A guider was very knolegible. We were given many tios regarding where to go to eat and experience a bit of italian life style .

The weather was terrible to do this walking tour, felt we did not enjoy the tour as much since it was walking and outdoor and with the rain it was hard to do. The guide was great!

Barbara was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about Bologna and its history. As we went along, she also engaged with locals about current happenings that we were curious about, which was very interesting. Her orientation to the whole city, with tips for shortcuts along the way, was extremely helpful to me later on as I toured on the city my own.

My husband and I really enjoyed this walking tour with friendly and kind Gabi. Gabi showed us so much that we never would have seen on our own, nor known the history behind. We love off-the-beaten-path experiences that make us feel connected to a city and this tour really hit that mark for us. Thank you, Gabi, for a really unique experience, for the best pizza we had during our entire stay in Rome, and for the excellent restaurant recommendations, which we took advantage of as well! Three hours well spent, taking the tour with Isadora allowed us to learn the highlights but also some detailed information on each of the Bologna’s attractions, this walking tour was a great decision.i

This tour made all the difference to our first experience of Bologna. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our tour guide Barbara was so knowledgeable and we learnt so many things we could never have found in a guide book or on a regular tour. Excellent.

Frederik was kind enough to fit us in on a national holiday and accommodated our time request. He tied together Bologna's history with its landmarks. He recommended places to return to during our stay, including dining recommendations. The tour concluded with a visit to a enoteca con gastronomia with a nice selection of Bologna wines.

Guide Frederick was knowledgeable and native to Bologna. He grew up in Bologna and has deep knowledge of the arts, classical music, and Opera that helped to enrich our experience.

Mario was amazing. The tour was detailed and he went out of his way to teach us the history of Bologna. Some tours are good and then there is the occasional great tour. Mario was great!

We were excited to take a walking tour through Rome with Gabi. We had taken two previous experiences with him and he's such a wonderful person and such fun to be with. My daughter had been to Rome before, but I hadn't, so I was interested to see it for myself. There's no better person to show you Rome than Gabi, a native who can tell you all the history and culture of the city. He's so good at what he does! It was such a pleasure spending time with Gabi and seeing Rome through his eyes. I'd highly recommend this online experience.

We booked this walking tour with Gabi on our first night in Rome. It was a great way to see the city! Gabi showed us the popular sites and some hidden gems; he knows the city and its people very well and he adapted the tour to meet our interests. Perfect English, very nice atmosphere and we have seen and heard things that we would never expereinced without Roberta our guide. It is a great way to learn about places and topics besides the most famous monuments and you can tailor the experience as you like for the private tour which i also great for children.

A great way to get to know the city and the good food spots. Our guide Gabi was very knowledgeable and friendly. We strolled several different neighborhoods from the Vatican to Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto and in between! We stopped at several landmarks and for delicious bites. I enjoyed the best cannoli I have ever had and our 9 year old enjoyed a very delicious gelato! Yummy!

Had a great walk with Simone in Rome - he was very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Great to meet a person who loves to wander as much as I do because this is the best way to learn about the city! Simone showed us the best spots off the beaten track and told us about life in Rome and Romans. And, of course, we tasted some local snacks and drinks! I can highly recommend to everyone to go for a walk around gorgeous Rome with Simone, I’m sure you will see the place from a different angle!

We had a great tour with Simone. With our shared Dutch background we had quite an exciting bike trip😊 Simone has great knowledge of the city of Rome, its history and showed us the park, trendy neigbourhoods and some touristy highlights which still felt like we were off the beaten track. He also treated us to lovely icecream and recommended a beautiful restaurant. We totally recommend Simone!

We've been to Rome several times but Chiara took us to places we didn't know existed. She was easy to be with and showed us what it's like to be a Romen in 2019. Chiara is very friendly, open to adjustments, informative, casual, and she made our tour an experience.

We liked Chiara, she was a very nice person and we got on well with her but... She is a local that can not take us to all the famous sights of Rome because she is not a licensed 'tour guide' and will be fined if caught... Yes, we asked for a local to give us her view of Rome but expected to walk past and hear about the famous sights as well. I thought that was what we would be paying for... A little disappointed by this, and also she seemed a little bored towards the end and cut our walk short by half and hour. Probably because there was nothing else to show us since we could not see the sights!!

My sons and I had a great afternoon with Simone. He was very observant and made the tour very personal for us.

Me and my wife enjoyed our tour with Paola. She was flexible with our schedule and catered the tour to our liking. We learned a lot about the history, culture and events. She gave us so much information, insights and the significance of the places we went to. We were also able to try the local's favourite bread and Spritz! I had a wonderful tour with Paola! She must love Rome herself. We kept discovering small charms on a street while we were walking together. You need a good guide to fully enjoy Rome because there are so much history and details you will not notice, otherwise. After you join her tour, you will like Rome more than before!

