A very interesting tour around Bogotá. We visited several notable sights, such as Monserrate, Plaza Bolívar, the Historic Center. Guide Marcelo and driver Carlos were excellent—10 out of 10!
Great Bogotá city tour covering Monserrate, La Candelaria, Plaza de Mercado, Museo Botero, Museo del Oro, Plaza de Bolívar and everything in between! Our guide Mr. Juan Carlos was very informative and very nice. The views from Monserrate were incredible, and walking through La Candelaria was a great way to experience the city’s history and culture. Plaza de Bolívar was impressive and very informative. Well organized and highly recommended for anyone visiting Bogotá.
Marcelo was a wonderful, energetic guide with a clear passion for the city and its community. Beside making sure to hit all the highlights he also constantly pointed out hidden treasures like works by famous graffiti artists, sculptures on rooftops and the best food spots. Highly recommended for anyone’s first (or second or third) trip to Bogota interested in gaining fascinating insights into the city.
Just a really great way to see the city — I’m so glad I did this. Juan was ace both from a knowledge and history perspective as well as more general insights re the country’s politics etc. Loved learning about the city alongside more interactive elements such as coffee tasting. Highly recommend!
Juan Carlos was a friendly and well informed guide. We toured all around the city and got to visit very fun places, such as the indoor market and the coffee stop. I loved it all! My only suggestion would be if doing the seven-hour tour, pack snacks or purchase a small bite to eat at the coffee stop. It’s a full day of walking!
Juan Carlos was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot today about Columbia, about Bogota, history, and culture. I really enjoyed the variety of nature, food, art, and architecture. Thank you for a great tour!
Excellent tour! We had a very knowledgeable guide in Juan Carlos, he shared a lot of history about Bogotá but not too much allowing us to enjoy the views & scenery!
This day tour was fantastic! Juan Carlos was a brilliant and well researched guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and was incredibly aware for our safety at all times. The tour takes you to gorgeous and fascinating places. I strongly recommend this as a great tour to introduce someone to Bogotá!
Juan Carlos was a terrific guide. His English is excellent and he has in-depth knowledge of Bogota. It was our first day in Bogota so the altitude was a factor. We are seniors and he paced us perfectly, waiting patiently as we caught our breaths. I would highly recommend this tour and Juan Carlos.
Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Tour requires walking but this covers more ground for in depth understanding of the city.
Amazin experience, I really enjoy it Our tour my tour guy was really respectful and well explained. For sure I will recommend it.
Beautiful family experience, very nice sight seeing of Bogotá and museums including excellent explanations from Juan Carlos, the tour guide. Definitely recommended
Juan Carlos was a great guide. Doing tours solo can sometimes be challenging but he made it very personal and was very attentive! Took photos for me, made sure my experience was one of a kind. I saw a few souvenirs and even though it wasn’t part of the tour we stopped and he helped translate. I had a great day touring Bogota with Columbia Tours and Trips with the help of Juan Carlos. This tour really brings you to see all of the big sites! Thank you Juan Carlos!
Our experience was incredible, Juan Carlos was the best, his knowledge about the city, the region and the country is remarkable. If you are considering go to Bogota, call or book with these guys, they will also take you to some hidden gems that you normally don't find.
Juan Carlos was amazing! We had a fantastic day with him learning about the history and culture of bogota. He truly knows what he is doing and is very knowledgeable. We learned so much from him and had a great day with him!
Juan Carlos is the best! Excellent tour with all the highlights of Bogotá, a lot of explanations about the history of Colombia. We love it and recommend instead of trying to do it by your own…
This is a great tour to see all the highlights of Bogota while also learning a lot of history and culture of Columbia. Our tour guide, Juan Carlos l, was great! He was very nice, answered all of our questions, and gave us additional tips on other places we should visit before we leave and good ways to get around the city. This was one of our favorite things we did on our trip!
This is one of the best city tour I’ve been on by far. Our tour guide Juan was very knowledgeable about the city. He went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had a great tour.
We did the private 3-hour Candelaria tour. Our guide’s name was Juan Carlos. We were picked up exactly on time by Juan Carlos and the chauffeur. In Candelaria we got a very good tour with a lot of information about the history, politics and we saw all of the important buildings. He brought us to an indoor local market, where we tried a lot of Colombian fruit and were allowed to pick a juice to try. We also tried Colombian coffee. All in all, it was a very informative tour and we got a good image of Candelaria. We really recommend touring with Juan Carlos.
The tour they offer was a wonderful experience. I loved getting lost in the cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, with its colonial houses and Bohemian Mood. Going up to Monserrate and seeing the city from there was breathtaking, the view is something I will never forget! I also learned a lot with my guide Don Juan Carlos, he told me about the history of Colombia at the Museo del Oro and I enjoyed the works of art at the Museo Botero. In short, an unforgettable experience!"
We did the 7 hour tour with Juan Giraldo (Juan Carlos 12/13/23). Our experience with the tour guide was exceptional: he was very communicative, very knowledgeable about various aspects of Colombian history and culture, and explained everything with passion. and patience. The tour experience was like a day hanging out with a friend, an overall very friendly person. Everything went well, pick up and drop off at our hotel were very easy. If you travel to Colombia, I would recommend this tour. in English/Spanish, especially with Juan Giraldo as a tour guide, we felt very comfortable, safe and cared for. Thank you Juan!
The tour was very nice, Mr. Juan Carlos and the driver Mr. Alexander were very friendly, the information was very interesting, the tour was very complete, the places were very beautiful, thank you very much for everything!
We hired the tour for 2 people and the attention of our guide was excellent, he shared many interesting facts with us that made us enjoy Colombia even more.
The tour was excellent, everything that was promised was delivered, the guide Juan Carlos Giraldo was very knowledgeable and was very kind. I had an excellent experience in the Colombian capital. Manuel Hermínio Oliveira
