Totally recommend this tour!!! Lorena was energetic, fun, and highly hospitable which made the game much more fun. Also a great time drinking beer, eating great bar food, and learning a game that is just too much fun.

We had a great time with Lorena our guide It was a fun game and we really enjoyed it and it is true the more beers you drink the better you play!! Lorena looked after us and explained everything and made it a great experience Would recommend The drivers were great too they picked us up on time and dropped us back to the hotel it did take an hour to get there but that is the traffic in Bogota!!

So fun!! What a great way to get immersed in the culture and do something fun. Entire experience was great, guide Luis and our driver Peter showed up right on time, Luis did a great job explaining the history of Tejo and also more on Colombian history on the drive over. Game was great. Such a Fun relaxed time. High recommend if you like drinking beer, laughing and being a little competitive.

This was was awsome went with Sergio and had a lot of fun. It took me several throws to get the hang of it but after that I got many points center and explotions. Why is this game not playd worldwide!?

What a unique and fun experience in Bogota. Lorena contacted us ahead of time and was right on time for our pickup. She taught us about the sport of tejo and taught us how to play. Playing tejo and enjoying some local beers with Lorena was a fantastic start to our trip. We truly enjoyed the evening with her; this was definitely one of the most fun experiences we’ve had in all of our travels. Absolutely recommend!

We really enjoyed our night of Tejo! Daniel explained the game, the scoring and was great to spend the evening with. We had PLENTY to drink and learned how to play the game. We all had several explosions and lots of good conversation. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get an introduction to Tejo.

Cristian took my girlfriend and I to a traditional tejo bar in Bogota and it was a great time. We didn’t know anything about tejo before hand but Cristian taught us how to play and the background of the game. He also taught us some history about the area. The bar we went to was very authentic and the locals were extremely welcoming and friendly. Cristian speaks great English and was more than happy to translate for us when we spoke to some of the locals there. This was a very unique experience and it was the highlite of our trip!

This was a blast, went with 6 friends, crate of beer, explosives, all adds up to a fun time. Tour guide was great, driving pick up and drop of were smooth. Enough time playing and drinking. Would do again.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. We had so much fun! This is a great way to spend an evening. Plan to drink a lot of beer! Exploding targets, beer, much laughter. We appreciated the pickup from our hotel, and the return at the end of the evening. Luis was our guide, Cesar our driver. We also hired Luis for the Graffiti Tour the next day, in La Canderia. He is very knowledgeable, speaks English (a must for us), and a kind soul. Highly recommend trying to get Luis for any of the Gran Colombia Tours.

It was pretty cool. Tejo is such a unique experience and we loved it. I wouldn’t call it a beer tour though lol they just crack open a beer or two for ya. Seemed like our guide kinda wanted to get on with his night and get rid of us, but we enjoyed our time with him!

We loved getting beers and playing Tejo with Daniel and seeing a new part of Bogota. We would happily do this again!

We had a great time with Luis and Miguelito. Luis made it competitive and fun while interacting with locals at the Tejo Club. Miguelito was our driver and got us to our stops safely. Ask for Luis if you want some competition. We now want to build a Tejo Field in our backyard.

While we have to postpone our tour due to the coronavirus, the management team of Gran Colombia Tours have been amazing. They gave who a 100% refund and were so helpful. Once the world gets back to normal and we can reschedule our trip to Bogota, we will definitely use them for anything and everything while on our vacation!

This was the most fun I've ever had on a tour!!! I didnt really know what to expect and I am so glad we signed up for it. It really gives you the taste of a true columbian!! Our tour guide Gerald was incredible! His english, knowledge of the sport of tejo and his personality was top notch! 8 complete strangers plus gerald shared a fun and special night. You must sign up for this tour! It's a blast and a great experience that you will be talking about for a long time.

This was by far the most fun we had in Bogota, we went on a busy Friday night, Luis our guide was fantastic and explained all the rules perfectly with great english and made sure we had lots of things to explode!! Even though it was the busiest night (lots of locals) Luis reserved us one of the very limited Tejo lanes and was very attentive making sure we ALWAYS had beer. It was a great night and we had lots of fun.

We had such a great time with Daniel on this tour. Excellent value for money, you get beers, food and everything you need for Tejo included in the price. If you visit Colombia you have to try this game! We were the only 2 on the tour so Daniel brought his friends and we had a lot of fun with them. We also got really good at, maybe even better than the Colombians... Thanks guys for a great birthday.

Grand Columbia tours is amazing! All of their tour guides are so good (I did 3 tours) and you can really feel the passion for their jobs. Because it is low season I ended up being the only person on the Tejo tour, (no complaints ita a private tour!) with Luis Vasquez, who was just incredible. So helpful and kind and easy to talk to. We had great fun together and immediately felt like good friends. He was also really kind to walk me back to my accommodation to make sure I got there safely. I cannot say enough good things! I had an unavoidable last minute cancellation with my original tour (Salt Cathedral) but Juan Franco went out of his way to make sure I had a great experience in Bogota. It was very much appreciated and I can genuinely say I am leaving Bogota with great memories thanks to this company!

We played tejo with our guide Luis, it was an amazing experience and we loved the game. Luis explained the game well and we started playing from the halfway line before advancing to throwing it the full distance. We booked the tour as we were hoping to play with others but it was just us and Luis. Despite it just being 3 of us, it was great and we had 3 full games in the time. We would particularly recommend Luis as he was light hearted, funny and spoke great English

It was amazing, was a game that I never had played, the guide tour was very good at playing, the beer was very refreshing! We enjoyed too much. The guide gave us good instructions and the game is too difficult but is a different sport that everyone should try.

We spent a great night playing Tejo with our brilliant guide Jorge! It is a must if in Bogota, a chance to mix with the locals while throwing a ball at explodable targets, plus beer!! You could not want anymore!!

What I can tell you at the beginning of the tour playing yew was the best way to break the ice. Between laughter, competition and an explosion, the experience felt very authentic and spontaneous, I could not ask for better. After touring La Candelaria, full of history, colonial architecture and murals give an incredible contrast to the center of Bogotá. Rather than a sightseeing tour, it was a different way of understanding the city and its essence. Without leaving aside the incredible and professional way of developing the activities of all its staff, it was a perfect mix that leaves me more eager to return another time to Bogotá. A complete, different and fully recommended plan. Thank you very much for the experience and thank you very much to all those who were involved throughout the tour.

Experience to get started with the original Bogota! We had an amazing time Thanks to Lorena who made us the pre birthday super fun, dynamic, Colombian beer, music, the place, the people who opened the doors and even the driver all super friendly even wanted more time.

It was a nice experience in a local Tagus hall. The game and food including pick up at the property was perfect.

The place is a local place with an excellent Mood, we played yew, we got beers and mince. We had the opportunity to meet more people and make friends, the guide had the best attitude and was aware of all the details to make an unforgettable night.
