I think this tour is overpriced for what you get. It felt a bit rushed walking through city at end. Didn’t have a lot of time to stop for lunch.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was the only person on this tour (I have some health issues and I was worried that I might slow down others on the tour)! Anyway, Natalia Cardenas was a wonderful tour guide - she was very knowledgeable, professional and personable! I really enjoyed the tour and it was well worth the price I paid for it. Highly recommended!!!
Diego was excellent! He was super knowledgeable, so friendly and an absolute joy to spend my first day in Bogotá with!
Amazing tour! Very knowledgeable guide, lots of information about history, great fruit and chics tasting. Very varied tour, it is awesome.
Diego was a fantastic guide, and I really enjoyed my few hours with him. His English is fluent and he is knowledgeable about all matters Colombian: art; history; politics; architecture; wildlife etc. I cannot recommend Diego enough, and on my next trip to Bogotá will definitely look him up for another tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the tour. The walks and views were great. Rafael was very knowledgeable and personable. A great communicator! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bogotá.
Tours are usually perfect because of the guide/host. Which is why this was a perfect day from the beginning to the end. Rafi is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. We learned so much about Bogota in the time we spent with him. Mount Monserrate was beautiful and the ride up and down was also a true experience. (Beware of the Sunday crowd, its insane.) The price was definitely worth the tour, you get more value than you think with this team. My husband is not a big museum fan but I am, so I loved getting to see the Museo del Oro and walk around La Candelaria and take photos of some of the street art. The best part for me was on the day we toured we were able to meet two of the other tour guides with their groups and they were all amazing! We stopped at a cafe on the Mount and had Canelazo. It was a perfect day!
Insightful, Luis was knowledgeable and engaging. Tour and sites were worth the time and dollars. Enjoyed the day very much
This was an excellent tour, Dani the guide was so knowledgeable about the city. He was able to answer my questions about the cityand the architecture of the buildings. Thank you Dani for sharing Bigots with me. Stephen
This tour was wonderful! The host Daniel was friendly, knowledgeable and had impeccable English. Highly recommend!
Rafael is easy going, conversational, engaging, and very knowledgeable! He was a friendly guide that helped me gain a terrific amount of knowledge and know-how about the area we traversed. I highly recommend this tour!
Again l did not know this was a private tour. But because of that, l could spend the time as l wanted. Enjoyed seeing the city from above and walking through LaCandelaria. Alejandro was a flexible guide and we opted not to go to the museum of gold but saw another one instead.
Rafael was the best guide we ever had. Great day. He placed the day perfectly, stopping in typical Colomian places whenever we need to rest. Got a lot more than wah we paid for.
Our guide Alejandro met us on time at our hotel. He was very friendly and eager to show us this beautiful colonial part of the city. His English is outstanding. We kept our itinerary flexible due to weather and the unexpected early closure of the Gold Museum. Alejandro gave us a couple of suggestions on additional sights to see as well as his favorite restaurants near our hotel. Following our tour he took us to the door of our hotel.
Our guide Rafael was excellent explaining all the different sites and providing context to the experience. We enjoyed this tour and would recommend to see the main highlights of Bogotá in one day.
Inteligent, knowledgeable, dinamic, friendly... exceeded my expectations. Since there were no many people registered for the tour, I received a private one! Happy me.
This tour was okay. This tour was extremely overpriced. The tour guide had knowledge and was patient. However, after utilizing another tour company the day before I was extremely disappointed with the cost.
My daughter and I went on the tour with Alejandro as our guide. He was fantastic, both knowledgeable and personable. He knew the shortcuts and anecdotes that make any tour special. It was a long day with a good amount of walking but well worth it if you really want a sense of Bogota and its history.
