Half Day Eco Snorkeling Small Group Tour In Bora Bora

The snorkeling was the best we’ve ever done. Our crew Nui and Manx were great. They were knowledgeable and helpful. It was a rough day in the water and they helped me feel comfortable and guided me. It made the trip remarkable. We saw Manta Ray, Black tip sharks, Sting rays, unbelievable coral reefs and fish. Exceeded out expectations. Shout out again to Nui and Manx.

It was a great tour! The captain and his mate went out of their way to make sure we saw lots of underwater wild life. We saw Dolphins, Manta Ray, Eagle Rays, & swam with the Sting Rays and Black Tip Sharks! The adventure ended with our captain and his mate playing the Ukulele and drum, singing and snorkeling in the beautiful Coral Gardens where we saw lots of fish!

Fantastic morning with Nui and Hau. Organisation and communication was great. They arrived on time at the meeting point in a very comfortable and beautifully turned out boat. We were looked after so well. Care was taken to make sure we felt confident and safe in the water. We were amazed by what we saw…from swimming with manta rays to beautiful fish in the coral gardens, black tip sharks and sting rays. Nui was very knowledgeable about the area and its wild life. He explained everything very well. Fruit, cake, drinks and snacks were provided at the end of the trip and we were dropped back at the dock ready to take our tender back to our cruise ship. Thank you Bora Bora Activities, and Nui & Hau, for a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend 😀

Absolutely loved this half day tour - the coral and fish were so incredibly beautiful, we also swam with reef sharks, manta rays, sting rays and saw a bunch of dolphins alongside our boat as well! Mo the guide was excellent - couldn’t have been any better. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

This half-day snorkeling tour was so much fun. We saw all kinds of stingrays, including a manta ray, which was crazy! We also saw dolphins, swam with sharks and rays, and got to check out a coral area that was so beautiful. Mo was our guide, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was funny, sweet, and great at what he does, and he even played the ukulele and sang to us in between all the amazing stops. Highly recommend. This was one of our favorite things we did in Bora Bora!

Wonderful excursion! We saw 8 large manta rays, a school of over 50 eagle rays, a black tipped reef shark and beautiful coral and fish! Wonderful morning.

Unbelievable tour. When we come back to Bora Bora we will use them again. They were a ton of fun & put us on some incredible experiences. We saw 15 Manta Ray, 12 eagle Ray, beautiful coral gardens, & sharks/stingrays to finish. It is a must do trip for anyone heading to Bora Bora.

We had a wonderful morning on the water. Mo and team did a fantastic job taking us all around the island to amazing spots to see fish, sharks, mantas, rays, and even a pod of dolphins! This was one of our favorite highlights of our trip. Bonus is Mo’s ukulele to liven up the time between spots.

The guide is very nice! I am a non-swimmer and the guide is helping me with a life ring to swim and see these beautiful creatures! We saw manta rays, sharks, stingy rays and coral garden. We also saw many dolphins from the boat.

One of the best snorkeling experiences ever. Mo and our captain were outstanding and we genuinely enjoyed the morning even more because of their friendliness, sharing info about Tahiti and Mo’s ukulele entertainment while we went from site to site. The coral gardens were breathtakingly beautiful. And seeing eagle rays, manta rays, black tip sharks and stingrays rays was really great too. Highly recommend Mo and this tour.

My wife and I did the half day snorkel tour with Manu and Mannux. Great guides and very helpful. I’m not the strongest swimmer and Manu was able to help with guiding me. Will definitely book with BBAC again when we return

This is our second activity with this company. Mana and Mannux were our guides and were great. Highly recommend and will book with them again when we return to Bora Bora.

I booked this experience and was so excited to go. Even after confirming with them the day before, “I missed the boat”! They told me pickup was at 8:00 at my hotel. They arrived, looked for me, texted and called. I did’t see any of those until after breakfast. I called and there was nothing they could do. They had a full boat and a schedule. They did offer a tour the next day, but we where leaving:( It is written that this could happen. I was told with the pick up confirmation. I am fully responsible and want to share my experience so others don’t make the same mistake! This is a great company and I hope to return and take that excursion!

