Bologna Private City Kickstart Tour

With locals cancelled with me on the day of my tour. They just sent an email saying cancelled and refund issued and no one else was available to go in their place. Then when I followed up and asked if an alternative tour guide might be available they said yes but the fee was double!!! I will never use them again. A very disappointing experience.

We did a kickstart city tour with Frederik and he was great! It was sweltering hot so he was very thoughtful to keep us in the shade as much as possible and let us take our time since we had two kids with us. He knows a lot about Bologna and this was a nice way to start our trip!

Absolutely first-class tour of Bologna. Frederik did exactly what we asked him to do and gave us an amazing tour of the city, showing us things we would never have found on our own. He really knows the city inside out and gave us some useful tips for the rest of our stay.

VERY knowledgeable guide. Great overview of the city. This allowed us to focus on revisiting those sites we were most interested in. Guide was very accommodating on the pace , since my wife has some knee issues.

We had a walking tour that gave us a good sense of Bologna's history. It was our first visit to the city so it was great to have someone educating us.

Frederik was very informative and a pleasure to walk around Bologna with. He had great knowledge of Bologna and really educated my group in a fun way. In the.end he also gave us great tips for what do consider seeing after the tour and was even able to get us an on the spot reservation at a restaurant off the main square for a party of ten. Definitely recommend him for touring Bologna!

Great introduction! Justin was very personable and gave a great overview of the highlights of central Bologna. He told funny and interesting tidbits.

We liked to visit the seven churches and the Jewish getto, with our guide and hear the stories about the history of the city.

Jason was informative and pleasant to be with. His list of recommendations and tips was also of good value. The tour was just the right duration for us before we left to have a nice long lunch.

The tour was cancelled 5 minutes before it was set to leave. We had gotten up early and took a train to get there. We were waiting at the meet up place 15 minutes before we were supposed to be there.

Our guide was met us promptly at the agreed meeting point. Liam was friendly and very knowledgeable. He enjoyed answering our questions. It was a real pleasure to walk round the city with him. Thank you.

We have a fabulous tour of Bologna with our host Daria, who is a most obliging, helpful and informative guide with excellent English. A wonderful city with lots of 'secrets' to be discovered. This was an ideal way to visit the city, we would have missed out on many things if we toured on our own
