We had an absolutely amazing time on our Jet Ski and snorkelling trip! Captain T and Rio were fantastic and made the whole experience so much fun from start to finish. The jet skis were an absolute blast, and the snorkelling was unforgettable. We were lucky enough to see manta rays, sharks, stingrays, and even a huge amount of dolphins. It was an incredible experience and something we’ll never forget.

You will get back into the action after lunch for a 2.5hrs Eco Shark and Ray Snorkel Safari group tour. My wife and I loved the jet ski tour. Maui was a great guide and helped everyone in the group keep pace and have a great time. The lunch at Lucky House was also delicious and covered in this package. Lasts, snorkeling was enjoyable although weather conditions began to grow windy. Highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing experience for our honeymoon! Marama was a great snorkeling guide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ snorkeling with sting rays, eagle rays, manta rays and sharks. Tha coarl garden was beautiful. Maui was awesome as or jet ski guide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We toured the entire Bora Bora atoll. Everything was absolutely perfect!
Super fun day. I actually swam with sharks ! Yikes. We went snorkeling in a beautiful reef. I would recommend this tour.
Moana Tours was wonderful, great guides and safety was paramount. We saw everything we hoped to see snorkeling and more. Jet Ski tour was a blast !
This tour was phenomenal. The snorkeling tour was such an amazing experience to swim with the fish and even see the Manta Ray over the deep ocean. Tema, our guide for the jet ski tour, was very patient and had a great sense of humor! The experience itself was very VERY thrilling, accelerating up to 70mph while bouncing along the waves. If you've got an itch for snorkeling with sharks/sting rays and an exciting jet ski adventure, I highly recommend this experience!!!
This is a must do experience in Bora Bora. It's incredible to glide through the different colors of water on jet skis. Swimming with sharks and stingrays is unnerving at first, but so amazing to be so close to them in their natural habit. We were surprised by the extra stop to see mantarays. That was exciting. Mana and Tehere were excellent guides.
From the start, everything was well organized and so much fun. The guides were fantastic and made us feel completely safe the entire time, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the adventure. The jet ski portion was definitely a highlight. They let you get up to speed and actually have fun! The 4-wheeler ride through the mountain trails was a bit rough at times, but still a cool way to see a different side of the island. So fun and getting to do a quick loop around the whole island gave us the most incredible, picture perfect views. All of the equipment was in great condition, which made a big difference in the overall experience. The snorkeling portion with the sharks and rays was unforgettable, and everything felt very well run. As a bonus, lunch was included and it was actually really good. It was not just a small snack. We got a huge pizza, a chicken sandwich, and a burger, plus two drinks. Overall, such a fun, adventurous, and well-rounded excursion. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bora Bora!
Great jerking experience. Fun to explore the different parts of Bora Bora from this perspective and to get the thrill of jet skiing. Hands get a bit sore from hanging onto the handles through all the vi ration but that comes with the territory (just noting for readers, not anything specific to the tour). Would definitely do this again and recommend for anyone looking for some adventure and great views of the entire island.
We were going on a cruise through French Polynesia which included Bora-Bora. Our cruise line did not have the excursions that I was looking for so I decided to go on TripAdvisor to find this one. I was very happy with my choice. We able to get off the boat and get picked up very close to the pier. We first went snorkeling with our guide Tane. he was able to show us the prime places for snorkeling that included essentially swimming in an aquarium full of fish, and then later looking for rays we are able to spot eagle rays on the surface. After this excellent starting a venture we were dropped off for the JetSki experience. first were able to eat lunch, since bloody Mary’s was closed we went elsewhere. I ordered a pizza thinking I was gonna be a personal pan size pizza but it was huge.! Very tasty though. Tip:across the street is a small shop that had very good high-quality goods. i’d would recommend shopping there while you’re waiting .. They had some items that were not found easily in downtown Bora Bora. The JetSki with Ali was also fantastic. She was a true go-getter. There were two Jet ski s in our group. The second JetSki decided to go slow but that didn’t stop Ali and us from going fast. And I mean full throttle. We got off on an island, split open a coconut and drank some milk. I would recommend some nice water shoes as this will keep you comfortable both on the JetSki and on the island. also, beware of wearing a hat unless you turn it backwards because of the high speed JetSki you’ll lose it in a second. Also, make sure you have croakies for your sunglasses . getting back to the ship was very easy. The price of the excursion was well under what the ship would have charged. We also noted the island prices for a similar JetSki trip together with a snorkeling trip you can’t beat this group. Definitely a five star. Hope this helps.
