Relais Bellaria Hotel & Congressi

DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute health hazard and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a so-called 4-star hotel. ​When my family arrived late at night, the receptionist refused to help us with our luggage, claiming no one was available. But that was just the beginning. Our first room had dangerous black mold in the bathroom and was infested with bugs and flies. One of the bugs actually bit my sister on the face, leaving a massive red mark—which is incredibly alarming as she suffers from severe allergies and asthma. ​After demanding a room change so our family could stay on the same floor, they moved us to a new room, only for us to find a giant spider waiting for us. When a housekeeping worker came up to kill it, he completely ignored my request to check the rest of the room to ensure it was safe, and then literally slammed the door in my face as he left. ​When I called down to the front desk to complain, the receptionist played dumb, repeatedly saying 'hello? hello?' pretending he couldn't hear me, and hung up on me. When I called back and demanded to speak to a manager, I was told there was no manager on duty at all and I would just have to wait until the morning. ​Rude staff, filthy rooms, bug infestations, and totally absent management. This is not a 4-star hotel. Save your money, protect your health, and book somewhere else."

Wonderful surroundings with numerous areas to sit and relax. Breakfast offerings very varied and tasty. Transportation by bus is minutes away but a little difficult on Sundays as only Bus 36 available for trip to Bologna center. It's much better during week as two bus routes available. Otherwise our stay was excellent and very enjoyable

I have mixed feelings. I didn't find service great they left us hanging in different times, bed and pillows didn't seem comfortable. I found spiderwebs in the gym so I couldn't exercise during my stay. Pool was the best though, it was amazing. Food in the restaurant was very good, although service again not the best, the forgot parts of our orders and took 20+ minutes to bring the right salad. On the day they had an event, service dropped even more

Very clean and quiet space off the main road. Pool area is beautiful. We did not eat dinner there as we were always out but breakfast was good. Staff were polite and spoke English so easy to communicate
