Room was fantastic and at a very reasonable price for the time of year. Staff were very friendly and spoke great English. Facilities were to a high, clean, modern standard and open long hours. We particularly enjoyed the high ceiling rooms, large beds and late night pool availability. Gym, work space and laundary were all included in the cost and accessible 24/7. Location was good too, very close to the train station for easy getting about. The only faults I could find were that the restaurant menu could have been a little more expansive and the pool was slightly smaller than expected for the accommodation size. Didn't get too busy though so all good. Would definitely seek out another Social Hub venue in my next city. Highly recommended.

This place is so cool, from the reception to the room, smelling so nice, all products also smell amazingly good! Dimmer lights helped a lot with the baby, king room has a really good bed and space for a couple with baby! Not as important, the hair dryer could be a bit better, but standard for hotels. We will consider them in other countries as well!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a modern and technological atmosphere, with young, friendly, and helpful staff everywhere. Self check-in is available and was very easy to use. There are spacious indoor and outdoor common areas, free drinking water, a fitness area, auditorium, workspaces, and a pool. Our room was very spacious, clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable, with a huge bed and a large bathroom. The open wardrobe was very practical, although the minibar was unfortunately too small even for our water bottles. The pool was definitely my favorite part, especially since we visited Bologna in summer. It is open from 7 AM to 11 PM, and swimming at night was particularly enjoyable. The pool is clean, 1.40 m deep, and towels are provided. However, there are limited sunbeds and it can get crowded, so a larger pool would make the experience even better. The hotel is right behind Bologna Centrale station, while the city center is around a 20–30 minute walk. We often used taxis, which cost around €8–14 each way, but bikes can also be rented right in front of the hotel. Overall, a great choice for a summer stay in Bologna, especially if you want to combine sightseeing with some pool time and relaxation.
I really didn’t want to stay here because my idea of Bologna included an old villa with curtains and wooden furniture and chandeliers…. But my son insisted on a pool. I am so happy that we chose this place. As we were checking in, the man in front was extending his stay another few days. Another man brought his friend over. I could see why after only one night, I wished we had longer there. The hotel is fun and friendly and the breakfast was incredible. My son had the best time at the pool. Free freshly laundered towels provided. Rooms were comfy (and there was a sign in the lift to say the mattresses will be upgraded the day after we left). We slept very well. I love tall ceilings. Free water all day from a fountain in the restaurant. There’s coffee, tea in the room. I especially loved the shower wash and hand wash they provide.
We stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2026. On check-in we were given room 2001 — a fairly spacious room with high ceilings. The room itself isn't the coziest, but the extra space was practical. Our windows faced the road, but noise was never an issue at night. The bed was comfortable, with a good duvet and pillows to match. There was a small wardrobe, and a few more hangers would have been appreciated. The room also had a mini fridge and a small safe — always reassuring to be able to lock away valuables when you're out for the day. Rounding out the room was a small desk, a chair, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a small wall-mounted TV. The air conditioning worked well, though there was an occasional odd smell in the room. The bathroom was modern, with dark tiles and a practical corner shower. Shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner were provided and worked perfectly well for me. Breakfast was quite good, with a solid spread of eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, fruit, and more. The breakfast area itself was a touch on the small side — finding a seat wasn't always easy if you arrived at the wrong time. The hotel is built around a small central courtyard with a bar area and a pool. The pool is a little undersized given how many guests the hotel can hold, but it was still lovely to grab an ice-cold beer at the courtyard bar. Other facilities include a gym, a laundry room, an ironing room, and several co-working spaces. The hotel clearly attracts a lot of students and people staying in Bologna for longer stretches. The location worked well for us. It's a 5-minute walk to the train station, and underpasses let you cross beneath the tracks straight into the city center. Buses weren't the easiest to find nearby, but a tram line is reportedly coming to the area in the future. This is definitely a hotel with its own character — a bit of a student atmosphere. Take it for what it is: a straightforward hotel where the rooms are practical rather than plush. But you get what you need, and the location is far from bad.