We have had the pleasure of booking a tour in Bogota with Santiago from Viator. it was a perfect day with a lot of interesting thing to see and we had a lot of information about everything we saw during our day tour. We highly recommend Viator and Santiago if you want to see Bogota. Best regards, Agnes, Benthe, Steffen and Mette from Denmark
My friend and I had a wonderful tour with Bogota Pub Crawl. We were fortunate to have Santiago as a wonderful guide. His English is excellent and he was very engaged and informative. La Candelaria is a very interesting district and the Gold Museum is worth seeing. There are great views from Monserrate and the site is beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Rafael was just fantastic. He made our trip to Bogota a trip of a lifetime. We were picked up at our hotel. Rafael was informative, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend this tour to all first time visitors of Bogota. It was a great overview of the city and it's wonderful people.
We booked this tour, 4 people, expecting to see a bit of Bogota. Our expectations were exceeded by far. Santiago, our guide, was not only very knowledgeable, born and bred in Bogota, he told us so many fun facts, was very friendly, easy going and had super English. We started on Monserat, stunning fews over the city on a clear day, lovely decoration for Christmas, a picturesque church and amazing countryside all around. We then went into the city's old quaters admiring the architecture and vibrant street life, stopping at many street food stalls, sampling delicious Colombian food. We past the government and President building; watched a marching band and soldiers parade. Then we took a tour of the cultural center, beautiful courtyards and art displays. Finally we visited the very interesting gold museum. The tour was jam packed without being overbearing. Very informative and interesting in every way . Santiago was one of the best guides we ever had.Well worth doing this tour. Loved it.
Our guide was Santiago and he was the perfect guide for us! He told us every interesting detail about Bogota, it's history and other topics. Since the private tour consisted only of 3 persons (Santiago, my boyfriend and me) it generally had a very relaxed vibe to it, like visiting a friend who simply showed us around the city. The open and kind personality of Santiago supported that feeling in every aspect. No matter if you wanted to ask critical questions about politics or take some extra time for photos, he was completly cool with it. In a nutshell: We totally recommend this tour and if you can, do it with Santiago :) Muchas gracias! Saludos de Laura y Alex
Excellent tour to get a great view and feel for the city. Walked about 5.5 miles so it was nice to be active as well. Rafael was a very good guide who knows lots about the city. He also spoke excellent English and even let me practice my Spanish.
What an amazing day we had with Lina. We met her and the driver at a hotel. We headed for Monserrate, what breathtaking (literally...elevation 10,400”) View of Bogota and a beautiful church. We shopped around, ate empanadas, and took pictures. Next we headed for La Candelaria, we stopped to grab a cappuccino and try an indigenous drink called chicha, in a local coffee shop. We also stopped at the Botero museum...and wow it was amazing. Next we headed for Museo del Oro, but on the way we stopped to eat Bogota style tamales and drink a beer. Plus more shopping and more coffee because when in Colombia....drink lots of coffee. Overall it was a great tour. Next time we are in Bogota we will book the pub crawl.
We really enjoyed this tour during our short time in Bogota. Lina picked us up at our hotel and headed to Mount Monserrate where you have an amazing view of the city. Afterwards we visited la Calendaria, the historic district of the city, as well as Gold Museum and Botero Museum. We also tried local food like empanadas and chichas. She had ample knowledge of the places and the city's history. Lina also had excellent recommendations for activities beyond the tour. We liked it so much that we booked a second tour with the company for the very next day! Even before we got to the city, she was very accesible and answer all our questions. We definitely recommend this company!

