Great day seeing area outside of Bologna. Great lunch, balsamic tasting, and tasting parmigiana reggiano.Ferrari museum interesting. Our driver was wonderful.

This is an experience you just have to take Our driver was Michael and although he's not an official guide he gave great commentary and local insights.the tour itself was amazing So much food cheese at the parmigiana dairy was amazing vinegar at Modena like nothing you can taste at home. The highlight was definitely lunch it was so good and huge servings. There were only the 2 of us in a very comfortable late model bus the driver very professional and accommodating If you only do 1 tour out of Bologna make it this
Awesome tour, small group just 4 of us!!! The others were fellow Aussies. Michael our driver was an absolute gentleman. The cheese, the balsamic, the winery and Ferrari Museum were amazing especially lunch at The Winery.
It was a good day, enhanced by the other people on the tour that we met. It was a lot of money for the experience. Not sure that we can recommend it.
It is a full day of activity with nonstop visits in Modena. Good for those wanting a lot to see. Each stop is pleasant and educational. Would not mind a little slower pace though. The Balsamic vinegar factory with lunch was a favorite. Our driver Michael was delightful and very helpful. He made the day most enjoyable. Of course, the Ferrari factory/museum is a special treat not to be missed. A very enjoyable day.
Everyone was friendly, the locations were interesting - particularly the balsamic and parmigiana tours. The winery tour is more about lunch than a stroll or visit to grounds. All of the businesses felt small and family oriented except Ferrari - which is fascinating but much larger scale than everything else
Perfect way to spend the day learning about how Parmesan cheese is made. We were very lucky to be able to taste the cheese of the white cow…delicious! Our tour of the Lambrusco winery was quite an experience. The museum is full of amazing relics and we were lucky enough to meet the owner, Giacobazzi! The balsamic vinegar was incredible! Learning how long it takes to mature and eating a fantastic lunch at this quaint B&B was a great way to end the foody portion of the tour. Highly recommend, especially if you’re also into seeing the history of the Lamborghini, which is also quite amazing!
The dairy and cheese tasting was excellent. Our tour guide there was wonderful. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The remaining tours were not as engaging. For example, the balsamic vinegar tour started in a hot, stuffy attic. That was important, because the history of the "family" barrels was fascinating to see, but it was a 97° day, and the guide continued to give the talk in that stifling room! I finally had to leave. To her credit, she finished the tour outside in the shade, but I think she should have been more tuned in? Also, our driver, Alberto, although prompt and nice, drove like a crazy man! It was a scary. It may be typical for Italy, but, again, maybe adjust to your audience? Having said all that, I did appreciate getting to cross 4 things off my list in one tour, and I was glad not to have to get in a car again the next day. The vehicle did have air conditioning, which was mandatory in the hot weather, and the small group (there was only one other couple in the van with us), was really nice, so we could spread out. A 3 out of 5 is pretty accurate for our experience.
This was a fantastic experience and a great value. It was fun for all of our family with something for everyone.
Great experience visiting the Parmesan factory the Balsamic vinegar factory at a family’s private farm where we had lunch a very nice winery which had an amazing collection of rare cars collection by the owner and at last the visit to the Ferrari museum. The guide and our driver was a very nice person and very courteous
It was a very personal and informative tour. The cheese factory and tasting as well as the family owned balsamic vinegar asceta were amazing. The lunch we had at the agriturismo was wonderful. I would recommend this trip!
Excellent tour of the region. All 4 experiences were nicely done. Experience was Informative and immersive.
The trip was well organized, the driver was professional, van was comfortable, and the tours were all amazing. Impossible to be hungry after this tour. The Lambrusco tour was great, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cheese and Parmesan farm were incredible, and eating lunch in the vinegar producers home was a surreal homey experience.
We had our own transportation. It was an amazing tour , each leg of the experience was outstanding! Stefania did an incredible job at the parmigiana farm . Chiara was such a great , knowledgeable hostess at Giacobazzi winery . Next , the visit at the balsamic vinegar place along with the tasting and the lunch was unbelievable! All deserves five stars . Lastly , the Ferrari Museum in Marranelo was the icing on the cake . Loved the entire day !
Very nice tour with excellent guides. There was more than enough time at all four stops. Learned a lot at each stop.
One of the best day trips I've ever taken. We visited a cheese farm, a traditional balsamic producer, had a fantastic agriturismo lunch, and finished at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello — a genuinely perfect mix of food, culture, and excitement. Everything was well organized, the guides were knowledgeable and passionate, and the food and tastings alone were worth the price. The Ferrari Museum was the cherry on top. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the region. You won't be disappointed!
