Great experience with our guide Manu! They took us to snorkel with sting rays, black tip sharks, eagle rays and then to a coral garden, followed by a delicious Polynesian lunch with chicken, fish, salad, fruit and veggies.

Guide made sure i saw a manta ray and swimming with all the bat rays was great. Snorkeling at the Coral gardens was amazing and later we stopped for lunch at a private motoluwhich was very tasty. They showed us how to open a coconut and had some fresh coconut. Got to also explore the other side of the motu.

Our guides were very friendly, took care of us, were patient, and explained everything. They were excellent communicators and we were able to see everything it says on the booking info. It was incredible. Lunch on the private motu was also delicious.

Despite the weather, we had an excellent day, professional, and friendly team, the different spots are not too crowded and can be easy to access, lunch very good, and good vibe. Thank you

A fun day with plenty of time in the water. This day is completed on island time, so plan for this to take up most of your day 6+hours. I had a great day out on the boat the crew were amazing.

This was a wonderful day from start to finish...made even better by our two hosts Manon and Arrie (i suspect I have screwed up that spelling but they will know it was me) they were the best ive ever had, nothing was too much bother and they went out of their way to help us and provide the best day ever....we saw Manta rays, eagle rays, loads of sharks and stingrays plus the best coral reef ive ever snorkelled on

It was okay. We did see all that was promised, though it seemed like the sea life had been groomed to be at a certain place. We booked a tour that indicated the language was English. 10 people total on the tour, 4 French speaking, 6 English. Most of the commentary was given in French. I had done the same tour before and the guides were very concerned about your safety. These guides didn’t pay much attention.

One of the best snorkeling adventures we’ve ever taken. Swimming alongside manta rays, eagle rays, stingrays, and sharks and exploring pristine coral gardens was pure magic. Our guide was fantastic—informative, safety-conscious, and kept the vibes high the entire time. A must-do tour for anyone visiting the area.

It’s an action packed day full of many sights with guides that are knowledgeable and fun. Great food prepared by islander and lots of swimming and sightseeing.

We had an incredible day with Manu and Ari, and they really do make this tour what it is. We snorkelled with black-tip sharks, stingrays, eagle rays and manta rays, and also went to a coral garden, meaning there were 4 snorkelling spots in total. All of them were beautiful. But it is the guides who makes this tour what it is. Their energy is infectious and they are genuinely the best tour guides we have ever had. I would do the tour again just to be around them and their energy. The lunch on a Motu was the best meal I have had in French Polynesia, and it was here that they also showed us how to peel a coconut, another experience that was delivered with joy and laughter. I cannot recommend these guys enough and crossing the lagoon with them singing to us will remain etched in our memories for a very long time.

Snorkeled in 4 different places seeing manta rays, stingrays and black tip reef sharks. Great experience and honestly seeing the colorful blue waters was so incredible and riding a boat through the lagoon was just amazing. Our guides were great and made the day fun! Food at lunch was also very good. Do this excursion.

Tour guides are very nice and helpful. We saw sharks, not many stingrays, only three. Overall enjoyed the tour.

This snorkel tour of Bora bora was amazing. We had 4 stops, we saw Eagle rays, stingrays, manta rays, we also saw coral gardens. And then we saw and tasted green coconuts and ripe coconuts and had an amazing delicious lunch. Also I dropped my GoPro camera in the ocean and it drowned and Arai was looking for it and dove for it and got it for me, which was beyond amazing. He left me a memorable video on my camera. All that to say, you guys should definitely book this tour company for your snorkel tour of the Bora bora Island and lagoon! I have too many videos of this memorable tour to post but I'll try my best. Mauruuru Rai, family, and Arai. I'm sorry i spelled the names wrong most likely. We took videos more than photos.

Our guide was very good and took us to a great spot just inside the reef where the rays and sharks know to expect swimmers and touches by the guides. The black tips were about 5-6 feet long and swam by but were not aggressive like their cousins just outside the reef. The rays seemed to play by swimming through peoples legs. A mask and a snorkel were needed to look underwater, but it was shallow enough that you could easily tread water without fins on. The sights from the boat were nice and the guide narrated about the locations. A floating tray of drinks and fresh fruits was provided at the second location where there were more rays, but no sharks.

