Unahotels Bologna Fiera

Intended to only stay one day but flight was cancelled so added another day. Reception staff (Giovanni) very helpful. Restaurant not brilliant but location ok for town centre €15 and airport €25.

BEWARE!!!! This hotel is one of the worst experience I've ever had especially by management... I am on my first trip to Italy and stayed at an UNA Hotel is Venice which was great!! Traveled to Bolonga to stay at this hotel and the front desk and management tried to charge us twice for the city taxes which they were already charging double then what the sign said, after the taxes were paid by credit card and approved, they kept trying to tell us our CC was declined, which it was not it already came through notification on purchase to the hotel. When we tried to explain this to management she was arguing with us. We were trying to remain calm but she was being so ignorant with no patience telling us that if we did not pay it that our card was declined and we were trying to show her the CC receipt she didn't want to hear or see anything. She THREATENED US BY SAYING SHE WOULD LOCK US OUT OF OUR ROOM AND CALL THE POLICIA!!! Who does that to a guest!!! Telling us that we were being rude. When we tried to work this out. After being threatened several times, by A MANAGER THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!! They would not refund us nor transfer us to another Una Hotel!!! So we left who wants to be on vacation in this beautiful country and be scared for your life staying at this Hotel!!!😡

I stayed here for one night during the book fair, and it could not have been more convenient. The perfect location for that purpose. And the staff was really friendly. The room was also much bigger than I expected, and the mattress was comfortable. One small note: you need to ask them to activate your card for gym access, since you have to sign a little waiver. I also thought the restaurant inside the hotel was really good for a quick lunch.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it mainly for its proximity to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, without expecting much — but it turned out to be a really solid choice. Good service, a decent breakfast, a comfortable bed, and a spacious room. The location isn’t ideal for typical tourists, but for a business trip it works perfectly.
