Everything was amazing! My wife and I are on our honeymoon and we wanted to stay in wine country! This was the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the service, to the gifts they gave us for the occasion and the property is stunning. We had a picnic with ducks and goats! and ate at the amazing restaurants. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

The perfect vineyard escape! Les Sources de Caudalie is an absolutely stunning luxury resort nestled right in the Bordeaux vineyards. The entire property breathes tranquility and elegance. The service is exceptional—discreet, warm, and highly professional at every turn. The dining is absolutely fabulous, offering world-class culinary experiences paired with incredible wines. Between the gorgeous setting, the famous spa, and the top-tier hospitality, it is an unforgettable retreat.

Definitely the most beautiful hotel property I’ve been to. Very serene, beautiful buildings, and great pools. Very cool for a fan of wine as it’s in the middle of a vineyard that you can visit just across the street. The service is great and very attentive, but there were times when the outdoor pool didn’t have drink service unexpectedly. The only thing to note about this hotel is that everything is very expensive. The rooms themselves are expensive but that’s understood as it’s a 5* experience, but everything else on the property is expensive as well. Drinks, restaurants, and the spa will add up so be aware of those expenses if you book. Good location that’s close enough to Bordeaux but still out in the country. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it’s great for couples.

We had a beautiful stay at Les Sources de Caudalie. Let’s start with the positive: - Great interior design and site layout that make you feel that you are in a more intimate setting than you really are. It is cosy and everything has been carefully thought through. - Nice food options. From gastronomique to more casual. We tried the 3 restaurants and loved them all. Als, the cocktails are well executed which is important for us. - Complimentary bikes is a nice way to explore the region. We even took an electric bike one day to visit some Chateau which was great as it was really hot during our stay. - Not far from the airport even if it feels like you are escaping the city vibes. - Peaceful and picturesque. - Nice pool area. For the downsides: - We had, prior to our arrival, agreed to a late check-out at 4pm with our travel agency. When I went to confirm with the reception team I was told that it was not possible due to other bookings and was not on my file. The tone used by the employee was cold and unpleasant. I left politely and went to check my emails as I knew it was confirmed. When I went back and showed the email that said it was confirmed the attitude of the employee shifted totally and he became nice and in two seconds adjusted our check-out time to 4pm. That means he lied to me when I first asked about it earlier. I just don’t understand why the attitude shift and not being accommodating from the get go. It was clearly not a problem as it took 2 seconds to fix the check-out time. This really didn’t sit well with us. - We were there during a heatwave and the AC was not strong enough. (The room stayed around 24-25 degrees even with the thermostat set at 18) - Everything needs to be booked ahead meaning you can’t decide on the spot if you want a spa treatment during your stay for example. We had not booked the spa but my husband had some back pain a few days before our stay. It was too late to book as the spa was already full. It would be nice to keep some spots for the hotel guests. - Service could be more personalised. Finally there was a water issue during our stay. Even if it was inconvenient, the staff made sure to give us water when needed and kept everyone informed. The situation was handled really well and we appreciated it. Conclusion, the positives outweigh the negatives for us and we would definitely come back. It is a beautiful property.
