Great food and walking tour with Nicolas! He brought us to delicious spots we would not have found ourselves, and he was able to tell us a lot about the city along the way. I’m vegetarians and had good options at each place to eat!
Nicolas was fantastic! Great pace and explained everything very well. Thank you!
Loved all the food and information
Perfect introduction to local cuisine with plenty of options and! surprises. We left the tour will a full belly and a wealth of new knowledge. Our guide Leo took us on a culinary roller coaster that tickled all 5 senses. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely tour with Leo! nice to get to know good food spots and clear explanations
Leo was lovely and very chatty. We visited two food stores and three drinks spots :)
Jeff our guide took us to the best places and we had so many classic Bogotá dishes that all tasted amazing!
A brilliant afternoon experiencing Colombian culture through their food. Our guide Natalie was so friendly and knowledgeable, she was brilliant! All the traditional Colombian dishes were covered as well as some surprises…Don’t hesitate to book this tour with the Beyond Colombia company
We had Leo as our tour guide, he was super informative and knowledgeable about the local cuisine and gave us a load of interesting facts about various meals/meats and drinks. We loved the emphasis on the regions of Colombia and the varying food which originates from said regions based on what’s available. Our favourites were probably the warm fruit street drink - aromatica. Also, the soursap juice and the coffee experience at the end. How can I forget the empanadas as well, which are even better with the hot sauce as Leo suggested. Overall it was a 10/10 tour, we felt we got to experience a wide variety of Colombian cuisine which we otherwise might not have, at the same time as having a really informative and well spoken guide who could let us know the history and sometimes the politics surrounding these meals and drinks. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Colombian cuisine as well as trying. One more note, Capybara - surprisingly good meat, don’t be scared to try.
I did the local street food tour with Rafa and it was amazing! The food spots were great and really good, affordable and the sizes also reasonable to the point that I was able to eat everything without crazily overfilling myself. I would still recommend everyone not to eat beforehand! And you get a sticker at the end!
Leo was a great guide! Highly recommended! We had lots of food tasting without rushing. Thank you
Jeff showed us amazing places to try out Colombian food. Apart of that you explained about the food. We loved it
Patricia was a really good tour guide; I enjoyed this experience very much

Santiago was an excellent guide, covering a full (in range and belly) sampling of Colombian and Bogotá food and drinks. Highly recommended!
It was very interesting, inspiring, tasty, funny, filling. Txs to Leo, for being such a good guide taking care of my special needs, e.g. plant based options.
This food tour is great! It included so many delicious foods and beverages: aromatic tea, empanadas, obleas, hot chocolate with cheese, capybara, beef, ajioco, pan de bono, coffee, and more. This was an excellent tour! The food tastes great, and the guide, Leo, did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this tour!
The best thing was our tour guide named Lucho. He was so informed, fun, patient and warm hearted. His English was perfect and all tourists could easily understand. The history of Bogota was very interesting, I got more out of it than I expected. Highly recommend the tour and be sure to ask for Lucho.
This free walking tour was a great way to experience some delicious traditional local street food as well as a few different delicacies!! Santiago was a fantastic guide providing some insight into the history of the food and also some great knowledge of the coffee!! Couldn’t recommend it enough!
A great tour with a great variety of food. Raph was a great host with some genuinely interesting information about each food stop
Had an amazing time with Santiago who was a great guide! Would recommend doing this tour to learn about local food in Bogotá!
Increíble experience! Santi had us hooked from the first moment. 3 hours passed by faster then we could say veci or chicha. We learned so much during this time and I doubt, that this would have been possible in a different way. Thank you for the warm, knowledgeabl and comforting tour. For Laura it has been the first free walking tour ever and she will search for one in every city we go. Big thanks and hasta la proxima Max and Laura
Angelica was great, she explained everything so good. I learned so much during the tour. She was really funny and knew a lot of things.
Nothing like advertised by Tripadvisor in terms of locations, food and information given by guide. There was no historic info about Bogota and we didn’t visit the places as detailed in the Tripadvisor description. Not the tour guides fault they did there normal food tour but it is false advertising by Tripadvisor or Viator! And there is nowhere obvious to raise a complaint
Angelica did a very good tour with lots of interesting information about the historical center of Bogota. Happy to have taken this tour
Great tour led my Hector! Good pace, interesting information and good variance between the different foods we got to try. Will definitely be checking out the other tours by Beyond Colombia!
Santi was great at describing the food and we tried lots of street food which we would have probably missed if we weren’t in the food tour

The tour was great. All the food stops were excellent. Santi was a great guide. The group was large but he was attentive to everyone.
In me and my friend’s tour, Rafa is our tourist. He is very responsible and friendly! He also did exceptionally well explaining each individual kind of food, and give clear prices in the end. Very delightful man to talk to.
Great tour - we tried lots of different traditional food and drinks. Que rico! A great way to find some hidden local gems and explore more of Bogota.