This company goes out of their way to accommodate you. We changed our plans twice and they were wonderful. The tour was amazing. We saw all kinds of rays, black tip reef sharks and beautiful coral gardens. I can’t say enough good things about them. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Wonderful experience with Manu and Ari on half day lagoon tour! From the beginning of the tour guides explained all we needed to know. During the entire trip they took care of us. Nice snorkelling spots and a delicious lunch!

This snorkeling trip was so well run. We were picked up at the pier after tendering from our ship. We went to 3 snorkeling areas and each one was very different. Our two guides were patient, helpful, cheerful, and on their game for the whole day. We saw manta rays at the first snorkeling site, snorkeled with sharks and rays at the second, and snorkeled the coral garden at the third. We had a delightful lunch at a motu, a coconut demonstration, and then back to the pier in plenty of time to tender back to the ship. We had an awesome time!

Such a fantastic day, can’t recommend the tour and the guides highly enough. We had 4 stops before lunch: swimming with manta rays, eagle rays, reef sharks and patting the very friendly sting rays. Lunch was great too! Would have done it a second time if we’d had another day.

Snorkeling spots were great. Saw reef sharks, stingrays, a school of spotted eagle rays and 2 mantas. Coral gardens was mesmerizing. Very unique coral and algae structures with lovely fish everywhere. Our guides were professional and good entertainers. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. Take a little cash of you want something other than water as the lunch crew were selling beer and soda. I thoroughly enjoyed the full experience.

It really was the most beautiful tour I've had in recent years. The two brothers were extraordinary indeed—young people with a spirit of life, not just out for money. Respect to the two of them. Everything was beyond expectations; I recommend them with confidence.

Fantastic !!! Tama and Arii hosted our best snorkelling day of our lives !!!! Lunch was provided at a beautiful private beach with beautiful views. Food presentation was professional level.

This was an absolutely amazing and unique experience. We got to see manta rays, sharks and stingrays as promised and the lagoon was incredible. Our tour guides Tama and Manu made the whole day fun and the lunch on their secret spot was delicious. Would recommend this experience to anyone travelling to Bora Bora

This tour was wonderful. It did have more of a locals vibe. The lunch on the Motu was super awesome. Snorkeling spots was hands down The BEST on the island... ended tour at a locals only spot which was interesting.

The full day lagoon tour was my favorite thing we did in French Polynesia. The guides were fantastic! I would definitely recommend this tour and would book again when if/when we return.

The captain and partner were knowledgeable and were able to find the manta rays, sting rays, and sharks. Also the coral reef was pretty cool. The weather wasn’t fully cooperative but they made it a fun experience. A group canceled right before the start time so we got to have a “private tour”!

Bora Bora Explorer is a top notch tour company. Our tour guide Toma and our his assistant Akita were absolutely amazing and so helpful and accommodating especially with my elderly mother and me with my disability. They provided the best and most memorable experience. Definitely recommend and would use again. This was my second time using them. We got to even see Manta Rays and Spotted Eagle Rays. That was an added bonus.

Manu and Ari were absolutely wonderful guides! They were constantly checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having a great time. Even though the weather wasn’t the best during our tour, they made the most of it and kept the experience fun and enjoyable from start to finish. The lunch that was provided was hands down the best meal I had during my entire trip. I wish I could remember the names of the cooks so I could give them a well-deserved shoutout as well! I highly recommend Manu and Ari to anyone considering this tour. Their professionalism, positive attitudes, and genuine care for their guests made all the difference and created a memorable experience despite the weather.

We visited Bora Bora as a port stop on our Norwegian Spirit and had an amazing experience on this excursion. We are a family of five with two teenage boys and an 8-year-old, and every one of us had an excellent time. I informed the company ahead of time that our cruise ship would arrive one hour later than the listed excursion time, and they were incredibly accommodating by adjusting the tour schedule to match our arrival. We really appreciated their flexibility and excellent communication. Manu was our captain, and he was absolutely wonderful—genuinely kind, warm, friendly, and full of great energy. He made the entire day fun and memorable. One of the highlights was swimming with the blacktip sharks in the shallow lagoon, which was both exciting and unforgettable. We also loved snorkeling in the coral garden, which was full of lush, vibrant coral and so many beautiful fish. The motu lunch was delicious and gave us time to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. We also really enjoyed the coconut demonstration that Manu did for us—it was such a fun and unique cultural touch. I highly recommend booking this full-day tour if you’re visiting Bora Bora. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Tama and Ari were absolutely fantastic. So much passion, joy and love for life, respect for nature made our trip unforgettable. Tama was so helpful with recommendations. I would definitely ask for him for whatever activities you do (he mentioned Jet Ski, ATV and something else lol). You will not regret it, he brought us to amazing spots and it was fantastic even with overcast weather.