The best tour of the week for a returning Italian vacationer. We missed Bologna the first time around, what a shame. The best food of the week!
We booked this tour expecting a premium experience given the very high price point — about $450 USD per person — but unfortunately it did not feel worth the cost. The day also started off poorly because the pickup situation was a complete mess. Our tour was confirmed, and we waited at the original designated pickup location, only to later realize there had been a new message with an updated meeting point. The updated location was difficult to find, which created unnecessary stress and confusion at the start of the day. The Parmesan cheese portion was by far the most interesting and informative part of the tour. We learned a lot about the production process, and it was the one stop that felt detailed and authentic. That said, we were disappointed to see that the cows appeared to spend their entire lives indoors without access to pasture or grass, which left us feeling sad. The balsamic vinegar stop was enjoyable but felt shorter and less in-depth than we expected. We would have liked more explanation and interaction during that portion of the tour. Lunch there was also hit-or-miss — one of us enjoyed it, while the other thought it was just okay. The wine tasting and museum felt mostly like filler. The museum at the winery was not especially memorable, and the tasting itself did not add much value to the overall experience. We got to see the vintner’s museum collection of old stuff but nothing about the actual process of making wine. The Ferrari museum is exactly what it sounds like: a large collection of Ferrari cars and memorabilia. If you are a major car enthusiast, you will probably enjoy it much more than we did. For those who are not particularly interested in cars, it can feel repetitive and not especially engaging. Our driver, Alberto, was polite enough, but there was very little interaction throughout the day. He mainly transported us silently from one location to another and did not provide much commentary, energy, or personality, which made the experience feel less engaging than we expected for a guided tour at this price point. Overall, while there were a few highlights, the experience did not justify the extremely high price tag for us.
An absolutely wonderful tour of the cheese making facilities and the beautiful white cows that produce the milk for the cheese. Followed by an extensive tasting of the actual cheeses across several ages. Our guide was delightful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
A wonderful day exploring the best of the Bologna countryside. We started at the Parmagiano factory which was so interesting, moved on to the Balsalmic family estate, on to a family winery for a delicious lunch and wine tasting, and finally to the Ferrari museum to make the husbands happy. Our driver Raoul was very kind. Small group.
A very complete experience. We could meet local producers, taste many products, and enjoy a nice lunch. The Ferrari museum added something different to the day. Everything was smooth and easy. We recommend this tour
We had a wonderful day on this tour. In advance, Maria was patient and flexible with me to provide the experience our family was looking for. All tickets were booked in advanced, so I didn’t have to do any of the organizing. Alberto was our driver, and he was friendly and professional throughout the day. We weren’t originally planning the dairy farm and balsamic tour, but we’re so happy we experienced both! We would recommend this company and tour experience to anyone.
Our guide Frank was very friendly and informative. He taught us Italian terms, tips on foods in the different regions of Italy. Explained to us the differences in geography in the region we toured.
This was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the day we felt well taken care of and treated like VIPs. Despite being fairly adventurous on our own, my husband and I both believe we would have never made it to all of these places and received the same treatment in just one day. It was a fast pass to the heart of the Emilia Romana region and a true cannot-miss if you only have a few days in the area. Don’t think twice, book this tour!
We had a really great day on this full-day tour. It’s a nice mix of food and cars, with visits to a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy and a traditional balsamic producer, plus plenty of tastings along the way. The Ferrari Museum was a fun way to end the day. Everything was well organized and easy. Definitely a good way to spend a day near Bologna
Excellent tour. Each of the four activities is given just the right amount of time. They are close to each other, so not too much travelling. Our van was super comfortable and the drive very friendly. The lunch at the end to round everything off was delicious. At each spot we had expert guides who really cared about their products. Highly recommend this tour.
Very good service. Driver was very kind. The tour was very interesting and gave a unique experience about the region. Highly recommended for those looking for new experience and discovery.
Wonderful experience visiting each sight and throughly enjoyed our tour guides and their knowledgeable facts of the areas. Highly recommend!
Great experience! Delicious and informative trip. Pick up was super easy. Kevin our driver was wonderful
We had a wonderful day. Our guide Alberto was professional and attentive. He was very helpful throughout the day and made sure we were well looked after. Also, his driving was excellent! I highly recommend this tour. We learned so much about the production of parmigiano and also the intricacies of producing balsamic. Our lunch and tasting at the winery was delicious. Of course completing the tour at the Ferrari museum was amazing. Thank you Alberto! We had fantastic time.
