We had a lovely stay even if it was only for 1 night. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and to top it off also gifted us a bottle of local wine as we were travelling for our honeymoon. We would happily return

Great hotel. No hotel is perfect, and this one is no exception, but overall I would recommend it. A concern I had was that although the breakfast was extensive, the scrambled eggs are not kept hot enough for my comfort. Food needs to be at a certain temperature to be safe, and "slightly warm" doesn't work for me. Also, the bacon was almost raw, with the fat still white. During the heat wave, the air conditioning seemed to be quite good, however I believe they cut back on it during the night, as the room god warm and humid each night after bed time. This might be OK most of the time, but during a heat wave it bad for sleepless nights in the stuffy warm room. The good parts: The breakfast was otherwise impressive, with something for everyone. The room was very nice, with a good shower, a fridge, and safe. The people were friendly and helpful.
There are a few issues I would like to mention. First, while I was relaxing in my room, someone opened the door and entered without knocking. He explained that he had come to repair the shower. However, there was no problem with the shower, and no prior notice had been given. This was quite surprising and uncomfortable. When i told the reception, they told me, this might happen sometimes!!! Second, the refrigerator in the room is not turned on by default and guests must request activation at reception. Since I had fruit and some other food items with me, I asked the reception to turn it on, which they did. However, when I returned to the hotel the following day, the refrigerator had been switched off again, causing my food to spoil. Finally, during my four-night stay, I requested room cleaning once. Although the room was cleaned, basic amenities such as napkins/tissues were not replenished afterward. Overall, the hotel was not bad, but these issues negatively affected my experience.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The highlights were definitely the friendliness of the staff and the great location. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding a postcard in the room with the name of the person who had cleaned it. It’s those small details that make guests feel welcomed and truly make a difference. The bed was also extremely comfortable. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The carpet in the room felt quite outdated and had a few visible stains. I also noticed that the cabinet housing the safe and minibar was damaged, with the laminate chipped and the underlying material exposed, which gave the room a somewhat worn appearance. In addition, the minibar/fridge was not working properly and didn’t keep drinks or food cool. Considering how hot it was during my stay, this was a bit disappointing. I also noticed some yellow stains in the bathroom, particularly around the bathtub. While this may be due to age and wear rather than actual cleanliness, it unfortunately gave an impression of poor hygiene. For this reason, I believe that some refurbishment and updates to the rooms would greatly enhance the overall guest experience and better reflect the quality of service provided by the staff. Despite these points, I enjoyed my stay and would still recommend the hotel for its excellent staff, comfortable beds and convenient location.
This hotel is just ok. It is just outside of Centre-Ville, so it feels far. It is also not in a very nice part of the city. The street where it is located smells really bad. The room was a good size. The carpet was stained & the wall was dirty (gross!). Breakfast offered plenty of choices. Elevator & air conditioning were a plus.