Paola was terrific! She took my family of four to whatever we wanted to see and she gave us a locals perspective on the history of the neighborhoods. She told us where to buy things like a local and we sampled some tasty treats. Paola was patient and kind, I would not hesitate to tour with her!

Eleonora was a fun, joyful, knowledgeable guide. You could tell she loves her city. She included personalized information, treated us to several Rome specialties. We laughed and learned. Felt like we spent an afternoon with an old friend. She pointed out and she splashed things of interest we would have missed on our own. She also showed an interest in all four people in our private group. We were sad that the tour came to an end but grateful for the time we had with her.

We really enjoyed our morning with Eleonora! It was great to visit old town Rome and learn about the origins and developement of the city. We took a liesurely paced stroll through an area that most tourists don't get to see on the more popular tours of the main attractions, (which we had seen already on a previous visit.) We highly recommend the tour with Mara to the astonishing Graffitis of Rome! Mara speeks very good English and explaines a lost to the paintings and the artists.

My granddaughter and I had Sara as our guide. She was wonderful! She customized our tour to show us things we were interested in. She knew the shortcuts, small back streets and history of Rome. She even took us to her favorite gelatoria founded in 1915 and bought us gelato! Do not hesitate to use Sara as your guide!

when looking for a tour guide, simone stood out as someone who was willing to customize an experience for our specific needs. we exchanged ideas and booking the custom tour was easy. i thought meeting him would be challenging given the crowds but we saw him right away and took off on our tour. simone was welcoming and personable. he was very engaging as he gave us some history on what we saw. when we were done, he assisted us in getting a cab back to our hotel as well as followed up by sending us many restaurant recommendations in both rome and naples knowing we were heading there the next day. getting a locals perspective on rome was so valuable to us and i would highly recommend simone as your tour guide should you find yourself in rome and need a friendly face to show you around!

My daughter and I spent a great time in Rome on a walk with Chiara. Since we had already visited all the important monuments and must-sees we wanted to see more of the areas not so frequented by tourists, the "hidden gems", authentic restaurants, markets and little shops where Romans eat and buy, learn about daily life in Rome, etc. Chiara took us on an entertaining walk through the areas of Campo di Fiori, Trastevere and Monti. We spent a great afternoon together, had a little snack here, gelato there, ending up full of new impressions of this amazing city (and exhausted and hungry) in a small enoteca recommended by Chiara - thanks a lot, Chiara!

She’s brilliant and knowledgeable. Aside of the walks scope, she shared extra information about Rome and other Italy cities that helpful for the future trip. 3 hour walks would not be sufficient to go through entire historical spots in Rome. Overall, it’s an awesome tour with her.

Gabi was a wonderful host and a very proud Romen - exactly what we were hoping for! We had seen the main big tourist attractions and wanted to see alternative things that often get overlooked. We also wanted to know his choices for where to drink great coffee...eat great pasta...relax with aperitivo ...enjoy quality cannoli... We saw so much more that we would have missed and really enjoyed his company.

Our morning with Eleonora was absolutely amazing. We saw places in Rome we never would have seen otherwise. Rambling through sleepy streets and hearing about the buildings and culture was just fabulous. The pizza was so delicious we will be going back today and the gelato was just perfect. Eleonora is an absolute gem and made us feel so welcome and was so engaging and kind. She really made my 13 year old feel involved and enjoy the trip. The cat ruins were her favourite! Wouldly highly recommend this tour. I will be back with my husband and rebooking Eleonora for a longer tour. Cannot say enough.

Eleonora is a great guide. She is very engaging, interested and full of quirky information. The pace was good with no lingering about especially since it was a tad chilly! Her knowledge of the architecture is expectedly outstanding.

We booked a WithLocals tour for our first day in Rome to help us get acclimated to the city. I cannot say enough what a pleasure it was to spend a few hours with Eleonora upon our arrival in Rome. Eleonora was so sweet and comfortable to be around, by the end of the trip we felt as though we were leaving a friend! She was so very knowledgeable and brought us on a nice tour (A Day Like a Roman). I truly enjoyed my time with her and would book another tour with her if I were to return to Rome. She is great!! We were able to experience a great authentic pizza bakery, eat some gelato, and explore the city!

Gabi was a great host. We almost missed our tour because we got lost walking to the meeting point. Luckily Gabi waited 20 minutes past our meeting time and made several attempts to reach us. He is a very knowledgeable friendly host that speaks great English. Really made us feel welcomed and comfortable in Rome just a few hours after landing.
