It was an all day tour. We went on jet skis in the morning, had lunch on the main island at Lucky’s (very good) then spent the afternoon touring the island in a big 4 wheel vehicle learning the history and seeing local trades… amazing day!

We had a great day on the Combo Tour, the weather was a bit windy but guide was fantastic and we jetski’d around the island. Amazing scenery, then after lunch at Lucky House (food was great - Caesar Salad was gorgeous) we then had a 4WD jeep take us to some great view points, finished off with time at a local enterprise making sarongs. Pick up and drop off at the port, perfect timing and would highly recommend.
This experience was horrible. I booked a private trip. The trip was not private. Then I was abandoned after lunch and had to find my own way back to my hotel. I was offered a refund but that doesn’t justify being stuck on an island with no transportation.
We had a blast with this Jet ski & 4x4 Tour on our last day in Bora Bora. Jet ski instructor Tane was very skilled and safely guided us through two hours Jet ski journey in Bora Bora. It was super fun! Also the scenery from the top of mountains where we went by 4x4 was spectacular! We recommend this activity to anyone who visit Bora Bora!!
The guide was over 30 minutes late for our pick up time which was a little frustrating. The jet ski tour was great! Good guides fun trip. The lunch at Luckys was great. The 4w jeep tour was just ok.
This was an amazing experience, first was the 4x4 around the island our tour guide was knowledgeable and drove us to the highlights of the island. And then we got dropped off at the Lucky house for an amazing lunch. After lunch our Jet ski tour guide Matt picked us up and we had an exciting jet ski tour around the island. Absolutely the best tour to do.
We canceled because at the last min we were told lunch would be somewhere else. The entire reason we booked this tour was to eat at Bloody Mary. You should NOT advertise this tour knowing that bloody Mary’s is closed Sunday. We deserve a refund for the false advertising
The 4WD is a great way to see the island if you have not rented transportation. They take you to tippy top views and locations that you cannot see on your own. The JET SKI was an amaaaazing time and experience!!! The guide was very nice and allowed us to have a good time. They even take you to a private location and show you something neat (I won’t ruin it.) If you wanna get some adrenaline do this! We are now friends with the guide haha. Thank you for giving such a great time on Bora bora, treating us like family.
3 stops on the Jeep tour, a lot of travel along the local road around the island showing the residents life however not a lot of history from the tour guide since there is an enclosed cab separating the bed where guests ride in the back, but overall a nice tour. Good food at Bloody Mary’s. They have a limited menu for the tours coming through but they provided a nice cocktail, another soft drink, and had about a dozen food choices. Fish sandwich was awesome and the ahi salad type dish was amazing also. Would have liked to seen their full menus since it should be a good place to go back to (by taxi?) Jet ski (sea doo) ride was a couple of hours with a break about 1/2 way around the entire lagoon. Mat was a great guide. He was friendly, attentive, had some good stories and provided fresh coconut, grapefruit, and cold water at our stopping point. My wife and I split the driving (before and after the break) since 2 hours is a lot on this water Craft. Overall a fun day, we slept well that night!
This excursion was really cool! The 4X4 we probably could have done without if it weren’t for the WW2 cannons which was a highlight! Jet skiing was rough because the water was very tough and we did a dual jet ski. We’d recommend each person get their own jet ski!
5 STARS across the board ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Allie & Matahi was exceptional on providing the most Fun experience I had on a Jetski tour EVER!!!While Adolf endured the Schorching Humidity to provides us in depth information of the tour around Bora Bora & providing us with Water to replenish us. Something ill never forget & make me come back again 😀 Richie Dee
It was incredible to be able to tour the whole island of Bora Bora, first by land, then by sea! Our 4x4 guide was amazing (sadly forget his name) but he did a great job sharing the history of the island and showing us the local plants. The afternoon was also great, Ali was very fun and made sure we all had a good time.
Our drive around Bora Bora was awesome...the roads are a little scary, but our tour guide was very cautious and kept us safe. Bloody Mary's had great food and we got a free drink too. The jet ski excursion around the island was also alot of fun. All in all, it was a great day.
Had a great time. Nico was an amazing Jet Ski tour guide--really let us have fun and taught us so much about the island. Cannot recommend enough.
After some issues with our collection and booking with Trip Advisor we had a had an enjoyable day 4x4 driving to spectacular views. It was also great chatting with our local guide about French Polynesian life. Lunch at Bloody Mary’s was tasty and had efficient service but seemed a bit of a ‘cheesy’ tourist restaurant (we enjoyed the local restaurants more). Ali who lead our jet ski tour was lovely, great at taking photos for each of us and made sure we had a great and safe time. It was a great way to see the island and the we enjoyed stopping for a swim and eating fresh coconuts. It was great to have an outdoor shower when we arrived back to change before we had to head to the airport.
