It has been a very fructuous visit, the construction of the cathédrale is so grandiose as it left us without words. The guide with whom we spend at least 3 hours was Great, his knowledge of the Columbia history is so GOOD. We recommend the tour with Freddy, the guide.

It's a long drive from Bogotá and of course the return too. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're traveling by it. However my driver was great - Germán H. . He was prompt, a good driver, offered various pieces of information along the trip, very professional and friendly.

I never thought it was going to be like that. Amazing experience and amazing place. 100% recommend. Its a must.

Impressive. Visited the town before the cathedral, very quaint!! Guide was excellent. Our driver was on time and very knowledgeable, and took us to a great restaurant.

It was a nice experience. We took our kids. It was something more for a grown up experience but the older kids could handle it. It was a bit too long for out toddler but if we go back to Bogota as a couple we would do it again.

It was very unique and an easy day trip from the center of Bogota. Our tour guide, German, was wonderful.

I did this tour on October 19, 2023. It was a good trip and I would highly recommend it. This tour felt like much better due to the tour guide “Sergio Paulo”, who explained each and everything in such a detail. He is Spanish and English speaking guide, very knowledgeable, always explain each and everything in detail, very passionate about his work, super helpful. He also went and beyond his job to help me find and book another excursion of “La Chorrera”. He is exceptionally good guy with positive attitude towards his work. Especially if you do not know Spanish and need English speaking guide, he is the best one. All the very best to him.

A must-see! I enjoyed every minute! If you have trouble walking, you may want to be prepared for the uneven grounds, but you won't regret it.

I loved the visit. Despite the hellish traffic in Bogotá, the salt mine is beautiful! Worth every second. The old town of Zipaquirá is beautiful! I think it was our best trip to Bogotá.

It is a guided tour, where they explain very well the process of extracting salt in underground mine and not from the sea, as I knew. The guide explains perfectly the operational process, dates, etc. Someone thought to transform the mine into a Catholic cathedral and make a paragon of the crossroads, placing crosses on different levels and if the mine’s undercut is deep, the guide notes that it is suffering from Christ, etc. This part is not achieved and is irrelevant, for my taste, and so on.

初めてガイド音声ツアーに参加しました。各言語の音声をgoogle翻訳によって機械音声で通訳するシステムで、今後広がってくるかもしれません。 ただし英語ースペイン語間は正確のようでしたが、日本語との翻訳は精度が低いので、英語等をある程度理解していないと理解しにくい部分もあります。（ですから、こちらのサイトには対応言語として日本語は書いていません。） ガイドさんはとても丁寧な対応をしてくださり、快適で効率的なツアーとなりました。タクシーではなく、ガイドであるため様々な解説があるのも良い点です。 また、フライトの都合で時間が限られた中、ジバキラ散策など、最大限に観光できる工夫をしてくれました。 内部には同行しませんが、こちらは英語の音声ガイドを借りて聞きながら自分で歩きますが、キリスト教に強い興味がなければ、必要ないかもしれません。（十字架がたくさんあり、それぞれの意味を説明してくれます。） 塩の教会は鉱山内に作られており、ゆっくり歩くと１時間半以上かかりますが、新鮮な体験ができてよいと思います。 列車でも行くことができますが、週末のみの運転、ジバキラ中心部へは行かないため、セットツアーを利用するか、路線バス等に乗り換えが必要なようです。

Magnificent place of easy access, excursion for the whole family, is a gentle walk inside a salt mine. It is considered the first wonder of Colombia. The cathedral and many of the sculptures that are there are completely in salt, it is a great work of engineering, a quick walk through the small main square of Zipaquirá great place to take photos and have lunch typical grill food. The truth is that it is very nice the place, the history and everything it represents, however, you have to consider that if you travel with young children by car or people with wheelchairs, things become a little more complicated because the traffic is uncomfortable because the floor is irregular. We were charged a small percentage for a 1-year-old baby and I expected him to at least have a baby seat the transport car, which he did not. That really disappointed me!
