Half-day Bora Bora Experience With Fruits On Motu Fanfan

This is an amazing half-day experience! Our guide and captain picked us up from our hotel and took us to the best spots to see manta rays, turtles, the coral garden teeming with fish, touring beautiful locations on the island, stopping to see eagle rays, reef sharks, and the to a remote motu for fresh fruit and unbelievable scenery. They were kind and patient with us because we were having technical difficulties with equipment. Note: if you have your own equipment and it works for you, bring it along. Thankful for this experience and would highly recommend!

So much great stuff packed into one tour. Swim with mata rays, porpoise citing, swim with sharks, swim with sting rays, guided snorkel, powder beach and relax beach. Tuhu and Tori were the best hosts. Funny, informative and best of all was their native singing. Best cruise ever. Don't miss.

Superb snorkeling experience at three locations in the Bora Bora lagoon. Expertly led by our able captain Tuhiti of Maru Lagoon Excursion, we visited a coral reef teeming with dozens of varieties of tropical fish, a shallow sandbank where you can swim with sharks and rays, and finally a channel with foraging manta rays. Only 5 guests in our group. All had fun. Casual atmosphere, but safety focused.

Drive in boat is awfully fast in relatively shallow water so be prepared for very bumpy rides. Saw manta, eagle and stingrays along with harmless sharks, various fish and beautiful coral garden near the reef. Mahruru, Kris!

This was just see best outing of our entire holiday. Our two hosts - captain and dive master - were so lovely, friendly, and welcoming. There was one nervous swimmer in our group and the boys were so sweet and kind with her. We saw many coloured fish while snorkelling, then went to see rays, then swam with sharks, and to see giant manta. Great trip!

We went to three different spot. Love the coral garden and the place to see shark. The tour guides are very funny and taking care of everyone in the tour. They are full of energy and enthusiasm!

INCREDIBLE day on the water in bora bora! We stopped at about 5 different snorkel spots seeing incredible coral, manta rays, eagle rays, stingrays & sharks. One of the best snorkeling trips we’ve ever done. Ended at a beautiful Motu island!! Our boat captain Maui was AMAZING!

We booked this trip for our honeymoon after debating whether we should while in Bora Bora (as accommodation is quite pricey we wondered whether it was worth even leaving the resort), but we're so glad we did! Seeing the lagoon from the water is a MUST, nothing prepares you for the different shades of blue and incredible amount of wildlife that you'll see. We made 5 stops, the first stop as soon as we got in the water were faced with a manta ray, with a 3.5/4m wingspan right below us- this was breathtaking. At the second stop we were guided through a coral garden, seeing so many fish & vast amounts of beautiful coral reef. We later made a stop which seemed far out to sea, but the water was only waist high - here we swam with countless black tip reef sharks and sting rays (there were many tour operators and locals here grabbing sharks and rays - this is NOT allowed and was discouraged by our guide Chris). This was an incredible life experience and the sea-life were so majestic. We made a fourth stop where we swam above a group of eagle rays, again so surreal. The final stop was on a small motu where we got to explore a very small remote island and take in the views of Mount Otemanu. Chris was a fabulous guide, so knowledgable with great English and a real passion for the island and lagoon.

This was such a fun day on and in the water! Bora bora is incredible for snorkelling & these guys took our group to three amazing spots where we saw beautiful coral & sealife, then we sat on a stunningly beautiful private island and ate tropical fruits - heaven! We had fantastic weather & I thought I was careful to re-apply sunscreen but still got burnt - in retrospect I should have worn my rash shirt to stop the burn. Pick up & drop off by boat from just near our Airbnb was much appreciated (and fun) too. Thanks!

Fantastic 4 hour adventure zipping around the island. We saw eagle rays, 7 manta rays, an eel, sharks and a bunch of fishes. Tuhiti our guide was awesome! He would sing songs when driving, and even hop in the water with us to help point out special things (he danced with the eel). He also stopped spontaneously to tell us facts about the island or if more rays would spring up. Rather than sticking to a rigid tour, Hiti was flexible and always kept an eye out to find things. Would recommend this tour and Tuhiti even more as the guide!!

Wonderful experience: incredible guide Maoi, funny, knows well were to spot mantas, eagle raies, sharks and sting raie. We started with the coral garden and stopped at 5 more stops (manta that Maoi had seen from the boat, eagle raies, sharks and sting raie pool, manta point and a ‘spa / scrub’) We went to the motu to have some very good fruits and listen to the songs and music from the people of the motu and then back to the hotel. We were a small group of people (8) and the boat was very efficient and comfortable. Everything was perfect !!! Well done Maoi and everyone organising this trip.

Our guide, Chris, was one of the most experienced boat drivers I have encountered. The waters around Bora Bora deem challenging to navigate because there are so many shallow areas with rocks. And he knew all the best places to find Manta Rays, sharks (non-man eaters!) and coral. The coral area had a lot of fish. Some of the areas there had coral pretty much up to the surface. I must admit that I got lost from our group and found myself stranded in an area surrounded by coral at the surface. But Chris came back with a life preserver and pulled me out of there! Thank you Chris!

Fun day out snorkeling, we saw amazing fish and traveled around the island. Be aware if you are a weak swimmer or have a bad back. This might not be for you. We stayed for lunch which turned our half day into a full day. Was well worth it for the lovely stop on the beach.

