Great guide, very knowledgeable and great sense of humour. Off road part of tour was very bumpy but the views were worth it. One viewpoint was on private property owned by our guide, stunning views of the lagoon and a former resort destroyed by a hurricane. Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than cruise ship similar tour.

We had a great tour with Mr. Nono! He was super nice, very knowledgable and took us to all the best places. This tour is a great way to get all the Bora Bora highlights in a short period of time.
Unique experience, not my favorite. Sitting in the back of a pick up truck with 8 others with no air conditioning was tough. We were given one bottle of water during the trip. While traveling steep bumpy roads it was difficult to hold on at times. The views were amazing, the history of island is great and our guide was fun and friendly.
We were picked up right at our villa on Matira Beach. Our guide/driver was excellent and easily switched between English and French to accommodate all of the group. The views of the lagoon from above were spectacular. We had not been aware of the 15 minute each way hike needed to get to the WW2 cannons, so that was a bit of a surprise. Thankfully the hike was fairly gentle and our guide brought water for us to rehydrate at the cannons. One note of caution: part way to the cannons we stopped and our guide picked a leaf from what he called a "lemon tree", though he said it doesn't actually grow lemons. He crushed the leaf and said that biting insects do not like the citron odor so people rub the leaves on their skin as natural insect repellant. Our guide did so himself, rubbing the leaf on his inner forearm. I thought nothing then of rubbing it on my skin. BIG MISTAKE! I ended up with a large red, blistered area from the leaf and subsequent sun exposure (phytophotodermatitis). Lesson learned!
Great tour and fantastic guide. Matainono was very knowledgeable and considerate of everyone in regards to Bora Bora's somewhat rugged terrain.
Tour was very enjoyable. Able to see many things on the island you would not see without a guided tour. Guide showed up just on time and did not give us details of what we would be doing but was friendly and a nice guy.
Alex was an amazing host and guide on October 30, 2021. The in-depth history of Popora (Bora Bora) which he shared was impressive and greatly appreciated. The tour was full of excellent photo opportunities. Going around the island to see both the commercial life as well as the natural beauty provided excellent insight into life on the island. I would highly recommend this adventure with Alex.
Alex was a fabulous host while we were on the island of Bora Bora. His love for his land and culture really showed, and we loved hearing the cultural and historical information about this wonderful place. I was a little nervous about the (fairly brief) off road parts of the tour, but he went slowly and safely- made me very comfortable. This was a great way to see the island!
We went on our tour on 5/18/21. Our driver Alex was very knowledgeable on history of island drove steep roads very efficiently giving us best views of islands, and always reminded us to let him take our pictures. He also spoke good English. When we come back I will use this company & request Alex as driver

Excellent tour of Bora Bora by 4 WD. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour with our native Tahitian guide. He spoke excellent english and was full of interesting observations and entertaining comments.

Ok tour but expensive for what we did. Necessary to get the expansive views of the island.

Tamera arrived early for our tour. What a nice surprise. She has over 10 years experience and did a wonderful job explaining the island to us. We were a group of 8 adults with lots of questions. She patiently answered all of them. Unfortunately, one of the roads was under construction and try as she did, Tamera couldn't find a way around the construction so we missed out on one lookout location. The cost of island progress. She did a great job shuttling us all around and even made an extra stop for us on our return. The Pearl Farm was enjoyable no pressure to purchase but an excellent education in how peals are formed.

This was a great trip at a great price. Our guide was Frank. Frank made this trip much better than any other duide could have possibly done.
Frank knew quie a lot about the island of Bora Bora and added by telling personal storys who knew he was a cannibal lol.
Frank was also very knowledgable concerning the U.S. involment during WWII in Bora Bora. He had thousnads of photos that he had collected and is the unoffical historian off this time frame.
I think this tour woud have been great with any guide but Frank raised it to the next level.

A huge thank you to our guide Nono, who made this morning in a 4x4 absolutely unforgettable. Much more than just an excursion, he helped us discover the history of Bora Bora, its culture, its traditions, and the most beautiful landscapes of the island with passion, humor, and kindness. His good mood is contagious, his explanations are fascinating, and he takes the time to share his love for his island. We had an authentic time, rich in discoveries and exchanges. If you are looking for a 4x4 excursion in Bora Bora, we recommend this experience with our eyes closed, and with Nono if you have the possibility! Mauruuru for this magnificent morning!
The guide Mata Nono explained everything to me excellently. He had great historical knowledge and explained to me many things that I could not even have imagined before. A great experience.
Very nice ride. Our guide Nono was very friendly, courteous and smiling. It's a very complete tour. Several photo stops. Many relevant comments on the geology of the island, the American presence, the various great hotels on the Motus, etc.
Extraordinary! Matanono is a great guide , exciting because very cultured and amazing kindness I recommend his turn
Nono made me discover the island in 3 hours, going around like the inside of the island. Lots of anectodes and history. Very good driver, careful.
4x4 exit very good, informative about the history, culture and life of Bora Bora. The Guide is very friendly (manoui)
We went on a sunset trip with Manuia. Despite a delay due to the captain of the shuttle he knew how to make up for lost time and make us discover the sunset. Moreover by his kindness, he gave us exciting information Thank you for this pleasant visit
During our stay in Bora Bora, we were advised by the activities office of our hotel. And we were not disappointed! Despite the Covid period, the quality of the service was there! And we even had the chance to be alone during this ride. Our guide, Alex, is a true fan of his island and transmits this knowledge with little anecdotes! Thank you to him for this very pleasant time! No age restrictions for this activity, we did it with an 18 month old baby 😉
Superb visit with our guide Alex! inexhaustible on his land and history, the visit of Bora-Bora is carried out with a lot of sympathy, humor and enrichment. Alex takes pictures of us and tells us his island for our greatest pleasure! to do without hesitation and in private for even more proximity. A little hello to Alex from the metropolis...Mauruuru Alex!
A very pleasant moment of historical and geographical discovery of Bora Bora with ALEX who knew how to transmit the soul of Vavau thanks to his knowledge and passion for its island and its traditions, customs, Polynesian culture. Maururu for this beautiful moment.
