly enjoyable e-bike ride outside of the city to the chateau…all within a day! Obviously the chateau, wine tasting and lunch were amazing but Mika was the much appreciated glue that pieced it all together and made the day so special and easy for us to enjoy. Next time we are in Bordeaux, we will be doing this again for sure and hope many other read this review and book to share the amazing experience
Truly enjoyed this e-bike adventure thanks to Michael’s high standards! Excellent bikes and equipment were provided. We felt very safe riding within the city and on lovely rural bike paths. Winery tour and tasting was interesting and fun. Plenty of food, drink and conversation at lunch. Such a great opportunity to meet people and learn about the Bordeaux region!
This was an amazing time. Got some exercise, learned about Bordeaux, and saw some parts of the countryside we would have missed on a walking tour.
This is a must do, Everything is organised perfectly and the host was magnificent , A man proud to share his experience and knowledge of this wonderful place. You meet the amazing crew and pick the brand new E Bikes up at a garage downtown and set off on a 5 hour masterclass. Stopping at points en route to the vineyard to bring history and culture to life. After wonderful cycling through quiet countryside you arrive at a Chateau where a brilliant guide brings the history and principles behind the famous Bordeaux wines. Fabulous wine tasting followed by lunch at a small restaurant in a quiet village. An unexpected twist was meeting new friends as the people on our tour were as interesting as the tour itself, Stay away from the tourists traps and see the real Bordeaux with this brilliant tour, Highlight of the Holiday,
An absolutely exceptional experience! 🚴♂️🍷 We spent an incredible day cycling in the Entre-deux-Mers region starting from Bordeaux. The route was magnificent, between small roads, vineyards, charming villages, and discoveries of the Bordeaux terroir. But the real highlight of the tour is the guide! A passionate, radiant person, with incredible communicative energy. He shares his good humor, his enthusiasm, and his love for the region throughout the day. You don't just go cycling: you truly live an experience, with someone who knows how to help you discover their territory with passion and generosity. And as if this day wasn't already exceptional enough, we were lucky enough to run into the crew from the show Échappées Belles, who had come to film a report on the region. A little touch that was completely unexpected and made the experience even more memorable! Everything was perfectly organized: a superb itinerary, magnificent landscapes, wine discoveries, and above all an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. An outing that we recommend with our eyes closed. If you like cycling, wine, beautiful landscapes, and above all great encounters, go for it with Monsieur Bacchus! A huge thank you for this extraordinary day. We are leaving with a smile, wonderful memories, and only one desire: to do it again! 🚴♂️🍷
We spent an excellent half-day with Mika, our guide, who is very friendly, professional, and knows Bordeaux and its region perfectly. It is an ideal experience to discover the city and its surroundings differently, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Mika adapted perfectly to our international group. The route through the greenway and the bike paths was very pleasant and we felt completely safe. The visit to the Château du Grand Verdus was very interesting, followed by an excellent wine tasting. Lunch at a typical restaurant was also of very good quality. We recommend without hesitation! 🚲🍷 Jérôme
I did a wonderful tour, very safe, very well guided, a great visit to a winemaker, a fantastic lunch, and Mika is a wonderful person.
We did the cycling tour of Entre-deux-Mers with Monsieur Bacchus and it was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences we have lived in the Bordeaux region. The adventure began in the historic center of Bordeaux where Mika —our guide and also owner of the project — welcomed us with an exciting introduction about the history of the city. We wander among iconic monuments, each accompanied by anecdotes and data that only someone who deeply loves this place can share. Then we crossed the magnificent Stone Bridge, built under Napoleon Bonaparte, and from there we started the tour to the countryside. The landscape changed completely in a very short time: vineyards, small rural roads and absolute tranquility. Our stop at the family winery Château Grand Verdus was a real privilege. They opened the doors to us as if we were guests for a lifetime, and the tasting was both intimate and very instructive. Later, we enjoyed a regional lunch with entree, plate and dessert. The food was delicious and served with a cordiality that perfectly completed the experience. In total it was almost six hours of discovery, history, nature and wine. We learned a lot about the region and its wine traditions. An authentic, humane and highly recommended tour. Mika was outstanding!
