Sam was our captain and he was amazing!! Super fun trip- saw the whole island and swam with sharks and rays!! It was an awesome trip- worth the money and Sam was great! Highly recommend- request Sam!!

Captain T was amazing. Snorkeled the reef, and swam with sharks. He also cracked open coconuts for us. Super funny, cool guy. 10/10 recommend!

Nice boat. We really enjoyed having a private boat experience to tool around bora bora on our own. My husband stayed out of the sun but I loved riding on the front of the boat as it zipped around to various spots. Our driver Marahama was fun and professional. We had a very nice morning!

Enjoyed a wonderful sunset cruise in Bora Bora with Captain Taai and first mate Tehere. Uke playing made it even more fun!

My tour guide Nicholson makes us feel like he just came to deliver his shift. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that. He's nice and simply ask us what we want to do, drove us to the spot and let us go down for swim until it's time to move onto the next spot. We did spot manta rays, eagle rays and went to the so-called aquarium, which is an area with lots of fish

Terrible experience. Our guide was disrespectful and downright rude. We tried to talk to him and ask him questions about the island and he would barely give us one word answers. We went to wear the shark area was and while we were in the water and he was in the boat he jumped in and scared us and the sharks and then was pulling at their tails. Extremely disappointed and disrespectful! He would talk for 30 minutes to locals but not even acknowledge us. He took us on a wild chase looking for manta rays and swam off so far we couldn’t find him it was so rude. We never found manta which obviously isn’t his fault but he also shouldn’t have left us swimming around for an hour trying to find them and wasted all that time when we could’ve been doing something else. We asked to go coral garden snorkeling and he said not today. We did it last year and asked him why and he ignored us. We felt like we had no say and no one cared. He took us to the I love Bora Bora area that was it. We paid a lot of money and it was terrible and he was very rude except when seeing French or other local. After 3 hours we will never recommend or use this company. They will only say oh sorry too bad hope you come back. Terrible service!

Absolutely terrible! Our guide was not pleasant at all. We would ask questions about the island and he would give us one word answers. He was not engaging or nice and downright rude. He jumped in after we were in water with sharks after telling us to not make sudden movements and to be quiet in water. Literally did a cannonball scared the crap out of us! He had us s inning so much looking for manta rays far from the boat and never found but had us searching everywhere out in the open instead of finding them and then having us get in. We asked if we were doing the coral garden drift snorkeling like we did last year and he just said no and then kind of ignored us. He drove us back going so fast next to other boats with us hitting their waves so hard it hurt and we told him to slow down and he didn’t. He was so inconsiderate and was the worst guide ever. The guy we had last year was awesome, so disappointing.

Sam and Dan were the best! They took us on a once in a lifetime tour. Their knowledge and patience led us to one of the most memorable experiences my wife and I will carry on with from our honeymoon, swimming with whales. We would absolutely recommend booking with them and be sure to ask for Sam and Dan! Mauruuru Sam and Dan!

Could not have been a more perfect day on Bora Bora than the one we spent with Captain T!! He was gracious and kind, prepared his beautiful boat with cold drinks and zoomed us around the island…taking us to gorgeous places to adventure with coral gardens and stingrays and sharks! I felt safe and well cared for for and we had an amazing adventure. Highly recommend this wonderful tour and excellent company/owner!!

This was such an amazing day!! We snorkelled with Black Tip Sharks, Sting Rays, and Eagle Rays. We also went to Coral Gardens and it was an unbelievable experience! This was like a private snorkel tour, and I would do it again in a heart beat. We could stay as long or as short as we wanted at any place. Highly recommend!

An absolute highlight of our time in bora bora. The captain was amazing, and took us to some incredible island spots. The boat is perfect to relax on, and views are unsurprisingly incredible from beginning to end.

A once in a lifetime experience! We booked the Honeymoon package on a private boat. Taai was an amazing captain and made the adventure even more wonderful. We snorkeled with the rays and sharks, swam over the Manta Ray, explored a beautiful coral bed and had the most romantic lunch on a private island with Taai grilling our meal…highly recommend this tour!!!!

We did a private boat tour and Our captain Will was so amazing! He took us around the entire island and to the most beautiful places. We saw manta rays, eagle rays, sting rays, sharks, kite surfing and water in shades of blue I will never forget. It truly made our trip to bora bora. We will absolutely hire them again on our next trip. Mahalo!!

