My son and I enjoyed this tour of graffiti around the Candelaria area of Bogota. The guide was friendly and good in explaining the meaning behind the artwork and some of the techniques. The only criticism was that the tour had to be conducted both in English and in Spanish and this meant that there were quite long pauses at each stop.

Sarah knew the area well and explained the specific murals in detail. We enjoyed the tour very much.
Fantastic look at Bogota from a novel perspective. History, art, living culture. Highly recommended.
Excellent knowledge and flexible. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Interesting neighbourhood Guide Leonora was really helpful. .
Bernardo was very knowledgeable and gracious. We saw so much beautiful art and learned the history of graffiti in the Candelaria. Was well worth the money and I recommend you take this tour. So much to see and learn. Also, coordination and meet up was easy and stress free. Fantastic tour!
A good way to learn more about a city especially if you're on limited time is to do a tour. I could have picked any other, but I chose one that's not quite the usual. Gerardo was the perfect guide to tell you stories of how he (an immigrant himself) sees Bogota through the eyes of artists. It was a great way to see Bogota & scheme of ways to come back again one day!
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. He came prepared with interesting content and took his time in answering all of our questions. Fantastic content and delivery.
The guide was very knowledgeable and answered so many questions about the area, its history, and the artist scene while sharing insights about culture and social movements. The guide was very adept at combining the Murals and History tours since there were only a few of us total. A very rich experience with our guide going the extra mile to make the visit worthwhile for us and to address questions. Very well organized so that we learned about fruits with a taste demonstration, stopped at the artist collective at the end. Overall, very worth doing to get a deep glimpse, albeit brief, of the historic district.
Bogotá is filled with incredible street art, and as a visitor, it can be hard to fully understand what you’re seeing. Our guide, Juana, was amazing - her deep knowledge of the art across different parts of the city really brought everything to life. On top of that, her personality made the entire experience so enjoyable. This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on, and I would recommend it without hesitation!
An enjoyable wander through some of Bogota's back streets and walkways admiring some great works of street art. Interesting to learn about the various styles etc. although our guide's English did make some bits very hard to understand. We had a mixed language group and the guide seemed much happier speaking Spanish. Not a big issue and would still recommend this tour.
Our guide Sarah made this tour even better. She was well-versed than everything we were looking at, the history of art, and the streets, just a very enjoyable few hours.
Great guide with an overall great experience. One downside is that the tour is in Spanish and English, which while accessible, makes the tour take twice as long.
Very short tour,1.5 hours ,it was on January 1st and it didnt include the market and museum that we were not told will be closed More than that the price was the same as any other day and more than that the guide expected for tips.
You see lots of great street art and also hear about the historical, social, political, and legal context. Jose has great knowledge of local street artists.
First, there was no information provided to help us locate the tour in a very busy public square. The guide indicated that we should have been told to look for yellow umbrellas but that info was not passed along. Second, while the guide was quite knowledgeable about the art and some artists, it was quickly apparent that she had an agenda regarding which pieces were worth visiting. Several times, guests had to ask her to stop so the could take photos but you could see her obvious impatience. She also paid special attention to recent pieces that advocated for Palestine, with a couple of guests clearly uncomfortable with the discussion. The art was beautiful. Enjoyed seeing ii
A wonderful tour of the constantly changing art gallery that is Bogotá's urban art and graffiti contributions to global culture.
It's a nice little history about the community. And the surrounding area I would like to explore more of it.
Excellent knowledge from the guide, some brilliant artwork on show. Really give a good feel for the culture and local neighbourhood
Ivonne was our very knowledgeable and very charming guide. She told us about the very unique history of graffiti art in Colombia and also answered our many questions about the sociopolitical situation in Colombia. The art is amazing.
José was a great tour guide! He gave us so much interesting information and so much intel of the details. You could really feel his passion. besides that he is a super nice person.
A fun walk around a neighborhood I would have otherwise not visited! It was great to learn about the graffiti scene in Bogotá
The guide of the graffiti tour in Bogota did not show up! We met his colleague 10 minutes ahead of time - she was the guide of another tour - and told her we were waiting for the graffiti tour. Only 15 minutes after, did she inform us there was no guide and offered us to join her tour. We were very disappointed and left.
