We went to many locations for snorkeling and saw an abundance of sea life. The coral garden was our favorite. Toto played the yukele and made us fun palm tree hats - he was a pleasure to spend the day with . Highly recommend !

Had an amazing day with our guide Vatea- a great local guide with quick wit and fun sense of humor. We had an amazing experience swimming with rays, sharks, and exploring a coral reef. He even serenaded us and played ukulele- a real treat as we circumvented the island. Felt incredibly safe with him. Fresh fruit and coconut bread hit the spot after some time in the water. Highly recommend!!

Fabulous experience, owing much to our superb guide Rony! Having done a group tour last time, we opted for a private one this time - just the two of us. The price difference may look high, but it is thoroughly worth it given the ability to shape the program exactly how you would like it (enough time snorkeling here, can we stop on a motu, etc). Rony was a wonderful captain/guide, with deep knowledge stemming from being born here, and a great ability to anticipate and meet our needs. Mauruuru, Rony!

Hands down the BEST coral reef I have ever seen! Our guide Toto gave us the highlights of the lagoon snorkeling tour, and swimming with sharks just outside the lagoon. It was exhilarating! Beautiful sharks, fish, coral heads. Toto made us feel safe at all times. He is also a great singer and played a few songs for us. Went to swim with the stingrays (and sharks), too. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Lagoon Services in Bora Bora! From the very beginning, communication was easy, clear, and professional. They were transparent with instructions on where to meet and what to expect, which made everything seamless and stress-free. On the day of our private snorkeling tour, everything exceeded expectations. They provided snacks, water, juices, towels, and all the snorkeling gear we needed—such a thoughtful touch that made the day even more enjoyable. We had the privilege of having Ta’o (I hope I’m spelling that correctly!) as our guide, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. He shared amazing stories about their culture throughout the trip, sang songs, and played something similar to a ukulele, creating such a special and authentic atmosphere. We honestly didn’t expect to see everything on the itinerary—but we got the full experience and more! We swam with sharks, interacted with stingrays, and were guided to watch manta rays. It was truly one of the best days ever. I feel so grateful for this experience and especially for the opportunity to meet Ta’o. I would absolutely book with Lagoon Services. Highly recommend. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Toto was an excellent guide and we learned so much about Bora Bora. He took us to fantastic snorkeling sites! We loved his singing/ukulele playing. We were glad we did the private tour when we saw the other boats. It was just 2 couples and was so worth it. This is the best thing we did while on Bora Bora, and we hope to do it again someday. We were lucky enough to have Toto as our guide and it was an unbelievably awesome experience! My husband and I got to snorkel in multiple areas seeing so many beautiful sights while learning about the island and sharing some laughs along the way. Toto made everyone feel comfortable and made sure we all got to see the sea life, including petting some sting rays. We were even fortunate enough to spot manta rays and my husband seen a moray eel. If there's one thing I could do again it would be snorkeling with him.

Absolutely fantastic tour. Tau, our guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable and a mean ukulele player and singer. Made everyone feel relaxed about the experiences. Swam with stingrays and small sharks at the first stop. We didn't realize that the we were going out through the barrier reef into deeper water for the mind-blowing swim with the dozens of bigger sharks, so awesome. Then the coral gardens were great and we finished up on a tour right around the island. Cant believe we fitted it all in but it was fantastic value. We spoke with some of the other passengers on our cruise that went with other operators and they were so jealous! Would recommend absolutely Mauruuru again Tau.

My wife and I enjoyed a once in a lifetime opportunity to snorkel among sharks, sting rays, and a variety of beautiful fishes in both the deep water and coral gardens. Our experience was highlighted by Toto's welcoming and cheerful personality. He made our honeymoon an unforgettable time.

We booked a private half day because we would be traveling with our two year old and didn't want to disturb others if he acted up. We got so lucky to get Ronny as our guide and not only did he show us great sights and animals, explain the island, feed and entertain us, but he was AMAZING with our toddler! Thank you for spending the time to find a Manta for us to snorkel with and intruding our son to Juliette the string ray!

The private snorkeling experience exceeded our expectations! Our guide and boat captain, Aro, was extremely personable and professional. He told us all about the island of Bora Bora and the culture. He took us to some fantastic spots where we swam with beautiful fish, rays, and sharks. He swam with us at the first spot, attracting the fish, and pointing out a seahorse and other beautiful marine life. He also offered us a nice snack and serenaded us on the boat.

Our family of 5 (3 teen girls) did the private snorkel lagoon tour with Aro last week. It was a highlight of our time in Bora Bora. We saw the entire island, stopped for snorkeling with sharks, rays, beautiful fish. It’s absolutely safe and the best way to see that the island is just as stunning under water. Our guide, Aro, was so generous in sharing his love and connection with the island. He even taught us how to spot little seahorses that we were able to find the way of our trip. And the boat is clean, comfortable and fun! When we return to Bora Bora we will do the exact same tour.

Perfect experience with Nick. We saw Manta Rays, Sting Rays, Black Tip Reef Sharks and beautiful fish in the coral garden. Nick played the ukulele and sang for us. We felt safe and not pressured at all.