My wife and I have been to Bora Bora three times now and have done excursions each trip. This was by far the best experience we’ve had so far. Mo and Manax were both amazing, not only sharing their knowledge of the island, but more importantly, its history and culture. We got to see a sea turtle, two manta rays, black tips, and stingrays. However, the highlight of the trip was seeing a juvenile hammerhead swimming in the lagoon…a rare sighting that neither Mo nor Manax had seen before. This was especially memorable for me, as I have a hammerhead (ma’o hāmara), manta ray (fāfā piti), and turtle (honu) tattoo …in one day I was able to see all the animals that have special meaning to me in my tattoo. We will come back to Bora Bora again, and will without a doubt use Bora Bora Activities Center for any excursions we do! P.S. thank you Mo and Manax for letting me practice my Tahitian with you both! Fabulous morning snorkelling with Mo, accompanied by his ukulele! Saw manta rays , eagle rays, coral garden, sharks and stingrays. Friendly guide and captain, incredible experiences , and highly recommend!

My husband and I love snorkling and were very pleased with this 3 hours tour. We made 3 stops: at the cleaning station for manta rays, at a pass for black tip sharks, and at a beautiful coral garden. Our guide Mo and captain Mana were mindful about safety, respect of marine life and preservation of the stunning ecosystem.

We went on this tour today and it was AMAZING! Manu, the tour guide, and Manax, the boat driver were fantastic. Manu was such an incredible guide, he has a great sense of humour and he’s so clear and organised. We did four stops - one to see manta rays, one to see a beautiful coral reef then a stop to see eagle rays and finally reef sharks. They were all incredible and Manu was so great at knowing how long to spend at each stop - there weren’t many eagle rays the day we went so we moved on quickly and I think we had more time at the shark spot as a result. He also brought his aunt’s lovely home made cake for us all to try. We went on a very disappointing whale watching tour the day before which was so chaotic, with very poor communication and this tour luckily made up for it. Thanks again team! Fran and Fred

We had a wonderful half day with Manu and Nui going to four different snorkel locations in Bora Bora. We saw rays, sharks and snorkeled through the amazing coral garden. I really appreciated how careful Manu was with everyone's safety, always checking to be sure we were with him, and even taking us with the flotation ring through rougher waters. He was so patient and kind, and funny! He amused us with stories and shared interesting facts about Bora Bora throughout. We enjoyed a delicious snack while on board as well. Thank you Manu and Nui! Great snorkeling experience thanks to our friendly guide, Momo! We got to see manta rays, blacktip reef sharks, and stingrays up close. The water time felt a bit rushed because the rest of the group wanted to end early, and we were back at our accommodation by 11:30 AM. Although we wished we could have stayed in the water longer, Momo made sure we had a fantastic and fun trip.

THIS IS A MUST DO ACTIVITY ON BORA BORA. Every stop that we made honestly felt like a different bucket list item getting checked off our list. On our first stop we swam with Manta Rays followed by Reef Sharks and String rays on our second stop. We saw over a dozen Eagle Rays on our third stop and finished with a fish filled coral garden on our fourth stop. As an added bonus our guide Mo and Captain Nui found a school of dolphin along the way and stopped to allow us to take pictures and videos. The dolphins even swam alongside the boat. It felt like it was right out of a movie. Both Mo and Nui made the trip extremely enjoyable. While Nui safely got us to each location Mo either was teaching us about Bora Bora history or serenading us with his ukulele. 10 out of 10 would recommend. NOTE: For the majority of stops on the tour, you are treading water which gets pretty tiring. If you are not the strongest swimmer I recommend doing the half day instead of the full. However, Mo did offer us life vests which I appreciated even though they were not needed. Additionally they provide all the equipment necessary such as a mask, snorkel, and fins.

We went on a half day tour with Manu and Mana. First off the snorkeling was magical. We had never seen Manta Rey, Eagle Rey, Turtles, Sharks, iridescent coral garden. However- it was made a complete experience by the humanity and friendliness of the guides. They treated us like family, joked, and told stories. They even swam on behalf of the guests who were not strong swimmers.

We had a great time snorkeling this morning with Manu and Mata. While we weren’t successful seeing mantas at the first stop, we were at the second. On the way to the shark spot we saw a large pod of dolphins. At the shark spot itself, there must have been 15-20 reef sharks swimming around in deep, very clear water. Quite a different experience to seeing them in shallow water as you do in Moorea.