My husband and I came to Bora Bora for the first time and we booked the Full day Lagoon cruise including swimming and snorkeling with sharks and sting rays! We had a blast with Manue, our guide director and our boat driver, Ari, they were awesome and so fun with everyone! He always made us feel safe in the water and checked on everyone to make sure we were good. The excursion also included a delicious lunch and a really good time with everyone on the boat! I really loved the places they took us too, seeing the beautiful aqua turquoise waters while letting us snorkel and swim with the friendly sharks and sting rays, we even saw a little octopus! I highly recommend this tour for a full day of water fun in Bora Bora!

Lunch was absolutely amazing — the food tasted even better than what we had at our 5‑star resort. Mani was incredibly attentive and genuinely caring, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We were lucky enough to see manta rays, reef sharks and stingrays, which made the experience even more unforgettable. Our hosts kept us entertained throughout the day, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. A truly great day all round and highly recommended.

Very fun trip. Guides were amazing! Make sure to bring your own fins for snorkeling. We went to 3 snorkeling places. 1st for manta rays, 2nd for sharks and 3rd for a coral garden that had a fantastic variety of sea life and fish. Our guides were very helpful. Some of the people in our group were struggling in the water and they were right there to help. Lunch was very good and the coconut show was great. I would recommend this to anyone that loves being in the water and swimming with sea animals. It was a perfect day.

We had a wonderful day on the Lagoon Tour. They met us at the cruise pier and took us to four snorkeling spots. We swam/snorkeling with sharks, stingrays, manta rays, beautiful fish. The water was warm and many shades of blue and turquoise. After snorkeling we went to a motu on a cute beach for a delish BBQ lunch and hiked across the motu to the ocean. The guides were friendly, Funny, knowledgeable and good cooks! A shout out also to everyone behind the scenes who helped to make the day so special.

Great activities and tour guides. Weather was rainy and overcast all day so you win some you lose some. The tour guides really were great. They were fun and entertaining and engaging.

Maui is the best. He brings the moon, if you go you’ll understand. Truly the best time. Would 💯💯💯 do it again.

What a perfect day! We spent the day with Manu and Ra'i, who picked us up promtly at the pier and took us to three different snorkeling sites. The first was a manta ray cleaning station where we were able to see one of these magnificent creatures swim directly beneath us. The second site was a location where black tipped reef sharks and sting rays congregate and swim right past / next to / around you. The third site was a coral reef teeming with tropical fish. They then took us to a motu where we had a delicious lunch and learned about how to determine whether a coconut is ripe or not, as well as the proper way to husk, open and shave it. Of course, after returning home we had to re-watch Moana and noticed a very quick shot of the islanders using a stationary spike to open coconuts - which we would never have caught without learning this. We had ten(?) snorkelers on the boat, which was perfect. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone heading to Bora Bora.

I had a great time, the guide are very friendly and knowledgeable, length of the tour was great and we got to see Manta Ray, Sharks and the full beauty of Bora Bora. Lunch was awesome as well. I had great time.

The day started with our tour guides picking us up at our resort by boat. After picking up a few other people, we stopped at 4 different snorkeling locations to snorkel! We saw manta rays, eagle rays, black tipped sharks, stingrays, and a coral garden where there’s “love Bora Bora” written in the sand underwater! Mana and Rai were so full of energy and very informative throughout the whole tour. They were always there to help if needed as well! After snorkeling we circled the whole island to get to a private location for a bbq lunch. It was very delicious! We then learned how to open coconuts and taste the water, flakes, and milk! We then got to go to the coral beach and swim in the ocean a little more before heading back to our resort. Throughout the whole tour, the guides were playing music and singing for us which made the experience so much more memorable! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bora Bora! They do supply snorkeling masks, however if you have your own mask and flippers I recommend bringing them along. Also they supply towels on the tour.