This our third time using Lagoon Services and they never fail to give one of the best days on our trip. On this trip we had Coco again as our driver/guide and was just as friendly and nice as the last time in 2019. Despite it being an unusually windy day he found us great spots for snorkeling. The snorkeling experience with Mike and Tama was amazing!!! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and took us to see exactly what we asked for. We saw eagle rays, black tip sharks, sting rays, and a ton of fish, plus the amazing coral garden. The boat was smooth, the views were amazing, and the singing and ukulele/drums made the trip very special. We did a private tour and it was worth every penny! I highly recommend this experience!

Pros : Fabulous half day tour, our guide Niko was very friendly and funny. We weren’t his customers, we were his team. Took us to three different locations. Cons: first stop were told it was chest deep, maybe if you are 6ft 6in, and with the current it was quite difficult ( nigh on impossible to stand up). Otherwise it was what you would have expected. One word of advice, make sure you are covered up, if there is no cloud cover you WILL get sunburn. Thanks again to Niko

The half-day snorkel trip was excellent. We saw stingrays, reef sharks (at two locations), several manta rays, and beautiful coral at the coral gardens. Coco was a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this excursion.

Our excellent guide/captain Mana really went the extra mile to create a wonderful experience. Really good snorkeling, got the chance to hug a sting ray and swam with black tip reef sharks. We also learned a lot about Bora Bora and it was nice to go around the whole island. On top, we got 30 min more than expected. Thank you, Mana!

We went for the half day private tour as we have a 2yr old. The tour was definitely a highlight of our entire trip. Our guide Mana was exceptional. Helped us to tailor our tour to the best of our needs. Wish we could come back again soon!

My wife and I were recently in Bora Bora celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary. We had been talking about swimming with sharks for as long as we have been together and Lagoon Service helped to make it happen. We booked a private half day shark/ray/coral garden snorkling tour through the St. Regis Bora Bora and had such an amazing time. The day of our tour saw rain and wind which actually worked to our advantage. For the first stop, we were the only boat for miles and had the full attention of over a dozen black tip reef sharks in crystal clear waters. We were able to capture some amazing video with our GoPro. It was peaceful and I felt completely safe. About 45 mintues in, a sister boat showed up. Our tour guide joked with that boat saying he started the shark tour with ten people but was now down to two. My wife and I thought it was hilarious. At the second stop, there were 3 photogenic stingrays and more sharks. Our guide got in the water with us and let us hold one of the females named Gigi. The last stop was the coral gardens which was absolutely breathtaking. You literally navigate your way through a labrinth of some of the most amazing coral structures teeming with sea life. A huge thank you to Lagoon Service for the tour and hospitality.

Of all the things we will remember most about our stay in Bora Bora, it will be the snorkeling tour and the sunset tour that we took with Lagoon Service. Both were simply outstanding experiences with local guides (thank you thank you, Vatea and Coco, respectively) who were so warm and friendly and eager to share their knowledge of the island and its reefs as well as the local culture. We were serenaded with ukulele and singing as we moved from spot to spot for the snorkeling tour, and guided expertly in the waters. Vatea also customized our private snorkeling tour to accommodate our personal interests and brought the biggest smiles of our trip. Coco and his pilot serenaded on ukulele and drum and made a perfect sunset even more of a perfect experience. The boats are beautiful and clean, the snacks served were wonderful, and the warmth of all our interactions was genuine. Both of our experiences were private tours. Consider making at least one excursion in Bora Bora a private one with Lagoon Services — ours were unforgettable and magical.

My husband and I had the absolute best time on this tour with BIG MIKE! We left the Four Seasons picked up by Mike and his super comfortable boat in the morning. Even though the waters were slightly rocky, the boat was super smooth and comofrtable. We had a beautiful and amazing snorkle experience seeing the most exotic fish! We then went to see the sharks and stingray in crystal blue water. The little snack on the water was also so lovely. We had a great time seeing sharks, the coral reef and Sting Rays with Captain Mike. The day started out a bit rainy, but Mike adjusted the itinerary to find dry spots with many sharks and sting rays. He was very friendly and the whole family had a great time. Than kyou

My wife and I had an amazing time on the snorkeling cruise. We stopped at three great destinations. Our first stop was a shallow area where manta rays and black tip sharks were hanging out. It was great to see them up close. The second stop was a beautiful reef area. I'm glad that we arrived early because it got crowded after a while. The last stop was a beautiful coral garden. Our guide's name was Aro. He was an amazing guide. He remembered every passengers name. I think that there were about 10 or 12 people on the boat so it's not easy to remember that many names. He had a great personality, he taught us a lot about the island, he made sure that everyone had a good time and he really did a great job of showing us around the reefs. He also sang and played the ukulele. He was truly entertaining. I hope that he is around whenever we go back to Bora Bora because he was amazing.

