A little island/motu with a beautiful resort with over-the-water bungalows and suites. One can only get here by the resort's own boats so it is very secluded. The staff is professional, friendly, and always smiling which made our stay very welcoming and warm. The water was amazing and shallow that made our experience here exceptional. Overall, one of the best resorts and experience here in Tahiti.

This is the most beautifully landscaped and designed resort we have enjoyed in all of French Polynesia. Our over the water bungalow was stunning and well designed. The snorkeling at the onsite Coral Garden was the best snorkeling we have enjoyed anywhere in the world. The resort is smaller and more intimate that some of the mega resorts. Overall all Le Taha’a is superior to the other two resorts we have stayed at (Bora Bora and Moorea). We will definitely be back.
We chose Le Taha’a after considering other resorts on Bora Bora, we made the right choice and were blown away by Le Taha’a!!!! We came to celebrate our recent marriage and our 50th birthdays. The location is incredible with gorgeous views and endless turquoise water, our over the water bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly decorated. The accommodations were very private and luxurious, and the entire resort felt empty though it was full. We spent a lot of time in the water (close proximity to the Coral Garden was a huge bonus). The ground were gorgeous and the service top notch, we felt pampered and loved throughout our stay. Food was great, spa was perfect, everything was simply magical. Perfect location for a couples vacation that is both relaxing and immersed in gorgeous nature, highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at Le Taha’a! We had a bungalow with a fantastic ocean and sunset view, though many of them have views more toward the island. We had a great time snorkeling right from our bungalow. We found an area nearby where we saw rays every day, and a bit farther out are some coral areas teeming with colorful fish. Just be aware that currents can be strong especially around high or low tide! On the other side of the resort is the Coral Garden. We got the tip to walk to the other end and ride the current through, which was a lot of fun but you don’t want to do it at low tide. Food was excellent. I recommend not prepaying for a lunch or dinner plan, we almost always spent less paying à la carte than we would have prepaying, and enjoyed the flexibility of going to different restaurants or getting room service. We really enjoyed some of the dishes at the beach restaurant because they were lighter, but it’s not open for dinner most nights. I highly recommend the Safari Lagoon activity. It is 3 stops: first, snorkeling with rays which come right up to you; second, a larger coral garden than the one at the resort; and finally, swimming with reef sharks. We jumped off the boat and there were around 15-20 of them all around, it was amazing! The staff were all very friendly and went to lengths to make sure our stay was special.
I only gave this fives because there is no 6 or 7. From the moment we landed in Raitea we were pampered by the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever experienced. Every detail of the resort including the landscaping, the decor and layout of the rooms and all the restaurants were gorgeous. And did I mention how great the staff is! They all great you with a smile and I orana (sort of like aloha). The coral garden is a several hundred yard drift snorkel through a beautiful reef with fish of every imaginable shape and color. And the gourmet restaurant here is a Michelin Star worthy special treat. If you come don't miss it
