Bora Bora Lagoon Cruise, Vibrant Snorkeling By Crazy Seahorse

We wanted to be sure we actually got to see the island and sealife on Bora Bora instead of just staying put at our resort. Being with Mo and Tu was the highlight of our time on Bora Bora. They are such warm, caring people - we loved being with them. The tour was amazing - we looped around the whole island with several stops to see ALL of the wildlife. I almost cried when we were so lucky to see a manta! Amazing snorkeling, boat tour, and people. Thank you so much!

Wow, this was a highlight of our Bora Bora holiday. We were the oldest on the tour (73) and the youngest was a baby! The owners and staff on board are highly attentive, fun-loving, and take your safety and enjoyment seriously. We went to beautiful reef sites and swam with the rays and sharks! It’s truly beautiful. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. 10/10

I cannot stress enough how much my husband and I recommend this tour! Another couple at our hotel recommended it to us after they did it twice (shoutout Skinny and Frantastic). We started at a spot that is a known manta ray cleaning station, and we saw 4 mantas there!! They were swimming around us for about 30 minutes and it was nothing short of magical. Next we visited the coral garden! It is hands down the most unique and beautiful place I’ve ever seen! Our last stop was to see sting rays and small reef sharks which was also a must see! Mo and Tu (the couple who run the tour) are so knowledgeable and told us all about the island and the various fish species we saw. Mo was in the water with us the entire time and helped us locate some rare fish. This tour was absolutely the highlight of our time in Bora Bora, and we hope to go again next time we visit! There is a maximum of 12 guests per tour too, so it never gets too crowded and felt more intimate. They also pick up and drop off at your hotel which made the day run so smoothly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Completely circumnavigated Bora Bora! Snorkeled with black tip sharks, sting rays, eagle rays, manta rays, swam through coral gardens using the current to make the swim easier. Best of all was Mo and her husband Tu (yes, motu). Kind helpful, spoke excellent English and brought us to the best sites. Definitely urge you book this high value tour!

This was the highlight of our honeymoon in Bora Bora! Our tour guide, Tu, is a local to the island and did an AMAZING job showing us everything we wanted to see and more. We told him that we wanted to see eagle rays and manta rays and he made sure we were able to see them before the tour ended! Because he has a jet boat, we were able to see everything we wanted in 3 hours. We saw sharks, sting rays, eagle rays, manta rays, and plenty of beautiful coral and fish. There are saddles to sit on, which is so unique, or you can sit in the front of the boat! 100% recommend this tour!

I would give them a zero rating if it were possible. We were supposed to do a tour with Crasy Sea Horse this afternoon. We walked to the pickup place and waited. We finally asked a hotel employee where Crazy Sea Horse picks up the hotel. She had no idea so she called them. She was told the tour was canceled because of “technical” problems. It would have been nice if we had received a message from them before we walked to the pickup spot. Also, if they had let us know earlier we could have booked another different tour instead of wasting a day here. I donot recommend this company to anyone! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED TED.

Tu & Mo picked us up from our hotel & showed us all around the island! They are super friendly and great at communicating details. The first time we were supposed to go, it was pouring rain & windy so they said we should wait another day so we could have a great experience. They are so right! We got to swim with sharks & stingrays, it was amazing! The water colors are incredible and they told us a lot about the island. We loved our entire experience and cannot wait to come back!!

My wife and I got to go on the Crazy Sea Horse today. It was amazing! Hands down the best excursion we experienced in Bora Bora. Mo and Tiu are awesome guides who took us to see sharks, rays, and coral gardens. The boat ride is also a blast. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to go snorkeling when in Bora Bora.

What a wonderful time we had with Mo and T. They are a wonderful couple and know the best snorkel areas. They have a fun boat that has some saddle seating, like on a horse. We three were the only passengers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We went with Tu who picked us up for a morning tour at our hotel. Exceptionally friendly and professional guide. He showed us an amazing time with the reef sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, coral garden. The boat was super comfortable!

An incredible lagoon experience! We went on this excursion as a family and have absolutely no regrets about choosing Crazyseahorse among the many options available. The boat is spacious and comfortable, and the guides — a lovely couple — were incredibly attentive and caring. We had the chance to discover the treasures of Bora Bora’s lagoon (manta rays, eagle rays, sharks, and a memorable walk through the coral garden) in a small group (maximum 12 people), at our own pace, with plenty of explanations that made the tour even more interesting! I highly recommend this excursion.

We booked our tour last minute and I’m so glad we stumbled upon Crazy Seahorse! The owners are a husband and wife duo (sometimes father and son), and they were absolutely amazing guides. Because we missed the mantas due to the number of other people (cruise excursions), we stayed a lot longer at the Coral Gardens. We never felt rushed at any of the stops though. When I saw other guests swimming back to the boat I asked our guide if we were done at this location, and she said “if you’re done! But we have more time if you’d like!” Needless to say, we were the last ones on the boat every time. As an added bonus, because we were the last pickup in the morning, they gave us a full circle of the lagoon while dropping off the other guests at their hotels. Cruise ship people! Do the morning time! Due to picking up regular hotel guests from all over the island, we were picked up about 30 min late from the dock (we were their last pickup). They were kind enough to give us another whole hour of the tour, but unfortunately that lead to their afternoon tour being late as well. Don’t risk it, just book the morning. Plus, we learned that the manta rays are extremely shy and you have better luck swimming with them in the morning! The good: small group (max 12, we had less), English-speaking for us Americans (obviously they speak French natively, but their English is not hard to understand at all), pick up at the cruise port (just look for the boat with Crazy Seahorse on the side!), friendly, fun, the fast boat was awesome between the snorkeling spots, snorkels and flippers provided, and frequent reminders to reapply sunscreen (great for my pale self!) The less good: a little late (but I wouldn’t rate them lower for this! Just book the morning tour!), the mantas were a no-show (such is nature, and on a cruise ship day there were so many people)

Lovely couple as driver and guide; truly spectacular experience with sharks and rays and tropical fish generally. There is no better excursion than this one.