I totally recommend this tour. The snorkeling is really good and unique to Anywhere else in the world. Jet ski was a great way to go around Bora Bora. The water is warm and such an amazing blue color.
Had an absolutely incredible experience with our tour guide Sam! He was extremely friendly and captained our boat and went out of his way to point out manta rays, black tip reef sharks, and amazing life on the reefs. The pick-up and drop-off were very efficient as well. Couldn’t have imagined a better tour and can’t recommend this enough for anyone in Bora Bora.
This jet ski tour was absolutely amazing! The team was super friendly and made everything so easy from start to finish. They gave clear instructions and made sure everyone felt safe and confident before heading out. The ride itself was so much fun — fast, exciting, and the ocean views were breathtaking! We even got to see some wildlife along the way, which made it even more special. The guide was great at keeping the group together and made the experience both fun and relaxing. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area — it’s the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and great people. Can’t wait to come back and do it again!
The best excursion that we booked through out the trip! Snorkeling was beautiful! They took us to 3 different spots and we were very lucky to see manta rays. It was my first time snorkeling and swimming was not my strength, but Tema was very attentive that helped me still able to enjoy the whole experience! Jet ski was so fun as well. Mat took his time to lead us and allowed some breaks in between for switching and taking photos. Also we got to learn some interesting facts of Motu Temaahu and other islands. Both Tema and Mat were hilarious! Highly recommend them for everyone!
This was truly the best part of the trip we had so much fun exploring and learning about all of the species in the water. It’s very easy to get to the location and everything moves very quickly and at the perfect pace to make sure you can have the most amount of fun possible. Thank you so much to Tema and Tehere for making these experience so memorable for my wife and me. Woo! Amazing!
It was a lot of fun and the tour guides we had were great! It was a great way to see Bora Bora. Loved the coral reef!
The jet ski experience was very rough. Waves &winds high (20 mph) towards the last part of the trip. Very rough to drive the jet ski. Lunch at Lucky's was good. The visit to sting rays was great. Our guide made a couple of attempts to find them. Also swimming with the sharks and coral reef was fantastic. Our guide was attentive and really watched over everyone while on the boat and in the water.
Alize was an outstanding guide for the jet ski tour around the island. Very safe and very exciting. Dan took us to various snorkeling spots including the shark area and coral gardens. He knew so much and was super helpful and friendly. They really made the experience that much better.
Our jet ski guide Ali was amazing. She was very nice and energetic. We had a beautiful day stopping on a Motu to explore. Then we went back to the dock and switched to Boat that took us to a local restaurant for lunch. We were there about an hour and a half. We had time to walk along the public beach that was nearby. Then we went to a shallow snorkel area, where there were lots of rays and sharks.
We really enjoyed this experience. The Jet ski tour around Bora Bora was Amazing. We stopped at a private island to swim and learn about coconuts. Then lunch. I thought lunch was just okay. The wait time was a bit long before the next tour began to go see the sharks and stingrays. The current was very strong that day. Otherwise a Great Experience.
Experience is split into two. Jet ski is separate from the shark and rays. A lot of us on the tour thought we would be jet skiing to different spots. But its a boat that take you to all the snorkle spots. Then you switch gears to jet skiis, and you are in a follow the leader type line so that you can have fun just riding.
