Loved the entire day. It was educational and tasty! I loved learning how Parmesan, Balsamic vinegar, and sparkling Lambrusco are produced. The guides at each venue we visited were gracious and very informative. Each venue provided generous and delicious tastings at the end of each tour of the production facilities. Lunch, which included a wide variety of delicious regional dishes, was fantastic and oh so filling! Valentina, our guide for the day, was excellent! She shared knowledge of the geography and history of the region that contributed to the production of the products we tasted, as well as the foods common in this region and those we had at lunch. Consequently, I would highly recommend this tour to any foodies visiting Bologna!

Valentina G was a fantastic guide and filled with information about specifics of the region and general information. Experience, food and Lambrusco was amazing.
Wonderful day trip and guide Stephania was fantastic.
Stefania is a very warm and embracing guide and hostess who makes sure everybody feels welcome. Alex drives the bus very smoothly.
All I can say is… Jump, don’t walk and make the most of this incredible experience. It will be one of your most favourite memories of Bologna and its surrounding food valley. Firstly. Our guide, Stefania, was highly organised and very knowledgeable, sharing interesting and curious insights about sites, food and production processes. Our driver, Alex, was calm and professional. We were well looked after. Because it’s a small group. We had only 17 people, many of us were able to chat and exchange stories and experiences from our own parts of the world. The typical lunch, arranged by Stefania, in a local trattoria. finished the day trip with the most delicious meal and great company. From the cheese factory to the balsamic vinegar and Lambrusco winery to the long luncheon, it’s impossible to have a better experience that this. I will recommend this tour to all my friends. Thank you Stefania and Alex for a wonderful day out.
Fantastic day! Highlight of our trip. Steffi and Alex were wonderful. We learned a ton and enjoyed the food and wine.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Bologna! Our guide, Stefania was amazing. She was friendly, fun and kept everyone engaged. She added additional context throughout the tour. We loved making friends with the other people from all over the world. Visiting the food producers was really neat and we particularly enjoyed our lunch! I would absolutely recommend this tour to a friend.
Valentina G was an incredible guide, she brought the diverse group together and everyone bonded over spending a couple of hours together, leaving as friends. Valentina shared lots of fun facts about how the different italian cuisines originated from the history of each region. She was a bubbly presence and made the tour much more fun and enjoyable!
A fun day eating and drinking! Loved the Parmesan cheese factory, and all the tastings we had. Enjoyed the balsamic vinegar tastings as well. Not big fans of Lambrusco wine but it was a nice winery and we did buy one bottle. A nice lunch at a local restaurant in the area. A little disappointed in the main courses. They were delicious but very similar. Wish they had chosen something a little bit different.
We had a brilliant day with Stefania as our guide and Alex as our driver. They made us feel welcome and kept everyone safe and happy. Stefania was so warm, friendly, funny and knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about Emilia Romagna and its contributions to the food and culture of Italy. The stops and tastings were fantastic and lunch was awesome too. It never seemed rushed or too long, each stop was well timed. Grazie mille and I hope to see you on another tour soon!
Amazing experience! Food was amazing, so flavourful ! We really enjoyed the experience. Stefania was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Would highly recommend for your trip to Bologna.
Valentina was an exceptional guide, and we really enjoyed visiting Morretti’s and Boni and the Parmesan factory. And lunch, the amazing food just kept going! We highly recommend this tour.
This was a wonderful experience! Comfortable travel to our destinations, with no rush. The parmigiana tour was very informative and samples were amazing. Make sure you get in close to the guide to hear! Then the balsamic tour-very interesting to learn about the process and history! The winery tour was fantastic as well. I have a new respect for Lambrusco! Then we had a traditional 4-course lunch with some wonderful food and wine. And then back to Bologna. Valentina, our guide, was fantastic! Very informative and helpful!! Would totally recommend this tour!
A very well organized tour. My husband & I learned a lot about the region, the food, wine, and balsamic vinegar that otherwise wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for this tour. Definitely eye opening. Highly recommended. Our guide, Valentina G was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of local information.
Great experience, thank you Valentina G. Alot of food, eat a light breakfast.
Excellent experience! Stefania was very informative and answered all our questions. Very friendly and professional.
This is a 10/10 experience. Our guide Stephie was so amazing! I wish we had her as a guide for our whole time in Italy. She shared so much history and regional information. The tours are amazing, you get up close and personal with each producer and really small group quality time at each location. Lunch was more than we could ever imagine, so much food and wine - we’re so grateful for this experience!
Great time. We got a lot of excellent food & wine.
Super fun, informative and tasty tour. Learning how parm-reggiano and balsamic vinegar are made was very interesting and, of course, the best part was tasty all the goodies. Our guide Stefi was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable, and we also met other friendly travelers who made the experience very fun. The tour also included a wine tasting of delicious regional wines and a scrumptious lunch. This was definitely a highlight out our stay in Bologna.
This was a fantastic day - come prepared with an empty stomach! Valentina was a wonderful guide, she shared so much knowledge and history during the tour. We thought this was great value for money given the length of the day and amount of food and wine offered.
Valentina G. was amaaaaaazing. One of the best tours I’ve done in Europe. Loved every minute. Learned so much. Great price! Perfect length. Bit of an early start but worth it. Perfect group size. The staff at each venue were amazing and the atmosphere was super chill and relaxed. 10/10 highly recommend!