My wife and I did the Romantic Honeymoon Escape - Celebrating our 40th Anniversary. What an amazing day - Our tour guide / Captain was Heimana - he made the day fun, very knowledgeable of the history of Bora Bora. This trip included snorkeling with the black tip reef sharks, the coral gardens then off to a private motu for a fantastic BBQ lunch prepared by "Nicholson" - what a a great way to spend a day in Bora Bora. Highly recommend this tour - great way to see the island as we traveled around the entire island during the course of the day - thanks guys for making it so fun and enjoyable - Maaruuru! Lunch was delish!

A very relaxed and organised trip. We wanted to see the reefs and various sea life and I think we saw it all at four different places around Bora Bora. Vincent our captain was brilliant from start to finish. Looked after us so well, took us to all the right places and we snorkelled with loads of sharks and sting rays in one area, Manta rays in another, clown fish amongst all the others around a couple of reefs. It was just amazing, probably the best snorkelling I have ever done in my life! Thank you Vincent, you helped make our trip so good.

We did the sunset champagne cruise as a honeymoon activity and it was amazing! We learned so much about Bora Bora from our guide, Glen, during our cruise around and he sang some songs too!! Including our first dance song! We watched the sun set with some champagne and a plate of some tasty fruit. This cruise was a core memory for us. Definitely recommend to anyone, but especially to those on their honeymoon!!

This has been our 8th visit to Bora Bora. We have used Moana Adventure Tours many times. We chose to hire our own boat for 6 hours as we did last year. We had requested to have Sam as our Captain and we are so happy we did. He is an amazing man who shares so much knowledge about Bora Bora/Tahiti… as well as the environment and marine life. Sam took as to many spots which we enjoyed last time, notably swimming with the Manta Rays as well as a special swimming spot which was private. We also swam with the sharks and rays and did numerous other snorkelling spots. If you’re going to Bora Bora this is the kind of thing you should do. Captain Sam is a legend and when we return next year we’ll ask for him to guide us again.

We booked via Manawa, a private whale-watching tour for 3 hours in Bora Bora. Maui was our captain/guide and we set off on a very rainy, windy Sunday morning. The weather was abysmal and we moved up and down the coast in the open water looking for humpbacks. We found 2 boats that had sighted them and we played the waiting game for about 2 hours, without any success. We moved on, near the reef and the swell which was pretty wild, and suddenly with 30 mins to go we spotted a mother with calf. The sea was too rough to swim and the current too strong, however, we had 30 minutes of uninterrupted observation of 2 whales, which was pretty awesome. Maui was a true gentleman, he could see how important it was for us and he let us stay and observe until they submerged - we returned 30 minutes later than scheduled but we at least had seen the whales and had a positive experience. The private tour for this activity is very expensive, we paid a substantial amount of money and it was only for 3 hours - in Moorea the whale-watching is 4 hours long.

We did a 3-hours rent and it was amazing... The best experience that you can book! Doing this activity is great because you can organise as you wish your trip. Tino, our guide, was the best! We connect our phone to the Bluetooth of the boat and we put our music, the atmosphere was incredible. He brought us to the best spots for taking pictures and swimming, we saw old types of fish, sharks, dolphins and a 3 meter ray that was breathtaking. I highly recommend to do this activity!!

The best experience we had in Bora Bora. Our Captain, Jean, was very nice and incredibly accommodating. What we thought would be a simple cruise around the lagoon turned out to be an adventured filled day with sight seeing and snorkeling with marine wildlife. We will come back to Bora Bora some day and taking trip with Moana Adventures will be at the top of our list of things to do.

Beautiful moment shared with friends, Sam our captain was perfect, as kind as helpful, listening to our desires! Taking a few hours private boat tour in Bora is amazing!!!

It is well stipulated that any Reservation is payable 100% provided or not. We had already done the excursion of the black rays and spikes. So we wanted to privatize for 3 hours ( 700 €! ) to do cabotage around the island. Now I'm D-Day, it was raining hard. We left anyway because the skipper announced a change of time. After 1/2 hour , we came home wet! We were exceptionally offered a postponement in the afternoon as it was our last day! But the time has not changed! No negotiation possible! Have not accepted a refund for one this Reservation not provided! Warning: the weather is not very reliable , book the same day because direction not very cool

We spent 5 hours with Sam H, it was beautiful. He showed us the heavenly corners of Bora Bora. The coral garden, the natural pool, we swam with manta rays and sharks then we finished with a coconut tasting! Thanks again Sam. I recommend

Super morning with Jean who took the time to ask our expectations and who was full of attention! Jean knows the area very well with good spots to go or even manta ray, sharks, and rays. We also went around the island and it was beautiful! The boat is of very good quality, comfortable and Jean a great captain , safe, nice and pleasant. Thank you so much!