Extraordinary day in contact with the nature of Bora Bora. We saw blacktip sharks and stingrays up close. We ate at an affiliated restaurant where the food was very good and the staff friendly. In the afternoon we took a jet ski tour of the island. A pure adrenaline rush!!
Moana Adventure tours was amazing! Tema picked us up from our hotel on time and was very friendly and funny! Mana led our jet ski tour which was amazing - extremely fun, beautiful and the coconut show was very interesting and informative. Lunch was great at the lucky house and then Tema led us again on our snorkeling tour - which was awesome! Lots of sting rays and black tip sharks to swim with and the coral garden was great to see. Blown away by how friendly everyone we interacted with was - completely recommend! Tema also dropped us off back at our hotel at the end of the day.
Awesome day out! Jet Ski tour around Bora Bora was pure joy, and snorkeling with sharks got the adrenaline going. Loved exploring the Coral Garden—so much to see under the water. Would do it again!
Super fun day! Professional company, thorough communication before our tour. The jet ski tour was an amazing way to see the island. I loved the stop at the motu. Very friendly, knowledgeable guide! Lunch was delicious (pizza, Polynesian raw fish, cold beers). We can’t speak highly enough of the snorkeling. Our guide and captain were very nice and showed us the coral garden, rays, and sharks. We even got to see eagle rays. Highly recommend
Amazing guide, top of the line jet skis, felt like we fully got our money's worth. We enjoyed the rides, the tours, and the friendly staff
What an amazing tour this was. we had so much fun, took so many pictures. they were on time to pick us up. our guides were awesome. If you go to Bora Bora this is a MUST do tour. no doubt about it.
This is a long day - we probably only needed to book one experience, not both! The crew did a good job of keeping us moving, but we were definitely exhausted by the end of it. The jet ski tour was great. We got to see rays and even a sea turtle in the lagoon! And my husband had a blast taking the ski out for a little fun. The one thing here that I didn't love was when our guide spotted the sea turtle and then seemed to chase it around the lagoon so that the other members of our group could see it up close. Lunch was not quite what I expected. I thought we would take the jet skis out to an island where we would experience a grill out of sorts, but instead, we got to an island and just opened a couple of coconuts. It was later that I found out lunch was back on the mainland in a pretty average restaurant (my husband got pizza and I got a caesar salad). Snorkeling was interesting. Yes, we saw lots of wildlife, which was very cool! However, we had a pretty large group (about 15 people total, including 2 small kids). The guide did not introduce anyone to the area at all. No warm-up of any sort, and no lecture on how you should act in the water or how to respect wildlife and your surroundings. Our group ranged from about 2 years old to probably about 80 years old, and abilities were limited. My husband and I are very able-bodied and had been on another snorkeling excursion prior to this, so we were pretty shocked to see the lack of regard for people's abilities. For example, we had an older lady who could barely climb the ladder to get back into the boat, and the smaller children could not swim, so they needed life vests and constant supervision (the hand was really good about this, actually!). When we stopped in the lagoon for the ray and shark experience, it was abundantly clear that there was no respect for wildlife. Members of our group were reaching out for animals, and it was clear the ray had experienced this before, as it was covered in scratches. I was surprised to see people even chasing sharks around (our guide said the sharks would just swim off, but I'd rather not chance it with a 5-foot fish equipped with sharp teeth). Our last stop was in a coral reef, which was full of fish and clams and offered some really cool sights. My husband and I were able to get away from the group and enjoy some time alone, but were a little unprepared for how tight the coral was (it was pretty hard to swim through!). The gear provided by the company was pretty bad, so I'd suggest bringing your own if you have it. My goggles constantly leaked and fogged, the snorkel was hard to clear, and the flippers rubbed sores on my toes. The highlight of our trip was the group of eagle rays we saw, but even this felt frenzied. Our guide was looking for them from the boat, and once they were spotted, he basically had everyone flock to them for a look. There were so many people in the water (other tour groups, as well) that I even lost my husband and popped up next to a random man accidentally. My husband was kicked by someone trying to dive down to the rays (not allowed), and we almost ran into the propeller of a small boat - yes, it was that crowded. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this tour solely due to the poor snorkeling experience. I think if you are interested in the jet ski tour, book that separately.