Wonderful day, great locations, guide and driver
This was a brilliant day and exceeded my expectations. Valentina was a lively and knowledgeable guide and all the experiences were very enjoyable. The provision of food and wine was extremely generous and made the trip good value for money in my opinion. As ever on these experiences, the icing on the cake was the interaction with a group of interesting international travellers!
It was a full day touring Bologna countryside and learning about the history, farms and products. Enjoyed learning about the products and the passion that they had for their farms, products and history. Will never look at Parmigiana Reggiano or balsamic the same way. Loved the restaurant that the tour guide selected to showcase some traditional dishes.
We enjoyed our tour. The hosts at the stops we made were wonderful, friendly and open to questions. We learned lots of interesting facts about all the products and the tastings at each stop were plentiful. We met some great people from all over. Our tour guide Valentina was the best! She made the tour so fun. Would highly recommend this tour.
A wonderful experience and a great value too. I really enjoyed the opportunity to see how parmesan cheese, balsamico and wine were made through the craftsmen themselves. The tour guide was also knowledgeable and passionate about her work. And the lunch that finished the event was over the top. An experience I'll always remember.
Luca was amazing, the tour was fantastic would highly recommend to anyone! Pro tip, come hungry and wear stretchy pants.
Great experience with a variety of activities including cheese, balsamic and wine tasting with a superb lunch. Our guide Luca was the best. Highly recommend.
Best guide ever!!! Loved each stop!
Luca is awesome! The tour was great and the food was solid.
Awesome experience with our guide Luca!
Luca was a knowledgeable and fun guide. There were several things he pointed out to us that werent mentioned in the description. For example, he pointed out a place to get free samples of traditional balsamic after the tour. All the food was very fresh and delicious. Due to the walking it was occasionally hard to hear small tidbits and answers to others' questions, so i would recommend staying close to the guide if you want to hear every little detail, but he usually waited for us all to gather before giving us the information. Tour ended perfectly on time. Definitely a good was to spend 3 hours.
Luca always great! Very friendly and gave lots of local reccomdations. We ate A LOT. I think it was very good value for the money. Would definitely book again.
Luca was a great guide, it was a great day…
Stefania was a terrific tour guide and has a true love for her region of Italy. The tastings were generous and the lunch at the end was fantastic! So full!! Would absolutely rate this food tour very very highly.
Starting my day early with Valentina G was totally worth it to experience an authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano producer, taste exquisite Balsamic that has been aged for decades, taste different perspectives of the Lambrusco Grasparso de Castelvetro grapes at a small family winery, and enjoy a full dining experience that was full of laughter and delicious food. Aside from the great tour, it was nice that we were able to schedule this right before a train ride out of Bologna and have our luggage join us for the tour in the bus. That really simplified our logistics. Overall, I recommend this tour for anyone looking to see another side of culinary curiosities with like minded travelers and a delightful host.
Valentina G was fabulous! We had a remarkable day of history and delicious food!
Luca was an awesome guide and we loved learning about and eating the cheese, balsamic vinegar, Lambrusco and especially the three course lunch.
Our tour was filled with amazing food, drinks, and information. Luca, our guide, was fantastic and brought a great energy to the group. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience what the Emilia-Romagna has to offer!
Luca our tour guide was incredible! And the food and wine were fantastic. Definitely ask for Luca!!!
We had a great walking food tour of Bologna with Luca! The tour covers a lot of the Bologna food favourites and our guide was very knowledgeable about the city, the cuisine, and other regions in Italy (and how the food differs). We unfortunately didn’t have time to taste balsamic vinegar (which I was looking forward to), but the guide pointed out where you could return to if interested. Ours was a smaller group which made the experience even better! Luca was very funny and engaging the whole time.
Stefy was a great guide, she is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Food and wine were amazing!
Had an excellent time. Different food tastings were great at trying things I hadn't had before and learning about how things were done. Hard to pick a favourite as they were all really good. Fresh Parmesean was great and trying balsamic vinegar and ice cream was a revelation. Still trying to find some lambrusco in the uk. Tour guide was really friendly. I went with my partner and there were 4 other people in my group. Everyone was friendly so had a great atmosphere.
It was an amazing experience , enjoyed everything about this tour . Stefie the tour guide was really knowledgable and overall great
Lucca was fantastic! He knew so much about the city and the food. He was fun and a great guide overall.
Excellent experience. Great complement for our trip to Bologna. Luca, our guide, was extremely personable, charming, and informative. His knowledge of Bolognese food, culture, and history was both fascinating and extensive. We would wholeheartedly recommend this outing to anyone visiting Bologna.
Great introduction to cuisine in Bologna
Luca was excellent - fun, informative and a great guide, Thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Highly recommend
The tour was great in tasting all the best local dishes. It was also a great guide to the history of the city. Luca was fantastic as a guide.
The experience was fantastic! LUCA was our tour guide and he did an incredible job! This is such a great value for the money that you spend and all the food that you get to eat. I recommend coming after August or before August starts as many places are closed due to holiday, but even with the closures it was still a fantastic tour and I still think it was a good value.