This is a great tour for anyone wanting to visit some of the must see sights in Bogota. The guide was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. The guide goes out of jer way to make sure you have a true Colombian experience. This tour is a must!

Lina provided us with an excellent tour during our short stay in Bogota. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to get along with. She picked us up from our hotel and we took a car to Montserrate. We took the cable car to the top of the mountain to appreciate the views, then headed down into La Candelaria to explore the historic district. We went to the Museo de Oro and Museo Botero, a local craft market, and to try empanadas and chicha. Lina gave us excellent restaurant/nightlife recommendations as well. Great way to get to know Bogota!
My husband and I loved this Bogota city tour!! We were able to visit Mount Monserrate, the city center (la Candelaria), Museo Botero and Museo del Oro. We also enjoyed all the knowledge and helpfulness of our tour guide Lina. She is a true local, and provided for us the true local experience, which we greatly appreciate! She goes above and beyond to offer tourists an excellent time in her city, and we are so glad to now call her a friend. We highly recommend this Tour Company for its excellent customer service and service provided! You will not be disappointed!

GREAT way to spend my first day in Bogota. The views from Monserrate were gorgeous, and our long walk around Bogota was lovely - weather cooperated beautifully. Wear comfy shoes, the walking part wore me out! Got little snacks along the way instead of one big meal, which I really liked. Cheesy hot chocolate, empanadas, etc. Zero complaints, thanks for a great tour!

Tour guide Lina was amazing! She was very informative and kind! Monserrate is a must see, highly recommended!

What a fantastic- must do tour of Bogota. Lena sp? was amazing and went out of her way to customize the tour per our interests while making sure we stayed on track for the scheduled visits. She was just a wealth of local info- and a lot of fun to be with!. Ask her to take you to the restaurant for hot chocolate with cheese!!!!!!

This tour was beyond expectation. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. One can always walk around a city and see the sites but when you are with a guide on a personal tour you really learn more about the culture, history and country. I highly recommend this tour!

We spend a great tour and a great guide with Lina. Thanks for made us feel great!

I was the only one on this tour. The guide was great! It was a personalized tour. She explained everything so well, and was really nice. I have learn so much about Bogota. I really recommend this tour.

Monserrate was nice, fantastic views of the city, lots of beautiful flowers up top. La Candelaria was a bit underwhelming, this historic area has been allowed to fall into terrible condition, but fortunately it looks like it's being restored now. I did like when we stopped for a minute in a small local bar popular among students to try some chicha, which was tasty. The neighborhood itself lacks the requisite richness in history and detail to be interesting on its own. I'd recommend trying to find specific historical figures and stories to tell while walking through to make it more interesting similar to the tale of Bolivar being led out of his window by his mistress to avoid assassination--more of those. The Gold Museum was underwhelming, very repetitive with the same displays essentially being put up in a dozen or so rooms under the names of different ingenious tribes. Even most of the collection in the vault was kind of meh. The first section explaining how gold was mined and worked by these cultures was cool though. I did enjoy being taken to lunch at a popular local spot for some tasty ajiaco, that was nice.

I loved the tour! I learned a lot with my super knowledgeable tour guide who was very friendly. She shared her umbrella until I bought one and then it stopped raining, of course. Since it was a private tour, she let me stop everywhere I wanted to shop, look around, and take photos. I was able to pick the place where I wanted to have lunch.

The city of Bogota is in the savannah of the same name, above the Andes. It is a city of height (the most cultured of the Andean cities) so it can cause aiming and/or "soroche". Take it easy the first few days. The neighborhood of La candelaria is the historical complex of the city, at the foot of the hill Monserrate, which offers a privileged view of the city and a very beautiful black virgin (as befits that of Montserrat). But it is not appropriate to do it on the first day, for the height. The gold museum is one of the most exquisite museums of pre-Columbian art in the world. He is extraordinarily willing and the delicacies he shows take the breath away. Bogota is a vibrant and very modern city, but it is advisable to devote a whole day (and even two) to its historic center, to better understand where we come from and where we are going.
They are three very interesting places and worth visiting. The Gold Museum is dazzling: well-ordered and with a magnificent reproduction shop. La Candelaria is a neighborhood brimming with life where you can enjoy walking among its colored houses, many of them with beautiful graffiti. Monserrate offers with its height of more than 300 m added to the 2600 of Bogotá magnificent views. Attention to height: it is many meters and precautions must be taken for soroche. I say this from my own experience