A really fun day. Beautiful views around Bora Bora with a nice lunch. The Jetski trip was a blast. Ali, our guide, was friendly and kept a good eye on us throughout our trip around the island. Highly recommended!
Thank you to all the staff on this trip for making it so brilliant. The lovely lady who deals with the bookings kindly phoned me in my hotel room the day before to help me organise travel to our hotel dock. The 4x4 trip driver was lovely and very informative. The lunch at bloody Mary’s was brilliant and food included in the cost of the trip which we didn’t expect. The jet skis were so much fun and we circled the whole island! Amazing day and one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you so much :)
One of the best tour we ever did! The land tour brings you to very nice view points, you learn about how paréos are made and get to hike to the canons! Breathtaking views! The jet ski part was amazing, the water was so smooth, clear and blue, it felt unreal! Highly recommend this tour!
What an amazing day. Our morning guide, Jean, showed us what to do to be safe on the jet skis and showed us all about coconuts! Lunch at Bloody Mary’s was nice and Daniel did a great job showing us around the island in the afternoon. Well worth the cost.
Really enjoyed learning and seeing the other side (land side) of Bora Bora before going to Bloody Mary's and having a jet ski tour. Recommend you bring some bug spray for Bloody Mary's - tons of mosquitos! But the jet ski's were one of my favorite experiences because of the view and just the speed! Highly recommend this pairing!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. We found the land tour around the island very interesting and the lookout points had spectacular views! Our guide, Jean, even played his ukulele and sang for us! He provided us with so much information about the history, people and fauna of Bora Bora. We stopped to see how a local woman made pareos (wraps) which she sold to tourists and resorts. It was so nice to meet the artist and watch her work. It was nice to buy my souvenir directly from the artist! Lunch at Bloody Mary's was a lot of fun and the food was great. After lunch we did a jet ski tour around the island which was so much fun! Our jet ski guide, who was also named Jean, was a lot of fun and very experienced on a jet ski! We got to stop at a few beautiful view points for photo ops. One spot had the most amazingly soft sand! He also took us to a small private motu where he told us about the different plants. He showed us how to weave a bowl out of coconut palm fronds. He also found coconuts and showed us how to get the water, milk, meat and oil out of them. It was an unforgettable day.
We did the jet ski first thing in the morning after being picked up at the Conrad and taken to the dock on the main island. This was definitely the highlight of our trip in Bora Bora! My wife was nervous about riding her own jet ski, but the guide talked us into riding our own because it is actually more comfortable than sitting on the back. We were both able to master the jet skis in a matter of minutes and is actually super easy! We caught some air a couple of times because the current was very strong the day we went out but we were both able to handle it ! You stop in 3 locations: 1st: near one of the outer islands where you can take some pictures on your jet skis and enjoy the view 2nd: in between the Four Seasons and St Regis where you can take a couple circles and catch some speed on your ski! Here you have the best view of the main island and can get some more pics and sink your feet in the soft sand in the shallow water. 3rd: the tour’s own private coconut island where the guide shows you how to open 2 types of coconuts and you get to try some coconut water, coconut sponge, and coconut meat. This place was incredible. We spent roughly 45 minutes here. You then ski back to the dock where the van brings you to lunch. Bloody Mary’s is closed Sundays/Mondays so try to book on any other day. The other lunch spot was pretty good but we really wanted to try bloody Mary’s. I suggest booking only the Jet Ski tour as the 4x4 took a long time to complete and we were pretty tired. Our guide was cool and was very informative about the island. He even stopped by a store where we could purchase souvenirs! You do a complete circle of the island which takes approximately 3 hours. Make sure you bring some Tahitian cash so you can purchase art from one of the locals where they give you a tutorial on how to paint cotton ! $15 ea for a hand painted sheet. You can a cool view of the canons from WW11 and get some information on this as well.
The tour was really interesting and the views from up by the WWII cannons was spectacular. Loved our guide, who was kind and knowledgeable. Enjoyed stopping to see how pareos are made and to taste the amazingly delicious local fruit, my daughter especially loved drinking from her own coconut! Lunch at Bloody Mary's was excellent and fun during a sudden rainstorm, and we weren't sure how jet skiing in the rain would be. Suffice it to say that it was possibly the most fun things we've ever done in our lives. The sun came out for much of the jet ski tour, but it wasn't necessary - even in the rain it was a gorgeous adventure! It just might be the most beautiful place in the entire world, and the whole time we were riding we kept feeling like we should pinch ourselves to see if we were dreaming. We stopped at a private island and checked out some cool wildlife, saw how to open and use a coconut, and saw every inch of the coast of Bora Bora. Here was our guide, and she was awesome. Our 16 year old daughter was allowed to drive her own jet ski (had driven one before) and enjoyed herself tremendously. If you go, take waterproof phone cases on secure neck or wrist straps - it gets very bouncy and we almost lost a phone when a neck strap broke. So incredibly glad we chose this tour, worth every franc!
