After a flight cancelation and 5 hours waiting in the airport, I've encountered an absolute refusal for check in before 15h, only to understand that it's a 30€ surcharge (so room is actually ready). This is a perfect way of showing that money is the only thing that the care for, and that customer care or just some simple basic service, is too much to ask. A big 0 for customer care.
The hotel is near to the airport and next to tram line A with direct access into the centre. The hotel looks smart and modern from the outside, but the rooms and areas inside are in desperate need of upgrading. The room was a good size with a kitchenette in there, a big but soft bed, a large working area but the arm chair is so low it makes it hard to work at the desk. The bathroom like the rest is in need of upgrading, the shower is poor either burning hot or cold with little to no water pressure. The on-site restaurant provides breakfast if you want it, which actually offers a good selection of different options. I didn't eat there for an evening so I am not able to comment on that. There is also an onsite bar which provides a good selection of drinks. Despite the closeness of the airport, it was very quiet even with the window open.
Well I can say the only plus in rooms is that they r pretty “big” but overall the interior is old and “killed”, the furniture is damaged, there are holes in the door and a cracked mirror. There are also strange rules like you can't leave trash or you'll get a fine or you have to wash your own dishes (I haven't seen such rules in any of the hotels in the different countries I've been to). But the service was nice.
Amazing hotel, professional staff, lovely hotel with a great vibe and has more than you'd expect from any room. It's like each room is an apartment not just a hotel room. I've stayed in amazing 5 star hotels that do not accommodate as well as this place. It may be worn and tired in places but the atmosphere rooms spa professionalism and food are amazing and make you overlook the small details that need updating. I'm on decking out the front in the bar area enjoying music and ready to eat from a generous menu with a room that most people would expect as a suite in any other hotel for less than €100. A last minute deal but out of this world for what the hotel offers. Side note: there are two pools an inside and outside pool the indoor one is with the spa... Which is a paid pool the outdoor one is free! And you have to walk across the car park as you look at the front of the hotel it's on your left. Ask the receptionist!
