Manuel was recommended to me when I was searching to do an overnight outside of Bogota. From the very first moment of our communications, Manuel has been very responsive, smart, funny, patient and invaluable. He listened to my wishes and put together two different possible itineraries to choose from. After I made my choice, scheduled the date, and got my hotel, that was about the last thing I needed to do. He took care of everything else. Manuel is a great conversationalist (he speaks very good English) and the very long drives were enjoyable. He is filled with Colombian information. I felt as if i learned so much from him. He is also curious, very fun, and is game for anything. I felt very safe the whole way. Our driver was amazing…and you need to be an amazing driver on those Colombian roads. I feel as if Manuel took me to the best spots along the way- from restaurants to vistas to the Volcanoes and other sites. I would definitely use Manual on my next trip to Bogota. I felt very cared for and that I made a new friend.

Could not have asked for anything more! My friend and I had a 36hr layover in bogota and wanted to really see as much as we could. Manuel asked lots of questions and then gave us a custom tour according to what we wanted. He took us to two great restaurants, showed us some real estate (my business) got us into an exclusive antique bookseller ( my friends request), we toured hip neighborhoods, galleries, met locals, and he regaled us with fascinating stories of this adventures in bogota. He is knowledgeable of the history, of the culture, knows where to go, can procure just about anything you can dream of. And his English is excellent. We hired a driver and ended up with a friend in Bogota. It felt like we had a local on our side. Because we did! Cannot recommend more highly.
