An absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end! My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá and our tour of the town. We want to highlight the excellent service provided by Steven, our driver, who was very professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, made sure we had a safe and pleasant journey. We also want to thank Jhovanny, our tour guide, for his extensive knowledge, charisma, and patience. He made the tour interesting, enjoyable, and truly enriching. And, of course, lunch was delicious! We had a wonderful day visiting the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá with Nicholas! The private transportation and hotel drop-off made everything easy and comfortable. We also had a delicious lunch with ajiaco and steak. The tour was a great option for my mum, who has knee problems, as we could take things at a comfortable pace. Highly recommend Nicholas as a guide!

We has a wonderful trip to the salt cathedral. It is spectacular cathedral underground in the salt mines. It is a big advantage to have a guide to explain the religious symbolism, history and geography. Our Guide David was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic with excellent English. Highly recommended

The Salt Cathedral was impressive, the tour very well explained, David very knowledgeable and pleasing. The town of Zipaquira very traditional, pretty, clean, lots of history.

Great day! My daughter and I had a great experience. Second time to salt dome. I liked the private tour much better than the audio tour I had last time. Jovanny was very thorough.

Visiting the Laguna del casique de Guatavito was a very pleasant experience, the hike is full of nature and it has some phenomenal views, we later had ajiaco and some meat cooked on lumber and our final destination was the Salt cathedral in Zupaquira. This was an amazing experience, thanks to our guide Cristhiam Medina

Guide David was great and knowledgeable the location was wonderful.

We had a great time in Zipaquira - Jhon our guide was the best - very friendly and knowledgable and his English is really good too. Once we booked the experience we got a lot of messages from Nomadas Colombia Travel if we want this or that, add something book something new etc. That was a little much. Otherwise very professional and helpful.

We took the private tour with Jhovanny who was our guide and he was excellent! Answered all our questions and gave us thorough explanations for everything. The salt cathedral is incredible and you won’t regret your day. Javier was our driver who picked us up right from our hotel and we had a comfortable ride. Highly recommend you taking the fully guided tour!

This was amazing. The tour guide contacted us to coordinate our pickup at the hotel the day before. We were able to add an extra site visit, Guatavita Lagoon, which made the experience even better. Alexander, driver, and Jhovany, guide, made our trip safe and informative. They were attentative to our needs and provide great food recommendations.

Zipaquira haven’t stolen my heart, looks like a shopping center under the ground with few chapels added, nothing spectacular. Nicolas our guide, actually driver was a different story because he really made an effort and wanted to shows us everything and tell us as much as possible, I would rate him 10/10

We booked what’s basically a driver and car to take us to Zipaquira because finding a ride back to Bogota may have been difficult. Our driver didn’t speak English and we speak no Spanish. Was it worth it? Probably. Met expectations. Nothing unusual nor special which is why I give it four stars. The Salt Cathedral itself is very unique and worth the long ride there, at least to us.

Javier was a wonderful driver and guide. He made me feel comfortable and safe with my limited speaking of Espana.

Very good experience from start to finish! The agency had excellent communication and contacted us ahead of time with all the details. They also sent us a link to purchase the tickets, which were not included in the tour price. The pickup was right on time. Our guide, David, and our driver, Steven, were both very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Thanks to their organization, we arrived at Zipaquirá earlier than most visitors, which allowed us to enjoy the Salt Cathedral with fewer crowds. We truly enjoyed David’s explanations and the way he shared the history and details of the cathedral. He patiently answered all our questions, waited for us while we took pictures, and even helped take some great photos of us in the best spots. The Salt Cathedral itself was amazing, and the timing of our visit made the experience even better since it was not too crowded. After the cathedral, we walked to a restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed trying some of the meat before sitting down which was very tasty. The ajíaco soup before the main meal was excellent, and we also loved the lemonade. Unfortunately, the meat served on our plates was not as good as we had hoped. However, overall, it was still a very enjoyable meal. Wish we could have walked and seen the town a bit more. We had a wonderful day and highly recommend this private experience. Special thanks and kudos to David!

Great day trip to salt cathedral. Our driver Brandon was great though he only spoke Spanish. So we both used translator app to get message across. He was very nice and took us around the town, stores and have flexibility on our spending time where we needed. Highly recommend Brandon. We are not religious but good to know more about the history of the salt mine, Zapaquira town and the cathedral itself dedicated to Jesus and Mary.

Jhovanny (our tour guide) and Eduardo (our driver) were amazing during the whole visit! They were very mindfull of possible language barrior and made a true effort to understand us and answer to all of our questions! The Zipaquira visit with them was an amazing experience and me and my family recomend 100%!

It was pricey to not included the entrance fee. The driver Alex was a good safe driver nice having our own van. Our tour guide David was great and very informative of the Salt Cathedral! It was nice to have the small group

Truly an incredible experience! So easy being picked up and dropped off right from our hotel. Starting with a great Colombian lunch with live music. The tour itself was easy for my elderly relatives. Our guide, Mauricio, was incredible knowledgeable and friendly. A long day but was worth every penny!

The salt cathedral is nice, a truly unique work of underground architecture. I can’t give five stars for two main reasons: If you, as a tour company, provide a guide that speaks English you must be 100% sure that their level of speaking and understanding is up to standards and this was not our case. Even if our guide was very kind and polite and tried to do his best his English skills were let’s say not that great. The other aspect is transportation: nobody wants a Ferrari of course but when you book a private tour you should at least get a decent car not a run down one. Those are my pointers for the future.

We did a private excursion to Zipaquira and it was very enjoyable. Brandon arrived early and was punctual throughout the whole trip. Even though he didn’t speak English, he helped us navigate getting the tickets, the audio guide, directions etc. He also brought us to a couple viewpoints in the city before heading out - Brandon was fantastic!

This was a great trip! Our guide, Brandon, explained every step of the process and was very thorough even though we had a language barrier He was incredible! Salt Cathedral was very cool and then we had a nice lunch afterwards. All in all I would highly recommend this trip!
