Bordeaux Wine Masterclass: Tasting Workshop With Appetizer

It was the best experience I had in France, not only Bordeaux. Gabriel, the host was super knowleageable and he did show so much care and answered all the questions. The experience of pairing the wines, understanding how the is the ratings, the science behind it, itbwas extraordinary.

A really interesting workshop exploring the wines of Bordeaux. Fabien was personable, charismatic and knowledgable. We learned a lot about the history of winemaking in the region and the differences between the Appalachians. It was an intimate experience. Would highly recommend it.

Informative and enjoyable for lovers of red wine. France has a complex Appellation classification system for wine. This class explains that and more along with the Bordeaux wine regions and blending.

Fabien was just stunning. His welcoming vibe and friendly attitude made all the group come together as well. The group members were also very fun :) The overall program was perfect ! The history, the tastimg technique and everything else Fabien mantioned was just such an insightful way to get to know Bordeaux wines. Now I know the "clear" difference between left / right bank!! 100% would recommend :)

My husband and I ended up having a private class because the other attendees had some travel issues and could not make it. The lady who taught the class (sorry I cannot recall her name) was very charming and spoke great English. I think our class was one and a half hours which was perfect for getting a little overview of Bordeaux wine and the region. For our purposes, I thought this might be more interesting than taking half a day to visit one winery. Anyway, we thought it was a great use of time and learned a lot. It is in a nice little space in a building that was very conveniently located. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best wine tasting experiences ever! I learned so much about the wines of Bordeaux and beyond. The fun smelling tests, teaching us a lot about the wines of France. It was an amazing time. We tried to book their afternoon tour to St. Emilion, but it was totally booked. This tour company really cares about your experience!

Great wine tasting. Learnt lots about the diff wines in and around Bordeaux and also red wines around France The opportunity to make our own ‘blend’ and test our sense of smell was also something I’d not done before and a lot of fun!

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. The host was amazing, the knowledge he shared, his wit and his willingness to answer questions and he often encouraged guest participation. His passion for the business and the wines in Bordeaux shines through. Tasted a number of wines and even had the opportunity to make our own blend. The snacks provided were delicious too. Worth doing if you have a few free hours in Bordeaux and are excited to learn about the wine industry in the region.

My husband and I were in Bordeaux on a milestone birthday vacation - and planned several things around wine. This was a GREAT way to learn more about the region, the wine, blending, tasting. Very informative in a causal setting with a small group. Our instructor was very knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions - keeping it light and fun. The appetizer plate was an added plus. We would highly recommend!

There was so much information shared in such a fun and meaningful way. Wine history of France, tasting and creating. The others there enhanced the experience.

Hugo was informative and made the class fun. The charcuterie board was yummy and we learned a lot. It was the perfect amount of time and we recommend to everyone! Its a fun way to start your day.

Dorian was a fantastic teacher. Not only well-versed in Wayne, but very understanding of cognac if that is your thing. I would certainly do more tours with him in the future.

We participated in this excursion and couldn't have been happier.. It was my husband and I and another couple. We learned about the various regions, allowed to play with blending of a couple of varietals. There was a small tray of snack that complimented the wines such as cheese, chocalate.......... We had the opportunity to do a blind tasting of the 4 wines we had sampled earlier..........50% correct. We were not rushed and all our questions were answered. We didn't reason there was a separate excursion after lunch, we wanted to join but unfortunately it was full. I thought it was a great way to start our stay in Bordeaux.

Loved the environment -Very personnel - beautiful inside - gave one a view of how the French live - Carol was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with guest . Was a little surprised it was more than just the wines of Bordeaux but maybe did not read it close enough however tasting wines from all over France was very nice- was just surprised

This class is a super fun way to spend a morning in Bordeaux. The small group format gives you plenty of time to learn about wine, including the structure, the flavors, the climate, etc. We were given plenty of wine to taste and through tasting we learned how to fully appreciate wines including how to understand which wines you prefer. This was the best wine tasting experience I have ever had and worth every penny. I highly recommend it

We really enjoyed the challenge of the blind tasting, as we are experienced wine enthusiasts. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the wine blending to discern the differences between East and West Bank, and ultimately how blending the wines made both better.

My friend and I had a wonderful morning learning about (and tasting!) wine. Hugo covered a lot of ground in the session but in a very engaging way. I came away with a much better understanding and the servings of wine were very generous! Would definitely recommend.

I learned many things about French wines and the regions. And we had more than 5 glasses of different wines to taste, with some snacks to pairing with. I had a great time and next time I’ll bring my frd to join again .

Loved our tasting from Bordeaux. Especially when we got to blend our own wine. It really helped us to understand the process of wine making so much more. It was informative, fun and in a relaxed setting. Plenty of wine but not much food. Our teacher was good although not a sommelier as advertised. Would recommend if you want some general knowledge.

Very enjoyable wine tasting. Hector was knowledgeable about the wine. I have been on a few wine tastings around the world and this one was quite in-depth with more background to how a bottle of wine has gained that flavour. Recommended wine tasting.