Such an amazing snorkeling experience! I received a call to verify my reservation and our guide, Geff, was on time to pick us up at our resort. Geff was friendly, attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. He had a great vibe!We learned so much about Bora Bora’s marine life and Haitian culture. We saw a giant gentle manta ray, stingrays, reef sharks, dolphins, and many tropical fish. The the coral garden was beautiful. I would recommend that you bring your own snorkel gear, including the fins, if they’re available to you. And also recommend an underwater camera. Bottle water was available, but we did not get to the fruit which was fine for us. We didn’t need it. But just in case you are expecting that, you might want to ask. Highly recommend this tour. Four hours was more than enough. 🙏🏼

The Best Experience in Bora Bora – Worth Every Penny! Our tour with Bora Bora Manu Lagoon was, without a doubt, the highlight of our entire trip to French Polynesia. We spent the day with Chris and his son, and they were absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, you could see how passionate they are about what they do and how much they genuinely care about their guests. Their boat was in excellent condition, they gave a thorough safety briefing, and throughout the day they constantly made sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and enjoying every moment. What really stood out was how they adapted the experience to make it special for everyone. They were friendly, funny, professional, and created such a relaxed atmosphere that it felt like spending the day with friends. We were incredibly lucky to see stingrays, blacktip reef sharks, and even dolphins, but what impressed us most was the respect they showed towards the animals and the environment. There was never any pressure or irresponsible behaviour—everything was done with care and appreciation for nature. This was, without question, the best money we spent on our entire trip, and it created memories that we will never forget. You will see manta rays and eagle rays and visit the Coral Gardens and swim with sharks. Finally a great motu experience with fruit and juice. Not only that but a fabulous guide and all in about 5 hours.

Best tour of the Bora Bora. Chris did a great job. He took us to 4 different spots for sharks, manta rays, coral, etc.

The snorkeling itself was great. Pre trip coordinator was great. Boat captain had poor communication skills and tried to act friendly but was not genuine and you can tell he doesn’t care. I had a much better experience several years ago. His customer service skills are lacking. Not that anyone will read this. I tipped only because I didn’t want to be stranded when there was no one to pick us up. I think his name was Maui but not sure. It’s bora bora so I’m sure this doesn’t matter but customer service goes a long way. I felt like an inconvenience

Amazing way to explore the island and its treasures. No rush. We saw everything with the time we needed. And our guide was just the best! Thank you so much “Papi” (=grandfather)

We had two snorkel excursions booked during our trip, and both were great — it's Bora Bora, after all. But Manu Lagoon Excursion was on another level. The boat was pristine, well-equipped, and the itinerary packed in more wildlife than we expected. In a half-day we saw manta rays up close, a colorful coral garden full of fish, a family of seahorses, puffer fish, over a dozen eagle rays, sharks, and stingrays. Good variety, well paced, never rushed. The last stop was our favorite: a swim to a relaxed beachside spot with shady tables, loungers, and hammocks. Very local, very unhurried. The kids spent an hour in the crystal-clear water and made friends including a local stingray passing through . Our guide Christ brought an assortment of refreshing fruit including fresh mangos he'd picked from his grove that morning. Simple but memorable. Oh — and my daughter is still talking about the two puppies. Worth booking.

We had an awesome half-day snorkelling with Bora Bora Manu Manu Lagoon Excursion. Chris our guide was very informative and narrated in both English and French. First we saw the biggest Manta Ray with about a 3m wingspan, the second stop was in waist-deep water with Reef Sharks and Stingrays, then onto deeper water where we saw a school of around 40 Eagle Rays. After that we visited the Coral Garden with incredibly coloured coral and fish. Thank you for a great day out.

These guys are the best! Entertaining, knowledgeable and just all round great humans! Our guides - Jeff, Ramin(sits) and Ta’Haiti (I’m hoping that is correctly spelt) were just the greatest. We saw lots of manta rays, sharks, experienced the most unreal motu - ir was like we were in a postcard! The only negative is I wish we booked the full day! I really don’t want to go back!!!!

Our captain stopped at so many places, and gave us a tour around the Island. Last stop was a Motu for fresh fruit before taking us to the main island where he had a taxi waiting for us (no additional charges). We swam with Manta Rays, stopped to see the dolphins, swam with eagle rays, then the shark stop. Last was the coral garden, best in Bora Bora. We did two other excursions in Bora Bora and neither were as good as this tour. Really got our money's worth.

This was a fabulous trip! Informative tour of the entire lagoon and amazing snorkeling opportunities…Captain Mana was skilled with the boat and photo opportunities! Guide Jeff (Jefe) was enthusiastic and entertaining and offered a glimpse into family life in Bora Bora!

The guide, Hero, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The boat was not too full so we had enough room to be comfortable. The snorkel areas he took us to were wonderful! Overall a wonderful day!

My experience this tour was pretty good! I am not the best swimmer and the guid gave me some help! The guid was nice and funny! The tour and the animals are so beautiful!

Excursion to do here in Bora Bora. We saw rays, blacktip reef sharks, as well as manta rays, just incredible. A good atmosphere with the guides despite the bad weather at times; they knew how to turn it into wonderful memories. We had an absolutely wonderful time on this half day tour, discovering the Lagoon. The boat was new, very comfortable and modern. Our captain and guide Christ was great, with exciting explanations that enriched the whole experience. Very patient, he knew how to reassure us and accompany us best in the lagoon. A lot of emotion during the encounter with leopard rays, pastenagues and sharks, a magical moment we will never forget. An open-air aquarium, and the lagoon is incredibly beautiful. Small relaxing break on the motu fanfan but we are happy not to have booked for the full day, the afternoon on the motu would have been long. Snorkeling stops were made on incredible spots, of breathtaking beauty. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you!

The lagoon is amazing, the boat modern and safe, the 3 types of rays and sharks were waiting for us as well as a great spot of super colorful cores and fish. And then there is Christ, available, funny and very helpful for people moderately comfortable in the water, thanks to him who is for a lot in the success of this outing
