Riccardo Bacchi was a fantastic tour guide! You can tell he loves telling people about the history of Bologna and this makes the tour very enjoyable. His passion for the job is infectious. By the end if the tour we loved Bologna as well! As a result we stayed long enough the next day to see more of Bologna than we had originally planned. Riccardo was able to get us into see some sites that were closed to the general public. We even got to taste some rice cake made from a medieval recipe (delicious!) and sample the local wine. We highly recommend this tour to everyone! It is a great way to get an expansive overview of the city in a few hours. We learned about art, education, commerce, architecture and science.
