An absolutely unforgettable experience! We visited The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort on a day pass, and from start to finish, we were treated like royalty. The level of service, the friendliness of the staff and the sheer beauty of the surroundings made this a truly special day. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone we encountered was welcoming, attentive and genuinely friendly. The beautiful lagoon was a highlight, with crystal-clear water and plenty of fish to admire. It was the perfect place to relax, soak up the sunshine and appreciate just how fortunate we were to be there. The day became even more memorable when my friend proposed to his partner. It was such a beautiful moment, and the staff kindly brought us champagne to celebrate with them. That thoughtful gesture made an already incredible experience feel even more special. It is those little touches of kindness that stay with you long after the day is over. The boat taxi to and from the shore was great fun and added another lovely touch to the experience. Practical details were also well taken care of, with plenty of parking and Wi-Fi available. Everything came together perfectly: the stunning location, delicious food, beautiful lagoon, wonderful people and exceptional hospitality. We felt welcomed, valued and completely looked after throughout the day. A truly magical experience in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special, and for helping create a memory that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience a little slice of paradise in Bora Bora!

My husband and I honeymooned here. It was absolute perfection. I've never seen a more beautiful resort. Every corner of the property is beautiful. You're surrounded by water everywhere you look. Our butler Diana was a sweetheart. The service is phenomenal. From the moment you land at the airport from the moment you leave on your departing flight, you do not have to lift a finger. Everyone who works at the hotel is so friendly and warm, from housekeeping to waitresses (shoutout to KAREN and the manager at the Italian restaurant). They anticipate your needs before you can anticipate your own. I STRONGLY recommend staying here. Our photographer said the St. Regis has the best view of the mountain. The food is also really good. And lastly, I read that the bungalows can feel dated, but that wasn't my experience (and I can be a tough critic). They were light, airy and fresh. Did not feel dark at all. In fact quite the opposite. I'd definitely go jet skiing when you're there. It was the best thing we did. We're 100% coming back!!
St. Regis Bora Bora is a luxury overwater resort on a private island in French Polynesia's South Pacific. It's built for couples celebrating something big—honeymoons, anniversaries, or just wanting to disappear into paradise together. What It's Actually Like: When you arrive by boat after that small-plane landing over the lagoon, the isolation hits immediately. The villas are genuinely enormous by overwater standards, with glass-floor sections so you can watch fish from your living room. Most have direct lagoon access from the terrace, and your private butler is available 24/7 if you need anything. The bicycles included with each villa are a nice touch for getting around without feeling rushed. Mount Otemanu dominates the view from almost everywhere—it's stunning and never gets old. The resort spreads across the island in a way that makes it feel quiet even when fully booked. You discover pockets of space that feel like you've found them yourself. What Actually Stands Out: The Lagoonarium—a man-made enclosed lagoon with safe snorkeling—is genuinely worthwhile. Colorful fish, corals, and a giant Napoleon wrasse named Moana make it easy for beginners. The resort runs a coral restoration program where you can actually help, and they'll email you updates on the coral's growth. It's one of the few resorts where environmental work feels authentic rather than performative. The Lagoon Restaurant is the standout dining experience—fine dining overlooking water with regional ingredients done well. Yes, it's pricey, but if you're going to splurge once, do it here. For sunset, the 727 Bar is genuinely worth the early arrival. The cocktails are creative and the light show over the water justifies the seat scramble. What You Should Know: This resort is expensive. Full stop. It's not a budget honeymoon destination. The location matters—you're paying for isolation and those views, which you'll either want desperately or find confining. It's best suited for couples, not families with young kids or solo travelers. The entire concept is built around that pairing. Who Should Go Book this if you want complete privacy, direct water access for snorkeling from your villa, and meals you'll actually remember. It's ideal for people celebrating an occasion who don't mind paying for the removal from everyday life. The resort delivers on that promise genuinely.
One of the most beautiful stays of my life. The resort is exceptional. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, luxurious, and relaxing. The rooms are huge, elegant, and very comfortable. The lagoon is absolutely breathtaking—you can see turtles and stingrays almost everywhere, making every walk or swim feel magical. The activities are amazing, the restaurants perfectly complement each other, and every meal was excellent. A special thank you to Charlotte, Hélène and our butler Jenna for their warm welcome and kindness throughout our stay. The entire team made this experience even more memorable.
Magical holiday in Paradise! We stayed 3 days at the beautiful St. Regis Bora Bora in a Lagoon overwater villa. We were stunned from the beauty of the island, the greenery and the amenities. The villa was very spaceous featuromg bedroom, large bathroom, livingroom and outdoor space. It is equipped with high quality bathroom amenities, coffee making facilities etc. The butler service is one of a kind: you can request fresh morning coffee to your villa that we enjoyed from the comfort of our balcony. The personal butler was also kind to book all our activities, restaurants and fulfilled special requests too. The food was absolutely amazing! We loved the Lagoon & Bamboo restaurants for dinner. The Lagoon is an upscale French overwater restaurant while the Bamboo is an Asian restaurant, we had delicious sushi and Asian delicacies. The resort has a marine biologist and its own lagoon conservation projects & activities which is very interesting if you would like to learn more about how to protect marine life. The beach of the resort is beautiful too, fully serviced during the day as well as serving delicious bites during the day. The level of the service was very high, the highest we have ever experienced in Bora Bora. If I had to compare with another resort of a same category, the service and food quality is definitely the highest here. Moreover, the resort feels calm at all times, no crowds, the emloyees are very much professional as well (no rallying with carts etc) We also booked a 2-tank dive with them which was very pleasant, we had so much fun and have seen many manta and leopard rays. We had an unforgettable experience and hope to be back to the resort soon!