WOW! We went on a half day snorkel-tour with crazy seahorse bora bora and had a truly exceptional experience. Mo and Tu are very friendly people and obviously their number one target is to make you happy. With their comfy jet-boat we went to several places. Mo always joined us in the water for explanations, guidance, if needed, and - we are sure - because she just loves to be in the water and see what's there. In only a little over 4 hours we had encounters with eagle rays (4 and 11), young black tip reef sharks (>10) and stingrays (4-5), one of which repeatedly came to get "a hug", we went to the outer reef to meet adult reef sharks (>12), visited a coral garden with the "classic coral reef fish" and finally on the third location, (because the first two didn't work), we found Manta rays, which was our hope on that day. We were lucky to see a dozen of them in mating dances. Marvelous! Mo und Tu give you all the time you need, never rush you through, it simply couldn't get any better. We are very grateful and feel gifted to have witnessed all that. We go snorkeling for almost 30 years now, often by ourselves, sometimes on guided tours. We never had a tour like this before and will have a hard time going on other tours, because even though you mustn't compare, we will compare and are pretty sure, this experience is pretty much unbeatable.

My two adult daughters and I had the trip of a lifetime with Mo and To! It totally blew away even my high expectations. They were so welcoming and friendly. We felt like family the whole time. They picked us up right at the dock at our Airbnb on the main island. First, they took us to snorkel and swim above a beautiful manta ray. Then we went to another spot to swim with reef sharks and Stingrays. The water was so incredibly clear, it felt like swimming in an aquarium! Next we swam far above a group of Eagle Rays (I counted 19). Then we went to the "Coral Gardens", which was simply one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life. Lastly, we stopped at a spot with the softest sand, had some juice and passion fruit, and just relaxed and talked. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bora Bora. And, this tour alone is a reason to visit Bora Bora!!!

The Crazy Sea Horse and lovely Morgiane and Tuaiva were waiting for us at pickup point at Matira Beach. Whilst the boat as such is impressive on itself, fast, yet comfortable, the real assets are Morgaine and Tuaiva and their love for Bora Bora, their knowledge of the waters, and their passion to share it with all of us on board. We went into the water, amidst blacktip reef sharks, stingrays. They brought us to a spot where we were lucky to see the amazing, impressive mantas up close. We went to a beautiful coral garden, where it feels like swimming in a tropical aquarium. Morgaine showed us sea cucumbers – never knew how soft and silky these creatures feel. We did a full tour around the island, enjoying all colors of blue and turquoise for which Bora Bora is famous and loved. I can only say, DO IT. Book a tour. You will not be disappointed. I sure wasn’t and am forever grateful for them showing me their hotspots.

We had an Amazing day in Bora Bora on the Crazy Sea Horse. This is a nice comfortable jet powered boat with a powerful inboard engine. Perfect for the area. We saw a great deal of Bora Bora and swam w tropical fish, Stingrays, Eagle Rays, sharks and even a Manta Ray. This is a family run business and the operators were very personable, informative and accomodating. Highly recommend this tour.

Mo and Tu, did a great tour with us. We saw dolfins, could swim with sharks and Stingrays. Than we had a break where we get some fruit from her own garden and then we snorkeled in an amazing coral garden. It was amazing. We would do this tour every time, when we are at bora bora. Ran into this by chance coming off of Oceania Cruise. This couple took us on an amazing snorkel trip. They are super nice and knowledgeable. They treated us like family. You will not be disappointed!!

Morgiane and Tuaiva ( owners of Crazy Sea Horse) were remarkable...they took us on a 4 hour trip on their spectacular fast boat where one can use the seats like horse bike riding or just chose to seat comfortably up front being transported above the turquoise waters to different locations...the first location was the manta rays station where we spotted one of these gracious giants..this was my first experience swimming over a manta ray and I was blown away...then we went to where black tip sharks congregate...shallow waters with tons of turtles swimming around and sharks ( not dangerous ones) surrounding us...an amazing experience and to top it all Tuaiva took us to the garden of Corals...it is so beautiful and mesmerizing..a must see!! I felt very secure with both Tuaiva and Morgiane...one of them accompanies us at all times in the water during the snorkel, they take all necessary precautions and to add icing to the cake they are super nice folks...I highly, highly recommend tours on Crazy Sea Horse...it is a must ... I wish I could go back!! Thank you Tuaiva and Morgiane...it was perfect!!

We had the most amazing experience snorkeling with sharks and beautiful fish, then the coral garden, and finally the manta rays! We ended the tour with some home grown fruit that was delicious! They will make sure you have a wonderful and safe time! Price was very reasonable as well. We had such a great time that we did the sunset cruise that evening. Highly recommend!!!

Great day snorkeling with black tip reef sharks and stingrays in Bora Bora! Seeing the manta rays was just an awesome experience. The captain (Sushi) and his wife (Mo) were just wonderful.

Following my trip for a weekend on Bora-Bora, I had the opportunity to take an excursion on this beautiful and unforgettable jet boat. The owners are extraordinary and welcoming people. I was able to rediscover the beautiful turquoise waters and the exceptional seabed of the island.