It was a great half day snorkel with amazing guides thank you Manu and Tea they were very friendly and got us into pretty sweet spots! We also got an extra view of some dolphins! Emma and Hunter

Great experience. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Good tour experience from start to finish. Unfortunately the weather didn’t really cooperate and was a bit miserable. The the experience was still amazing. A definite “would do again” .

Great snorkeling trip. We saw 2 manta rays (a few minutes after leaving the dock), several friendly stingrays, lots of needlefish and blacktip sharks, and a corporate lawyer. Our English/French bilingual guide (Chad) was capable and entertaining, providing jokes and songs in multiple languages with ukulele accompaniment. (This is his day job, he seems to also be a semi-pro touring musician.) Eagle rays are elusive, and you might have a better chance of seeing them if you book the full-day tour.

What an amazing day with Mo and Tea! From start to finish, they made us feel like family — warm, funny, and truly passionate about Bora Bora. Mo's explanations about the lagoon and Polynesian culture were fascinating, and Tea's hospitality was second to none: attentive, smiling, and always making sure everyone was safe and having fun. And then… the Coral Garden. Wow. 🐠 A living underwater paradise — vibrant colors, tropical fish everywhere, and coral formations straight out of a dream. Absolutely breathtaking. What an amazing experience, we cruised through incredibly blue water, snorkeled and saw 4 manta rays, explored the coral reef, and even swam with sharks in both shallow and deep waters. And then there were our guides, Ari and Manu, LEGENDS! It felt like hanging out with friends rather than being on a tour: super nice, attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, and fun! They always took care of us, they alwats made sure we were having a good tine and we were safe, they even sang songs and offered us food and snacks. The team at the Activity center are great, on the snorkeling tour we saw the mantrarays, eagle rays, stingray and sharks, the boat was clean and tidy and well equipped. I highly recommend this trip.

We've done snorkeling with Bora bora activities center and it was simply the best ! this is my third time in bora bora and first time for my husband and believe me i've done plenty of activities and this one was by far the best !We swam with sharks,sting rays and manta rays... Strong currents at the mantas stop so be prepared to swim. Bora Bora has the best snorkeling places...They provide snorkeling equipment and fins as well. Nice and spacious boat too. A special thank you to Manu, who was just amazing. His sense of humor and depth passion made the experience so enjoyable, from the beginning when Manu greeted us we knew we are going to have a great day. His hospitality, personal care for each of us and knowledge exceeded our expectations.He made sure everybody was having a good time, such a nice host. It was just amazing, we even had a snacking with local juice and coconut bread at the end while Manu was playing ukulele- a real treat... Manu is just comedy gold and so friendly ! It was a very smooth and enjoyable experience! Don’t listen to the cruise people that don’t want you to hire people outside their company. They confirmed the trip with time , even sent us a picture of the boat …looked for us at the port and took us at the most incredible places in Bora Bora to snorkel. I was surprised at the beginning because I couldn't breathe with my equipment , they were such professionals that they never left me alone . They made sure I received a good pair of snorkel so I could enjoy the trip , and that changed the experience considerably. I would advise anybody to hire them without thinking it twice !

A great day! We got to swim with sharks, mantarays and stingrays. The guides were very friendly and very mindful of H&S and everyone’s swimming capabilities. Would recommend to everyone, we loved it.

Terrific experience. Mo was a great and fun guide. All stops were in the lagoon, and you do circle the whole island for different views. When choosing an excursion, figure out your priorities (I had two days and did two excursions). All of them do the stingray/shark stop that is cool (everything gets so close in those shallows— bring underwater camera), a snorkel spot, AND this one started with a stop at a cleaning station where we spotted a manta ray (not all tours in Bora Bora off this stop). Highly recommend! FYI: Picked up at cruise tender spot for brief drive (boat dropped off after tour.)

Our guide was amazing. We had so much fun with him. He was extremely knowledgeable. We stopped at three different spots. Swam with manta rays at one then moved to swim with rays and sharks and the final spot had is snorkeling. The pick up and drop off to port was smooth.

You should bring water shoes as the second stop is on a sandbar with coral and shells. They do provide fins, masks and even towels and a light snack with juice and water. Very professional and gregarious and a great experience
