I used the bogota driver service on my trip to bogota. It was cheaper than a tour and got me personal service. I had really wanted to go hiking in this specific place. The public transit seemed unreliable and overwhelming for me. After 2 months of putting it off, nearing the end of my stay, I knew it was now or never. I requested a ride two days before. Was quoted a very reasonable price. Luis showed up on time, had great communication, spoke perfect English, and helped me pay for my entrance and get instructions on the trail. I had a fabulous time, and he was right there waiting when I was done. No trying to figure out where to catch the bus or taking 2 hours to get back after a long hike. It was fantastic. If you need a driver for affairs of any sort in Bogota - Luis and his brother Alejandro are your men. I travelled for business, and I had four days of long commutes from my hotel in the center of Bogota to the worksite in the north. Luis was early for every commute, and always kept me updated on his status. When I needed adjustments to the schedule, he did not fail to accommodate me. Traffic in Bogota is challenging, but Luis was never fazed in the slightest. During the commutes, he could constantly maintain fascinating conversation, about local/regional history, music, movies - never a dull moment. Though this was a business trip, Luis indulged my interest in coffee and took me to a superb coffee shop in a mall one evening, for which I am grateful. Their professionalism is, in a word, peerless. I cannot overstate my recommendation for their services.

I even bought a souvenir related to one of the stories he told us at the gold museum. He's more than just smart: he's a great person. Getting around Bogota in a wheelchair wasn't super easy. Thanks to Luis, though, I went 2000 meters up to the top of Monserrate and 200 meters down to the bottom of the Catedral de Sal. He worked harder than I ever could've asked him to so that we would have the adventures we dreamed of. I know we're not the only ones to benefit from his kindness - be sure to meet the folks at markets and cafes he's cultivated relationships with. You'll eat fresh if you do! Luis Felipe took his time to explain and gave lots of details about the Guatavita Lake and the Salt Cathedral. He was always very flexible and friendly. The car was also very comfortable and clean.

I thoroughly enjoyed the private ride with Luis. He drove me about 45 minutes from my airport hotel across town. He communicated with me beforehand effectively on WhatsApp, and he went in person when he picked me up as well as when he dropped me off. He was very personable and accommodating. The best thing about the experience was Luis’s extremely insightful conversation through the 45-minute ride. I am American, and Luis spoke to me in fluent English about a variety of things including his observations about Colombian culture. I can only imagine great things through his private tours as he provides so much knowledge about everything. It was a great investment over a simple taxi ride as Luis provided much more than just transportation.
