We felt welcome from the very moment we arrived. The service and friendliness of the reception staff were excellent. Our room was located in the hotel's new wing; it was very spacious, and the bathroom was large and inviting. Breakfast offered a bit of everything, and the coffee was excellent. The hotel's location is ideal, as the area is very safe and allows you to explore the city center entirely on foot. We recommend the hotel 100%.
“Welcome to our hotel … unfortunately, in the hotel premises we have only 9 parking spaces, 1st come-1st serve, and no more spaces and we will accommodate your car in a parking space 3 minutes away” - this should have been a nice approach but insted the lady from reception blamed me that I didn’t reserve a parking together with my room as it is on the website - FALSE!!! On requesting to show website she started to lie and to justify her decision with force. I am disappointed that we still have peoples without the minimum respect and understanding of the hospitality and human basic communication rules of respect. And she was the manager in charge … my question now is what she and the hotel management will learn from this experience. The hotel is beautiful and great placed in the gorgeous city of Bologna!!!
Hotel Touring is a fantastic hotel!!! I had a room for a solo traveler and it was perfect in every way- artfully designed, comfortable bed and wonderful amenities. The breakfast was the best that I have had at any hotel- wonderful fruits, breads , cheeses, meat, desserts, etc… The hotel has a lovely rooftop deck. The hotel is within walking distance from all the sights that you want to see in Bologna. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. All in all, my visit was perfect and I cannot recommend the hotel more highly!
We chose the terrace at the hotel for our late afternoon/evening wedding. It was simply beautiful thanks to the extraordinary efforts and attention to detail by the team at Hotel Touring - Georgia, Carlo, Sam, Nicole & Ramone. The food was delicious, the floral arrangements were gorgeous, delightfully arranged place & table settings, just perfect. We could not have asked for a more meaningful setting with stunning views of beautiful Bologna and the sincere help at every step of the way from all the staff. They were consistently professional, responsive and a joy to interact with at every stage. Thank you all so much for all your hard work which made our day such a memorable and meaningful success! We are truly grateful.
We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Touring. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Bologna, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the level of customer service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. The team was professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. Whether it was helping with recommendations, accommodating requests, or simply greeting us with kindness each day, their hospitality stood out in every interaction. It’s rare to find a hotel where service feels this personal and sincere. The rooftop views, charming atmosphere, and excellent location were all fantastic, but the customer experience is what will bring us back. Highly recommend Hotel Touring to anyone visiting Bologna and looking for a hotel that truly understands hospitality.