Our day in Bora Bora was nothing short of unforgettable! The adventure began with prompt pickup and excellent communication, setting the tone for a seamless experience. Jet skiing across the stunning, multicolored lagoons was absolutely exhilarating. Snorkeling was a dream—rays, sharks, an eel, octopus and vibrant fish surrounded us at every stop. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day feel both exciting and safe, with a delicious lunch in the middle of the two activities. I can’t remember our boat captain’s name, but he was fantastic! We did a snorkel the day before with another outfit and the coral garden (his secret coral garden) was way better than the day before!!! Book and you will have the best day ever ❤️
Action packed and well run full day tour. 3 great snorkeling spots in the morning to see sharks, stingrays and beautiful coral followed by included lunch at a local restaurant then a full wave runner tour around the entire island. It was a perfect day exploring Bora Bora!
We did this activity while celebrating my wife’s birthday. Prompt pick up by boat at the Westin - 30 minute boat ride to the main island. Morning we went to three snorkeling stops - first stop swam with sting rays & black tip reef sharks. Second stop deep water and saw an amazing Manta ray. Third stop saw beautiful coral fish on a reef near the airport. Lunch at Lucky’s on the main island - delicious pizza and cold beer! Then the afternoon we jet skied around Bora Bora with a stop for some fresh coconut. All the staff was amazing, especially Jean on the jet skis. It was a perfect day in a perfect place!
Snorkeling and swimming with the reef sharks and stingrays was amazing. We saw some of the most beautiful coral and fish. The Jet ski portion allowed you to tour the entire island. My only complaint was the water was so rough in areas it was a bit miserable at times.
Jumping on the bandwagon here of excellent reviews, Dan and team were warm, hospitable, but also put our safety first. Also - the snorkeling was superb (rays, sharks, and more fish than you could count). Later on...manta rays! The jet ski tour was equally fun. I enjoyed the coconut demonstration more than I expected and the dip in the calm, shallow lagoon was heavenly. Keep up the good work.
Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The group was able to see manta rays, sting rays, sharks.
Marama was our tour guide and he was incredible. Definitely recommend doing this excursion. It was mind blowing how close we got with the sting rays and sharks yet we never felt threatened at all. 10/10!!
Wow!!! One of the best experience I ever had in Bora Bora. We did the six hour tour where you got to see the sharks the stingrays we got the so you go see a mammoth we had lunch. We got the ride to jet skis. Most amazing adventure in Bora Bora. I highly recommend anyone that books his tour to book the six hours tour. Ask for MARAMA he is the best tour guy. He making fun and crack jokes with you. Also the jet ski tour guide is amazing. He’s not strict like any other jet ski tour you have been on. If he knows you got some experience he lets have a little fun. My husband is experienced and him and the guy had a blast splashing water on my husband racing my husband. All around one of the best adventures to go on.
We made the first tender off the ship so were early for our pickup. Moana was there early too. We rode the boat to their facility and got organized for our outing. Unfortunately, we were 2 couples traveling together but we didn’t mention that earlier so they had us in separate groups. They did get us together for the jet skis but there must be some rule about each 4 needs a guide and they assigned a second guide. All around the island on that beautiful water! Then off to lunch at Lucky House restaurant as Bloody Mary’s has closed. Great food and plenty of it! The afternoon was the rays and sharks but unfortunately there were 3 cruise ships in that day so the area was crowded. That means stirred up sand and less visibility. Also no rays this time, they said because they are no longer allowed to feed them. Glad we saw them in2020! By now the rain was coming but we had a lot to look at at the coral garden near the reef. Bigger waves with the storm and the ride back was stinging drops of rain, but warm at least! Moana took great care of us again and we had a fun day!