We had a fabulous time on the jet skis. We went completely around the Bora Bora island. They stopped at an island and showed us how to cut a coconut, make coconut milks and stopped at Bloody Mary's for a drink and lunch. We were the only people at Bloody Mary's. The food was below average but I'm glad we got to experience it. It would be more fun to come back at night.
My husband and I recently went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon. This tour was perfect. We were able to experience Bora Bora by land and by water. Tiba was hilarious and made the 4WD tour fun and informational. We saw incredible overlooks and had some fresh coconut water. Bloody Mary's is a must do while visiting. Our guide, Nicholson, took us on our Jet Ski tour. He showed us the entire island. We even stopped at a private motu and learned how to make coconut milk. This was such a fun adventure day!
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because we weren't overly excited about the 4WD driver part of the tour, but you don't know what you don't know, right? It's pretty rough when you're off road, which is to be expected, but just not what we had in mind. The driver was really good, there are some scary parts going up some of the roads, but he definitely knows what he's doing. There were some phenomenal views once you go to the top of the road. Bloody Mary's was "OK". The package price was a great deal since it included a lunch, a drink for each of us plus a soft drink. Downside, they didn't get our food order right at all. The drinks were good, the Pepsi was ice cold!!!! LOL There was a cool dog inside, if you're a dog lover, if not, it might be bothersome, but the dog was very mellow and just wants food. OK, onto the Jet Ski part - This was incredible, at least for me. For my wife, not so much as she was in terror most of the time being on the back of the jet ski - note for next time, pay the extra money and get separate Jet Ski's, it's really hard to be a passenger on one of these things, especially if you like to be in control. Jean was our guide, he was incredible!! Took us to a private island, where he demonstrated how to get coconut water, milk and oil out of the coconut and he also showed us how to make items out of the leaves from the coconut tree, he made my wife a handbag which we still have! If you can ask for him, I highly recommend it, he was great! If you aren't into the 4WD part, just book a jet ski tour by itself and you'll be so glad you did. We went around the entire island, I could have done that all day. My wife, not so much, LOL... We booked 2 tours through this company and would definitely use them again! Thanks for making this a great honeymoon for my wife and I!
Our 4WD tour guide, Tiba was very well versed on history of Bora Bora and showed us amazing views from top of mountains. Pareo demonstration was quite interesting and even got to drink coconut water from a coconut. Lunch at Bloody Mary's was great - food very good, nice ambiance. My husband's favorite was the jet ski. I was terrified riding as passenger with him because he was inexperienced (we are both 69yrs old) so , Jean, our guide let me ride with him and remainder of trip was awesome! Jean was THE BEST at making me feel safe and comfortable and if not for him I would not have enjoyed the experience. The little island he took us too was breathtakingly beautiful and his coconut demonstration was very interesting. Surprised at how sweet and tasty coconut milk is. We thoroughly enjoyed our tours and highly recommend it !!!
Absolutely amazing! Jean was fantastic I highly recommend him as your guide. He is very concerned with safety but still lets you open the machine's up. There is no greater experience than ripping over the beautiful lagoons of Bora Bora. He showed us the site's and took pictures at some of the best spots along the way. We stopped at a private island and taught us how to craft objects with palm leaves. He even made a beautiful purse for my wife with them! This is a must do while in Bora Bora and Jean and Moana Adventures is a must!
This was a great time. we have stopped for a coconut demonstration walked back to the reef took some photo of the beautiful look. The guides we had were GREAT!!
Our guy Tiba andJean Were great! Both of the islands history.Jean was Exceptional exclamation! I was very scared as a passenger with my husband and experience and John allowed me to ride with him and made the experience Exceptional exclamation! I was very scared as a passenger with my husband and experience and John allowed me to ride with him and made the experience Unforgettable!! Jean kids 1000 stars! The little island he took us to was so beautiful and his coconuts demonstration was the finest. Weather in scenery unforgettable.