Kevin, our driver was fantastic. He was punctual and attentive. Had chargers for us and told us a little bit of history. Each site was VERY interesting. We had a great day. We never usually book 8+ hour tours but wanted to be efficient on our trip. The day flew by. We were out by 7:45AM and back by 4ish PM. Plenty of time to still enjoy the rest of the day.
What a fun day! Loved seeing the process of making Parmigiano-Reggiano and trying the various ages of the cheese. The ricotta at the tasting is the freshest you will ever get. The next tour guide did a great job explaining the difference between traditional balsamic and the more common vinegar sold as balsamic. What an amazing family business - we even met the current owner, who is still managing barrels of vinegar started six generations earlier. We then had a private tour of an organic winery by the current manager of the business followed by lunch prepared by his mother. The afternoon concluded with an hour at the Ferrari museum - good thing it was not a test drive, as after all the wine at the previous stops, I could not have driven a Chevy let alone a sports car! Our driver was very prompt, polite, and friendly; as noted when we booked this tour, his role was only to drive us from location to location and not to act as a tour guide. This was a great day - every event was as advertised. The price is quite expensive - you are paying for convenience, as the total cost of the four tours was probably only a bit above 100 Euros per person. That said, the whole day was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
The stops on the tour were fantastic. It was a fun day and we saw many different places. The guides at each stop were very knowledgeable and helpful.
The tours were incredible. Very informative and the hosts at each venue were very hospitable. The driver never talked to us or introduced himself, it was like he didn’t want to be there.
We had a great time on this tour. We would definitely recommend this tour. The Parmigiana tour was excellent. As was the balsamic Vinegar tour. The owner stopped by to visit with us, it was excellent. The Ferrari. Useum was OK, I think we would have preferred to do just the winery tour, spend more time there.
Perfect combination of events. Duration at each location was perfect. Lunch was delicious. Local guides were excellent. Pickup and drop off at our hotel was seamless. Highly recommend!
Lovely experience learning about parmigiana and balsamic vinegar. All guides were great especially our driver
Very organized from start to finish that really helped make this tour a complete success! We loved the Parmigiana tour and learned so much about Balsamic Vinegar , Ferrari and the wine tour put the cherry on the cake!
Enjoyed each experience. The driver was friendly, the location were interesting and the food/drinks were exceptional.
Our driver Gabriele was super friendly and nice to talk to. The visits were very informative, and the guides were bare to respond to all our questions. Ah, lunch was amazing, hand made tortellini were the best! Ferrari Museum a must when you are in the area
If you’re looking for something interesting to do in the Bologna region this tour is a great option. The two food tours were quite educational and delicious, and the winery visit & lunch gave us an appreciation for the local wine and food. Ending at the Ferrari Museum was also fun because we saw works of art with 4 wheels — simply amazing cars; all the display explanations were also in English which enabled us to enjoy the cars even more.
STUNNING!! A great day cheese and wine tasting ending at the Ferrari Museum. Highly recommended. Albert was a great driver and guide. 5 stars
We really enjoyed our day trip to Modena where we got to visit a dairy farm and see how parmigiano reggiano is made. From there we visited a balsamic vinegar estate and enjoyed lunch there. The Ferrari museum in Maranella was great. The last stop was to a Lambrusco winery. Our driver Alberto was great and I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to explore highlights of the Emilia-Romagna region.
from the pick up service from my hotel, to the first stop at the cheese company to see how Parmigiano is made and the tasting was amazing. The Lambrusco wine tour was a history lesson and a beautiful history of how the company started, and the wines were wonderful. The Balsamic aceto home was outstanding-the understanding how the balsamic is made and the family estate was incredibly impressive. The lunch was outstanding, a long long list of incredible foods that went along with the two type of Balsamic's that accompanied the foods and desserts. Ending with the Ferrari museum, which was informative if you are a car/formula one fan. All in all the day was fantastic and would reccommend this tour.
Very well organized days, all the guides are very knowledgeable, they did a great job explaining and showing us how local delicacies are made. Great day full of fun and food)
A wonderful day filled with such uniques experiences We had enough time with each tour Safe and Respectful Driver
This tour was very enjoyable from beginning to end. Our driver, Francesco, was an excellent driver and our hosts/guides at each stop were welcoming and informative. The Ferrari museum was our main focus, and before the tour, we wondered if we should have just arranged our own trip there, but we are glad we went with this tour because we would have missed out on a lot of good experiences.
Fantastic day and great tour guide/driver! He was extremely knowledgeable. Locations were AMAZING!!! Especially the Parm tour!
All of the tours that we went on were great. Our driver was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed all of the experiences. Great to see local farm operations and the Ferrari Museum was spectacular.
