Wasn't able to download app, very confusing. Disappointed that we paid for the tour and couldn't use it.

Itinerary
The Piazza di Porta Ravegnana (originariamente Porta Ravennate) is a city square in the central of Bologna, region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The Piazza, located some four blocks east of the Piazza Maggiore and Cathedral of Bologna, is the site of the Two Towers of Bologna. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
The Palazzo Isolani is a palace located on located on Via Santo Stefano #16 facing Piazza Santo Stefano in the center of Bologna, region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, with both Gothic and Renaissance architecture features. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
Often used for cultural events, flea-markets and concerts, it has porticos along both long sides (North-East and South-West) with the Basilica occupying the short (South-East) side. To the left of the Basilica is a complex of buildings joined by the powerful medieval Isolani family. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
From the 15th to the 17th century this space was dedicated to the silk market, while the Palazzo dell'Archiginnasio was only built starting from 1563, with the consequent demolition of the nearby block and the opening of a large space, the future Piazza Galvani, which would have given greater decoration and prominence to the building itself. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
The “Quadrilateral” is a bustling area in Bologna’s city centre with a craft, mercantile and trading tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. You cross the tall perspective archways leaving the elegant Piazza Maggiore behind you to venture into the narrow fragrant alleyways of the ancient market of Medieval origin with the characteristic “holes”. This area boasts a long tradition of specialized handicraft and commercial activities. Shops that have often been handed down through the generations sell the same category of goods or have still kept their historic architecture and furnishings. There are also examples of modern architecture that have preserved the external and internal spaces in line with the original projects, as well as a few historic chemist shops that still maintain the atmosphere of old pharmacies. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
The fountain was completed in 1565. The over-life-size bronze figure of the god Neptune was completed and fixed in place around 1567. The statue was an early design by Giambologna, who had submitted a model for the Fountain of Neptune in Florence, but had lost the commission to Baccio Bandinelli. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
The torresotto, or Porta Nova gate, belongs to the second ring of walls, the so-called Torresotti ring, completed in 1192. The ring was 4 Km long and included 16 gates and 2 posterns (small inconspicious doors). The walls were 8 m high and decorated with brick merlons (solid upright structures). Three rings of walls built over several centuries surrounded the whole city. The oldest ring, made of seleni- te (a common local stone) blocks, was made centuries earlier than the last one corresponding to the current inner ring road. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
Torre Prendiparte (Prendiparte Tower), also known as Coronata Tower, was built in the 12th century by the guelph Prendiparte family as a means of defence. ... Thanks to the typical "Bolognese" red and solid bricks and to the strong selenite blocks the tower looks like an impregnable medieval fortress. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.
Sat half way along the student street, Via Zamboni, Piazza Verdi is a hive of activity every day, thronging with students and bon vivants alike. Home to ‘La Scuderia’ Café, it is a natural meeting point and arguably the hub of ‘il giro di Bologna’, Bologna’s social scene, a constant cycle of events, concerts, markets, street performances and club nights. Besides the street parties and the cheap beer, however, Piazza Verdi is a fascinating social melting pot and offers a unique opportunity to see many different layers of Italian society overlap. Here you will have to look around to find the answer to our challenge to advance to the new location and learn the story of this place.

we had to pay , download an app , very fiddly. once we got to the meeting point , which wasn’t that clear , lots of construction . we got an arrow to point up at the twin towers then nothing more . reported it got another link the day leaving - don’t waste your money
So much fun! Great and interesting way to learn about and see the sights of Bologna at OUR pace!! Will definitely do more quests in other cities.
Really fun and nice way to visit the city and explore hidden treasures benifiting from historical anecdotes and fin facts
We did this experience as a way to explore the city with a bit of structure, allowing us to get to know the layout of a city totally new to us. It was so much fun and highly recommend it! We really took our time exploring where our adventure took us and it actually took us almost a day (we took a midday nap halfway to beat the sun). We could have absolutely done this much faster if we wanted to, but enjoyed taking our time, wandering the city and going into some of the locations we were brought to. A fantastic way to explore!
Would have been great if it worked properly . Sadly the map links were wrong and therefore didn’t correspond with the clues. A real shame and both my daughter and I really enjoyed .
This was an interesting concept since I really like scavenger hunt-style games, but we found it an extremely frustrating experience due to scaffolding covering major clues, missing statues due to construction work and really poor directions. So poor that even with the extra help of a picture, we still couldn't find the actual location of one site. We got so frustrated that we stopped the game mid-way through. Found the story-line annoying and the puzzles less than clever. I liked the concept, but the execution for this particular game was less than stellar.
A fun, cheap way to see secrets of bologna. Really cool! We took some breaks in between the sights and then continued on, so it’s a perfect way to see the city in a relaxed way.
Great way to visit the city. The story part was pretty fun, and I learned a lot about the city even though I live here. It wasn't that usual textbook stuff, more like legends and stuff. Definitely recommend!
Was great introduction to the city, with it's secrets. Considering to "play" in every new city the Questo
Give really interesting facts about city, eventho sometime the puzzels are abit difficults (and something it's humerous!) . Great to play with friends.
This was a really fun way to explore Bologna at our own pace. It was easy to stop and take a break to explore or get food whenever we wanted and spend as much/little time at any of the stops as we wanted. A couple of the directions were a little confusing but we got ourselves back on track without much difficulty.
My daughter and I enjoyed this Quest. We saw and learned a lot about the City. Things to improve on? The info should probably be updated on a regular basis. We lost a lot of time on the first question and again later on, because of construction that had happened to the clue that was given. Also, we walked a lot more than the 3K they said it would take :) But all in all it was a lot of fun!
We enjoyed very much the game as an alternative way to discover the sights and find out about the history of the city and its famous people. You can stop anywhere or do it in one go, it’s very flexible to use. Looking forward to try it in other cities!
THIS IS FANTASTIC!! Totally immersive, interesting, and informative! Wonderful storyline with fun puzzles and activities. You get to learn a lot of history. Great, affordable way to explore Bologna! All of my friends loved it!
It was an enjoyable and fun way to discover the city and some of it's secrets. You must try one of the Questo's Exploration Games and you will completely change the way you do a citybrake.
The game helped us discover Bologna. We found it very interesting and well done. There was balance between the story of the game and the story of Bologna. It is easy to pause the game whenever you want and enjoy every church or place near the track of the plot. We did this. It's worth a lot!
Improper location of places lack of precision, wrong photos once you find the place by miracles it is easier to find answers photos and indications of places to review
We had a lot of fun playing the game. You see the city with different eyes. We will definitely rent a game again.
It was quite a hassle to get the game up and running, eventually needed the support. and the game itself is quite tricky.
Beautiful game, only flaw there is in Italian language. But with the help of the translator we still managed. We recommend it to everyone to know interesting things about cities.
Only after purchase was it indicated that the tour is not suitable for children. After two very difficult tasks, we had to give up.
Thrown money, it said it was in Spanish but it was only the app, the explanations were in English and we could not make the escape. We contacted the Enterprise and they haven't even answered
In addition to the idol of the quota, there are also explanations of the place. Interesting explanations are full of things that fill the beauty of the city with interesting content. Not related to the place.
Wonderful quest! Best urban quest we've ever played. Interesting story, lots of secret places in town, long enough walk. If you dilute the quest with a visit to churches and towers along the route, as well as sitting in cafes, you can spend half a day like this. Highly recommended