We took this land and sea tour on Jan 22, 2020. It was great. George, our land guide, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. I learned a lot about French Polynesia and the island of Bora Bora. Bloody Mary's seemed to be a local favorite of the other drivers we talked to. We enjoyed our meals. My husband said the Poisson Cru he had was the best he ate on the island. Kevin, our sea tour guide was equally knowledgeable and led us on a very fun, hi-speed jet ski tour around the island. I would definitely request him as our guide the next time we visit. My only regret is I didn't have my phone or camera to take photos or videos of the coconut demonstrations he gave. If you want a great way to see the island from both perspectives and have fun doing it BOOK THIS TOUR!
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The 4WD tour was a wonderful way to get a taste of all that is Bora Bora. Beautiful scenery, a short hike to the WW2 cannons, a tropical fruit sampling and a natural flower dye demonstration all rolled in to one morning. Our driver was very attentive and showed us a good time. Although Bloody Mary's was closed the day we went on the tour, the alternate restaurant was excellent... our favorite meal of the vacation. The Jet Ski tour was an exciting change of pace. My 35 year old daughter really wanted to do this, and I'm so glad she did as it was somewhat out of my comfort zone. But our guide, Teuira, was an excellent instructor and coconut peeler, as the tour included an private island stop with a demonstration and tasting. So much fun in one day... I highly recommend it.
If you like history and want more than your standard tour, do the 4x4 combo. Although much of the driving is on the pavement around the island, there were two short off-road adventures that were fun, but the history and stories made the experience GREAT! Our driver took the time to explain the culture, history, and even some family stories. The jet ski was fantastic! Wind was strong, but made for some fun waves. Bora Bora is more than bungalows and blue water, the history and culture is wonderful to discover as well. Thanks for a lovely day!
Daniel was our driver for the 4 wheel drive tour of the island and we could not have been more pleased with him and his driving! He was very nice and accommodating and made sure we saw all of the sites to see and did a great job telling us some island history as well. We stopped a couple of times for little breaks and shopping too. Jean was our Jet Ski tour guide and was truly AWESOME!! He patiently went over safety info first and made sure we were comfortable with new jet skis—then gave us a kick ass jet ski tour! My husband and I had a blast on the water and didn’t want it to end. We also stopped on a small island where we took a little break and he went over some island history and survival skills as well. The highlight was that he taught us how to open a coconut and all the many uses of it- water, milk, oil, meat—and of course we got to sample it all too. If you ever get stuck on a desert island, he’s the guy you want around!
We had a great time in a Land Rover pickup with Daniel as our driver all morning, a fun lunch at Bloody Mary's and an incredible time with Jean on jet skis all afternoon. This tour is a very full day and the perfect way to cover the Bora Bora area by land and sea. Highly recommend this trip and really think Daniel and Jean are great guides.
Tiba was our 4x4 driver and he was great! Funny, informative, and really enjoyed answering questions, no matter how bizarre. The safari had some amazing views and I have to commend his driving to get us to some of them. Jet skiing with Here was a blast; we ended up circling the entire island, with a couple stops to get pictures and a demonstration of how to open up a coconut and shred it. Definitely one of the best excursions I've done anywhere. Highly recommended!
Very fun excursion! Enjoyed every minute! Here was our jet ski guide and she was awesome! Fun girl! Friendly and great personality! Please forgive me I forgot the name of our 4-4 guide.. he was great too! Very knowledgeable about the area being born and raised there..A nice overview of the main island of BB.. a nice lunch at the famous Bloody Mary’s.. great way to end our trip!! Thank you Moana adventures for the awesome day!!
This is the one excursion I was so looking forward to, unfortunately due to weather, we were unable to do it but were offered to reschedule it but it was scheduled on our last day in Paradise..... When we returned home I requested a refund and without hesitation I received it within 2 days. if someday we are able to return I would definitely book again with this company.....
We did the 4WD island_mountain / lunch at Bloody Mary's / Jet Ski combo tour. Cannot recommend it enough in the middle of your resort stay when you're stuck in one place for a long while. George was our 4WD tour of the main island on Bora Bora and he brought a charming, light-hearted humor to a historic perspective of the island with gorgeous mountain views. And Joe was our jet ski guide who was knowledgeable of all the beautiful, diverse shades of blue water areas and ended the tour on a private island with a coconut tutorial amongst the azure lagoon waters. Suggest you book on Trip Advisor to avoid the hotel concierge markup, and don't fret on the per/person fee...it's totally worth it for an exciting half-day excursion from the calm, respite of your resort visit.
This is by far the best experience we've ever had. We went out our honeymoon a year ago in 2018 and we still remember it as the best time we've ever had. Loved all the amazing sites we visited and the jet ski tour was so much fun! We stopped by so many little places to explore on our jet ski that we wouldn't have been able to visit without one. Our guide was amazing and gave us great tips on how to ride the jet ski. It was our first time on one but it was easy to learn. Easily the highlight of our trip!
