The bike tour was fantastic despite the rain. The guide very kind and helpful, we had plenty of breaks and stops when going over steep roads. We stopped for food and snack and the bathroom. Make sure to have plenty of small denominations under 20,000 pesos because there are no credit cards used in the very small food stalls.

Itinerary
The tour will start when our driver picks you up at your hotel. Then he will drive you to El Chorro de Quevedo. Your guide and the technical assistant will hand you the bikes with their helmets.
Once everything is set, the adventure will start. The guide will first take you to the three founding plazas in La Candelaria to understand how the city has changed over time. From its indigenous beginnings to Spanish colonialism, independence, and modern times. Then, you will cycle along the seventh avenue, originally a salt road in indigenous times that now gathers Colombians of all walks.
Next, you will stop by the National Park, half forest-reservoir, half-cultural hub. A typical weekend gathering spot for Bogotá’s denizens, where we will discuss broader changes in Colombia as a whole.
Afterwards you will take the bike roads to the Parkway Boulevard, part of La Soledad’s neighborhood, a natural path full of trees, before crossing El Dorado Avenue, the road that takes you to the airport.
Before going back to La Candelaria, you will have the chance to cycle through hidden neighborhoods where graffiti has become a way of facing social issues.
The driver will take you back to your hotel and we’ll call it a day.

We had a wonderful time with Jose. He was smart, fun, and knowledgeable. He took us to many places and explained the history and culture of the city. He was always checking to make sure my wife was able to keep up. Most of the tour was on bike lanes and quiet side streets which was nice. We definitely recommend this trip for anyone wanting an outdoor experience in Bogota.
Bit scary at times because "bike paths" were often crowded with pedestrians meandering, but my guide did an excellent job making me feel safe.
My guide Bernardo was fantastic, he explained a lot of history in each place we stopped on the tour, loved it
Jose was wonderful. He possessed excellent Knowledge of the area and its history. Very accommodating and knowledgeable.
Brilliant day out. If you get the chance this is a great way to see some of the sights of the Candelaria area. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful and even spoke some slow Spanish to help me learn.
This ended up being a 1-1 bike tour. Luiz, my guide was very insightful about the city, its neighborhoods, various attractions and life in Bogota. Tour was more like spending a day with a local rather than just seeing a few attractions. Loved it. Highly recommend Luiz and the tour group.
It was easy to book. Contact was easy via whatsapp. A lot of information, time to ask questions, nice tasting of fruit. Guide was very kind
I had the bike tour on a Sunday and every Sunday Bogota has the Ciclovia, where some of the main roads are closing and you can bike there! I think it’s the best way to explore the city and the tour guide was amazing! Totally recommended!
Our guide Luis was amazing! We learned so much and had such a good time seeing the city! It was a perfect day riding the ciclovia. Biking is a perfect way to see all the city sights. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Such a fun tour! Bernardo was an excellent guide and very knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Bogota and learning more about the history of Colombia. Definitely would recommend to people hoping to see all parts of the city but with limited time as biking at a leisurely pace is much faster than exploring on foot. Great tour for all age groups and fitness levels
Francisco was an amazing guide! This tour was informative and fun. A great way to see the city and cover a lot of ground. Would highly recommend!
The biking tour with Francisco was the most interesting activity I did in Bogota. We wen around the historical center and also to some districts that I wouldn’t have explored on my own. Francisco is a very passionate and informed guide. The tour was fun but I got to learn lots of interesting facts about history and life in Bogota. The pit stop at the park when we tried the different fruit juices was super nice. All in all a tour not to be missed!
My girlfriend and I had so much fun during the bike tour with Luis. He showed us around and gave us a lot of history and modern insight. The 3 hours flew by! And the bike were very good as well. Thanks Luis, I highly recommend !
A great plan for tourists and friends to visit downtown Bogotá and meet some of its architectural icons.
I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable bike tour of Bogota. David made the experience special by sharing his personal perspectives on the country, as well as taking me to cool places in the city. I enjoyed the variety and liveliness of the city, and seeing it by bike was perfect. I so appreciated how David made me feel right at home and adjusted the plan to suit my needs. He is a gem and Bogota is fun!
We did the biking tour with Daniel and it was really amazing. He told us a lot about the different parts of the city. And by going by bike, you don’t only see the city centre, but also places where you probably wouldn’t walk to. So definitely worth it!
Had the best cycling tour under the guidance of Luis. He took us to the standard attractions of Bogota and gave us a lot of detailed information on the history of Bogota and Colombia as a whole. He even took us to Santa Fe. Definitely a must do!
Luis and his friend were lovely tour guides. We enjoyed the bike tour. Keep up the good work! Jason and Iris
The bike tour was nice as you see different areas of Bogota. Our guide was cool, a very happy person who made an effort to explain every information understandable to us. There was even e technical support with as ín case of problems with the bikes. There where not soo much information or insights on Columbia/Bogota as in other tours, also of course since you spend a lot of the time on your bikes. Still i would recommend this bike tour :)
It was a great opportunity to experience Bogota by bike to see a bit more than just La Calendaria, I really enjoyed the tour with our guide and liked the interaction during the stops, we had the chance not just to listen but also to think about answers to some questions of our guide Luis, while trying different fruit juices and in the end delicious colombian coffee!
So much fun in the tour. I am not good at biking, but one of the guides was very considerate and wait for me. The weather was good and we were able to see a lot of good views of Bogota
Luciani was amazing...very knowledgeable and friendly. There was a mini food tour inside the bike tour as we learned about the wide variety of fruits in Colombia. We also visited a restaurant and smoothie bar...amazing. Seriously one of the highlights of our time in Bogota.