Captain Mike was amazing. I was very nervous about snorkeling and he had so much patience with me and kept me calm. After a few minutes I was able to enjoy the most beautiful coral reef. I have never seen so much color and life under water. I don’t think I have the right words to describe what we saw at the coral reef. It was one of the most unforgettable experiences. Captain Mike also took us to swim with the blacktip sharks and see a few very friendly sting rays. We witnessed first hand how Tahitian people have a strong connection with all the creatures of the sea. The whole experience was amazing and highly recommended. Bonus is that Captain Mike has one of the most amazing voices and we got to hear some of the songs in his native tongue. We also had captain Mike for Stargazing experience and that has left us speechless. Breathtaking skies here.

One of the highlights of our stay in Bora Bora was visiting the coral forests and seeing the amazing fish with Lagoon Service and getting to know our guide Tau. We absolutely recommend booking the private snorkel tour. It’s a little more expensive but you get to see exactly what you want to see, for however long you want, without worrying about other people in your group. Tau is a philosopher and provided us with interesting and enjoyable conversation. The half day flew by! When we come back next year, we’re going to book a full day private snorkeling tour and a stargazing / storytelling tour because we definitely were interested in getting more of a cultural tour. Bora Bora is heaven on earth and having the right guides to show you around is essential.

A great half day trip with Ramon, who is fantastic entertainment and a great guide. Snorkeled with black tip reef sharks, interacted with stingrays and enjoyed the coral garden snorkeling. The trip was just long enough and also went around the entire Bora Bora island so you can see all the resorts on the way. Highly recommend this trip.

We have done many snorkeling activities over the years all over the world (Hawaii, Carribean, Mexico, etc). This one was by far the best experience. Maybe because we chose to go on a private tour. We were able to tailor the experience the way we wanted. We spent as much time as we wanted at each spot. The stingrays were magnificent. The shark swimming was amazing. Swimming in the deep blue sea with about 30 to 40 sharks swimming all around you was surreal. And the water was so crystal clear. Because we did it private and later in the day, there were no other people here. Supposedly normally there’s about 40 to 50 other people in the water with you. We were the only ones swimming amongst all the sharks. Then when we went to the special snorkeling site, that place was literally like an aquarium. So many tropical fish everywhere. Also again, because we went later in the day, he practically had the whole place to ourselves. Normally there are 50 to 60 people here at a given time. It was a snorkeling paradise. However the best part of the tour was our guide, Manu. He was amazing. Very entertaining and funny. Very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. One of the best tour guides we’ve EVER had in all of our travels.

Our group did both a half day private shark and ray snorkeling experience, as well as a private sunset cruise and motu dinner. Arrow (sp?) was our guide for both, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He came in the water with us, was so engaging, knowledgeable, and proud of his land; and we loved every minute of our experience. If you are considering booking an excursion, don't hesitate to do so. And request Arrow!!

We went out with Eros (sp?) of Lagoon Service last Sunday and the experience was absolutely fantastic! This was the third snorkel trip we took in a week but Lagoon Service was by far the best of the 3 companies. Eros was fun and super responsive to our requests. He shared his knowledge of the land, water and Tahitian culture. The boat was roomie and comfortable. Plus they gave us a wonderful traditional array of food including local cake, pineapple, fresh coconut, grapefruit and bananas. Yum! We highly recommend Lagoon Service and Eros if you're looking to snorkel while in Bora Bora.

Just finished our private half day excursion with our guide Tau. We are a family of 4 with two young children. Tau was extremely informative, helpful and accommodating. He made us feel very comfortable in the water, especially the children who were a little hesitant. We had an amazing time exploring the Island and everything French Polynesian culture has to offer. We will gladly use this service again and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to experience the beautiful lagoon.

We did a private snorkeling tour with guide Arro (hopefully that spelling is correct). Both the boat and Arro were absolutely amazing. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun!! We stop at four places which included seeing Manta Rays, Black Tip reef sharks, a corral garden with plentiful species and sting rays, which he handled like puppies. It was great to see. Topped off with a little fruit snack at the end. We definitely would do it again and can highly recommend the tour and our guide!

Picked us up at our hotel, had drinks, snacks, towels, and snorkeling gear ready to go. We were able to get in and play with the sting rays. Going to were the black tip reef sharks were was awesome. Probably 30 sharks all around us. Went to the coral garden too. He also made a special stop to find the manta ray. Was just an awesome day in the lagoon. We worth it if you enjoy snorkeling or just want to get away from your hut!

Had an awesome time snorkeling and exploring the lagoon. Our guide Rai was very knowledgeable of the area and played the ukulele and sang for us which added to the experience.

This was the best experience with the best guide. He even sang Hawaiian music while we boated around. we found amazing shells whitr snorkeling and so swam with Lemon and Other sharks. Amazing experience.

Excellent time spent with Tao who made us discover two beautiful spots in Bora Bora , the aquarium and the coral garden. It was magical. He was very attentive to our comfort in the water and on the boat. Made us snorkel safely and allowed us to swim among many fish of all colors. We also saw a huge mureine that he brought out of his cache. The visit of the coral garden enchanted us with all its colors and a preserved environment. We went around the island with interesting explanations about the specificities of the island of Bora Bora . It was an amazing afternoon! We recommend!

Excellent half day with Coco (and Ramon on the other canoe). Too bad we couldn't do the whole day... I recommend this excursion and will talk about it around me! I really want to come back next April! Mauruuru roa!