We are on the Wind Spirit cruise ship. The price for these tours, two separate tours because there wasn't a combo tour, was $600 and did not include lunch. We paid less than half of that. The 4WD portion was very bumpy, but we were on dirt roads going up mountains and such. Jet skis were new Sea Doos and were a blast -- going around the Bora Bora lagoon was so beautiful. This was a very good tour.
it was terrific the lagoon of bora bora is crazy and the day was amazing. this combo is top. thanks again
We spent the day touring both land and lagoon and it was amazing. Two panoramic views that allow you to truly see Bora Bora the way it should be viewed. A stop at a United States WWII bunker and a visit to a sight where you can still see one of the cannons. It was from a distance but cool nonetheless. There were a couple of stops to share the history of the island, a brief stop to indulge in a snack of local fruits and fresh cracked open coconut milk. Once you've eaten fruits here it will be hard to enjoy them in the US again. There was also a stop to watch a demonstration in the making of a pareo (sarong). Both locations provided the opportunity to purchase souvenirs but there was no pressure to do so. Lunch at Bloody Mary's was next and it didn't disappoint. We were served from the lunch menu and my wife enjoyed her cheeseburger very much. I really enjoyed my fish (parrotfish, a delicate white fish) and chips. I wanted to go there for dinner but we can't seem to make it happen. Check out their website and and you'll see why. The wait staff was friendly and attentive to us. But that seems to be the norm here in the Polynesian Islands. Our last two hours was spent jetskiing around the island. Kevin from Moana Adventure Tours was our guide and he took us to some beautiful spots where we could just at soak it all in. He also brought us to a private island where we were free to roam before ending it with a demonstration of how to open a coconut. Had Tom Hanks taken this trip he may have had more success and been less of a Castaway ;) But seriously, the coconut water was again refreshing and the coconut milk was even better. From there it was more jetskiing and a whole lot of fun. So if you visit Bora Bora this is one excursion not to be missed but make sure when booking this one you ask for Moana Adventure Tours and Kevin.
This tour was so much fun! The 4wd tour took us to a couple of great vantage points with amazing views as well as all around the island. The guide was very funny and informative about the island and its history. He even played his ukulele and sang for us a bit. We saw how they sun-dye the sarongs, and got to see an elusive coconut crab, too. Lunch at Bloody Mary's was good, but nothing super special. (I hear the dinner experience there is worth checking out though.) After lunch it was time to ride jet skis. So much fun! Our guide, Joe, was great! Wear your aqua shoes becasue you get to tour a little island on one of the pit stops. There we were shown how to open a coconut and how to make coconut milk, too.
I highly recommend this combo tour. It was very well organised and enjoyable. The 4wd tour includes two short but steep climbs to great vantage points with spectacular views whilst the balance of the tour is around the island on the main roads. There is a number of stops to meet local people and the guide was very informative and passionate about the island and its people. Lunch was simple but very nice. You get the opportunity to leave bags, cameras and the like in the office after lunch, before getting on the jet skis. Make sure that you wear aquatic shoes on the jet ski tour as it includes a stop off on the motu and a walk out onto the reef. We also stopped in a number of amazing beach areas and were shown how to open a coconut and how to make coconut milk. Kevin, our jet ski guide was fantastic and really ensured that we had a great time. The tour includes a full circumnavigation of the main island. Very well organised and a great day out. Seeing Bora Bora from the hills and from the mountain on the one day was fantastic. The local guides were passionate and knowledgeable - even breaking into song at times.
Santiago was a very Funny, knowledgeable and thankfully Great Driver for our 4x4 excursion. We covered the island and mountains taking in stunning views while learning out the culture and island. Lunch at Bloody Mary’s was Delicious, it’s Definitely Not a tourist trap. Jet skiing was a Fun, unique way to see and appreciate the whole island and water!

We had a great time and Bloody Mary is a must. It was our first time on a Jetski and the guide was funny and kept watching for any one too far behind.

Loved this excursion, from the 4ed drive to lunch to the jet ski part too. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Loved the jet ski the most but the 4wd was good. Lunch was included at Bloody Mary's and was very good.

Was visiting Bora Bora for our honeymoon and we wanted to explore a bit of vaitape. the 4WD part of the tour does take you to a few spots you would never find otherwise with spectacular views of the motu. Bloody's Mary's is definitely a tourist spot but cool atmosphere inside. Our favorite part of this tour was definitely the jet skiing - our guide took us all around the island - it was my first time driving my own jet ski - loved every minute!