The sharks and rays snorkeling was unbelievable! Taking the jet skis around the entire island, a dream come true! I would do this excursion every day if I could!
We very much enjoyed our tour . The guides were all very friendly and welcoming. Our guides, Matt and Vincent were great! They were very knowledgeable and made sure we were having a great time .
It’s not scary as it looks. It’s more than you would expect it to be. Had a really great time with my husband on our 25th anniversary.
Ali is the BEST Jetski instructor hands down!!!! She will make sure all Safety measures are locked & loaded before ramping up those Jetski engines 👍👍
Great Experience. This was our second attempt to see some good sights snorkeling and we were not disappointed. Jet ski portion was a blast. This is on our "must do" recommendation list.
I add never jet ski before so was very nervous I told the guide but he wasn’t interested We were told that we would make several stops to take pictures but only stopped once for a swim it was beautiful but it was only one stop The staff didn’t engage with us about Bora Bora Lunch was great And the swim with sharks snd rays was good But again no engagement about anything Tour good but needed more from tour guides
Loved our jet ski tour with our teacher! We thought she was hilarious and made us feel safe. My husband was ready to go and I was nervous, but she talked me through it and said it was fine if I don’t want to or get nervous and she would follow our lead. We went to a private island and saw the reef, had a snack and learned to crack open a coconut. The jet skis were a highlight of our trip! We enjoyed snorkeling with the small sharks. We didn’t see any rays to snorkel with so that was a little disappointing. The snorkel/boat driver wasn’t as personable as the jet ski teacher, but was okay. It is a bumpy and long boat ride so be prepared!
Jetski’s and snorkel was amazing. Mana was awesome and willing to answer any questions we had. The water was beautiful and would highly recommend!
Tour was a blast. Marine was a great jet ski tour guide and made the trip very fun! Weather was a bit of a bummer but what can you do about that!
I very was disappointed regarding the snorkeling & shark activity. The small mouth inflated yellow life jacket kept on deflating. I was unable to participate in the activities due to safety concerns. Very unhappy about this experience.
What a fun tour. The trip started in the morning on the snorkeling trip, our guide stopped at several sites allowing us to see a great variety of sealife. Highly recommend. The second part of the day we met up with Here & Tane for the jet ski trip. Here was our group guide and she was fantastic. She took us all around the island, at full speed, making several stops to see the motu side of Bora Bora. The team made sure everyone was safe and having a great time. This is a trip to do while in Bora Bora.
The snorkeling with the sharks and rays was amazing. There were so many and the rays were friendly and you got to pet them pretty easily. It was a great time. There were not very many fish in the second stop at the coral garden but, the coral was pretty awesome. Lunch at the lucky house was terrific, wood fired pizzas to order and a great burger. Very welcoming staff and a pool to swim in if you are interested. The jet ski tour was great as well, the water is perfect and we got to stop and swim around and see some new fish and rays. They gave us a snack of drinks and some local fruit. They brought us back to our actual resort on the jet ski so that was perfect.
We went in the morning to do jet ski first, lunch, then snorkeling. It was drizzling on the boat ride to the company business. The driver asked us if we wanted to continue. We asked if it was going to rain all day. He said I don't know. After getting on our jet skis, the guide took off at 60 mph. We tried to keep up, but the rain and salt water hurt our faces and eyes badly, and I couldn't see a thing. I stopped. The guide came back and told us we needed to go faster. I told him that I couldn't do it because I couldn't see. He told us to keep going because he had to pick other people up. He said I should have bought jetski glasses. He was in full head gear down to his neck. We had to go around the island like that. We had pizza and 2 beers for lunch. When we returned, they told us snorkeling was canceled. They told the afternoon jet ski tour it was canceled do to no visibility. We asked why ours wasn't canceled. They said that we agreed to it on the boat. We fought the charge, and thankfully our hotel reimbursed us for the tours. We had to pay the lunch. It was $137 for a pizza and 2 beers. The tour company refused to compensate us for the horrible jet ski experience. It ruined our day.