Very interesting tour with a guide who told us about the art and broader cultural history of bogota. Chris was great! Tour was 2h which was perfect
We did the street art tour with Maria and it was fabulous! We learned so much about the link between culture, history and art and Maria was so open to our questions and asked if we had any feedback. Highly recommend this tour with Maria.
We loved spending time with Marcos for the graffiti tour. He was full of energy and knowledge. He also made amazing connections to the indigenous population of Bogota and the politics which influenced the murals. We greatly enjoyed our time with him and highly recommend this tour.
Excellent tour guide! He’s so knowledgeable and shares everything he knows in such an enthusiastic way. Definitely recommend
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Bogota. The explanation of the history and cultural of the city was interesting to learn through the murals and street art in the historic district. Great time!
A fun and interesting tour! Juana was clearly passionate about street art, so we both learned some of the context of Bogota street art and also got a window into its meaning and importance for people.
Luis our guide was excellent. He explained the history of the Graffiti Art and explained all the paintings and artists.
Juana was an excellent guide on this walking tour. She was passionate and explained in detail about the graffiti art we looked at. This ranged from spiritual to political to cultural to environmental and biodiversity. The tour was at a good pace and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this tour.
Very detailed introduction and safe travel. Know much better about the graffiti in Bogota. The tourguide lady introduced very detailed about the artists and the background Colombia culture about the graffiti.
Christopher have the best knowledge , friendly and helpful. I recommend him snd thjs tour to anyone who want to visit Bogota
A really amazing tour of some of the best and most consequential street art in La Candelaria. Our guide Juana was absolutely brilliant and really helped us understand the historical and political context of the art; as well as providing an insight into the street are scene in Bogotá. Would highly recommend as a starting point for understanding a bit more about Bogotá and Colombia more broadly.
Luis was an excellent guide and showed us some of the most interesting street art in La Candelaria. The explanation of styles and unique topics really made this experience worth the walk.
It’s a wonderful tour! Our guide Juana is excellent. She explained the graffiti’s elements and their cultural background, so that we understand more about Colombia as a nation. The only thing you need to know is that the tour is 2 hours , not 2.5 hrs as it is in the description. But with the price, I’m ok with it. You can save $3 if you just show up and pay her in person.
The tour guide, Sara I believe, was superb. She was not only very knowledgeable about the graffiti, the street art, the vandalism, the political meanings and the culture. The art was absolutely amazing!
Enjoyed walking around La Candelaria taking the time to observe the graffitti and learning about the artists.
Mixture of cultural history and artistic expression played out in a unique corner of Bogota. Lots of walking!
Juana was an amazing tour guide! We had a super fun time exploring the street art and learnt a lot about the art history and wider cultural meanings - thank you Juana!!
This is an easy going tour which takes in some of the street art highlights of Candelaria. It's a nice way to get know the area and because it's only 2 hours it's not a huge committment. Our guide Natalie was really friendly and informative and also gave lots of good tips about not only the area but also Bogota as a whole. Cafe nuestra was a really nice place to end selling local art.
I really enjoyed this tour. Sara was a knowledgeable guide and helped us understand the stories behind the art. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to understand the modern history of graffiti in Bogota.
My mom and I had a wonderful time. Very informative. We learned a lot about different styles of graffiti. .
Great funny knowledgeable guide! The tour was informative and we had enough time to socialize with other members. Prompt pickup and clean safe bus.
This was a fantastic tour! I learnt a lot about the graffiti art form. Luis provided great background, explained the different styles of graffiti, introduced us to various artists and their works, and provided a rich commentary on the graffiti movement in Bogota and its social impact. Highly recommend this tour and with Luis. Thank you so much Luis

Juanita was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was able to show us some amazing art while providing context, history, and artist information. We loved the artist collective that she brought us to at the end as well. Highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about the history of the city and country, and see some awesome murals and graffiti!
Such an interesting way to learn more about Bogotá and Colombia. Our guide Luis spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. The walking pace was very good, with enough stops to take photos and we learned a lot more than we expected. Definitely would recommend doing this tour if you have a few days to spend in Bogotá.
Bernardo was the best guide ever! He is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge 🙌🏻. He showed us many nice places and even gave us some extra tips to visit after the tour.
I had to leave early, so I don’t know how the rest of the tour went, I only attended about half of it. Billed as an art tour, we spent more time talking about history and had a wonderful time, identifying and tasting fruits. However, it was still a very enjoyable tour and I would recommend it.