We had a great experience with Luis. He made us feel very welcome. Besides the tour information, Luis gave us some interesting tips and he was very honest about the safety in Bogotá. I would definitely recommend this tour.
It was probably one of the better of free tours I have done. The ride was a lot of fun, easy (watchout for the pedestrians at busy areas though!) and the halfway stop to taste a local dish and local fresh juices made it even more better. Luciani was our guide and I wish everyone gets him as he is such a fun guy and very informative + helpful with local tips. I highly recommend this tour.
I did this bike tour and was thoroughly impressed. Our guide Gio was fantastic with lots of brilliant information and always willing to answer the group’s questions both on the tour and on questions about Colombia/Latin America in general. The tour took us all over the city, and so I ventured much further than I would have had I not done this. All in all a fantastic experience
We had a Great biketour with Luis. He told a lot about the places and it was fun to Discover the City with a bike. Thanks a lot.
I took the shared free bike tour through the city of lacandelaria, and it was such a perfect way to get a taste of the city and the different surrounding neighborhoods. I had Luis as my guide; he spoke english very well and gave detailed descriptions of each place we stopped at as well as asked us questions which really engaged the group in the tour. Highly recommended for a short trip, and its a fairly easy bike ride!
We had a really great time with Luis. He was a passionate about the city, had a lot of knowledge about a range of subjects, and is one of the most attentive tour guides I've ever had on a free tour. It was a charming ride, not too taxing, with plenty of breaks and current and historical information. Also, thanks for introducing us to the mercado!
We had a great time going around the city by bike. Seeing the different neighbourhoods and history told was very interesting. Our stoo at the fresh smoothy cart was fun too. And Luis, our guide was very friendly and knows his stuff. I would higly recommend this tour.
Amazing bike tour to see a bigger part of bogota. Our guide Luciani knew a lot about the city which made it a very nice and interesting tour!
We did this tour with Luis and we have no regrets. We went to different neighborhoods to get a glimpse of how diverse this huge city is.
The bike tour of downtown Bogotá was awesome fun and a great way to see the city. Luciani was a top guide. Highly recommended.
Went on this trip with Luciani and Jose. It was probably the most fun thing I did in Bogota as you cover quite a bit of ground outside La Candelaria and learn a bit more about the neighbourhoods around the centre! Highly recommended, even the starting point was a sight to behold, so arrive early!
Did the tour with Luis was a great tour. Covered a lot of ground and we were well looked after. Very informative also, highly recommend
Luis provided a great informative tour. We were able to see and learn about many areas of Bogota. We were also able to try some traditional Colombian snacks and drinks. It was also a nice ride (if biking is your thing. I would do it again and definitely recommend it!
Great biking tour of Bogota! Luis was an exceptional guide who was very nice and knowledgeable about the city. The ride itself was not difficult even for two people who are not accustomed to the high altitude. We had a lovely time touring neighborhoods we otherwise would not have seen. Would highly recommend this tour if it is your first time visiting Bogota!
Luis, Thanks for showing us (3belgians & 2 dutchies) a great part of Bogota by bike. He was very up to date and gave us interesting fact of Bogota and Colombia. He created a nice vibe and took is to difrent parts of the city. Thanks a lot and keep on guiding and cycling. Kristof
This bike tour was a great way to explore the city in a short period of time - and doing good exercise at the same time as well. Our guide Luis was very personable and took us to some of the greatest spots of the city. In only one morning we were able to cover most of La Candelaria, La Merced, La Macarena, Centro Internacional, Santa Fe, and a few other neighborhoods of the Colombian capital. Muy recomendable!
The tour was great. We have done a very interesting ride around the center of Bogotà and the guide gave us many information on the city and its history. Moreover it was really fun!
I didn’t know what to expect from this tour as organized tours aren’t really my jam. But this ended up being my favorite part of our trip! Luis was an amazing guide who showed us parts of the city and told us their history and also shared his perspective on it, which was awesome!! For a free tour it was seriously incredible and I loved the whole experience. I’d definitely recommend this tour and can’t wait to try another one!!
We can only recommend the tour with Lucien and Francisco (Pacco). It really gave us a great understanding of the city and they gave us great insight into the different neighborhoods and cultural aspects (the food and drink tasting was great too) and it had a great finish including us planting a new tree at the bar around the corner of the bike storage. Thank you guys!
Our guide Luciani took us on a trip through Central and a bit of northern Bogota. We really enjoyed this as there is much more to see than just the central district. On our way we stopped for some food and beers and ended the tour at a coffee place. Our guides made the tour a lot of fun, and I would definitely recommend!
Great guide Luciani, huge knowledge of the cities history and present. Nice opportunity to get a first impression of the capital. One of the rare possibilites of comfortable and authentic sightseeing.
I had a great experience with Alejo on our free bike tour. I got to learn about different places around Bogotá that I wouldn't have known going around solo. We also had a refreshing fruit smoothie at the park. Be prepared for changing weather on the tour. A bike is a great way to see more of the city and I highly recommend it.
We took the bike tour and had a blast! You really get to see a lot of the city by bike. Luis was a great guide and shared a lot of information. Imperdible!
For me one of the must-dos in Bogotá. the best tour to see the city in a nutshell. You try different food/drinks and get local information from young motivated local people. I had a lot of fun with Luis, the tour guide and I definitely recommend the tour.
It was a very good experience in bike with friends and luis who is very a nice guy and informative about the past of Columbia. More over the juices and the food were very appreciable. It was a very good moment id recommend it at 100%! :)
It had been a great time. Lots of information on history of that place. Great salsa lesson. So different trip that one in city centre. If you are going to get esmeraldas hold on, until you get to this trip first !!! Great trip with great person!
