We had a great time with our guide Miguel! He went out of his way to show us so many beautiful sights in Bogota. We learned so much in just an afternoon!

You will begin by riding through the city center, and roam through the vivid and enchanting neighborhood of La Candelaria. Being the oldest neighborhood in the capital, you will be able to see the contrast between the colorful colonial houses and the vibrant urban street art. You will have the chance of seeing this closer at Chorro de Quevedo, where you will make a shortstop to have a better comprehension of Colombia’s history.
passing through four diverse neighborhoods: Centro, Teusaquillo, Santa Fe, and La Macarena. Enjoy a stop at a local coffee factory and admire some of the largest murals in Bogotá.
Throughout the tour, you will immerse yourself in the world of urban art, discovering impressive murals and creative expressions that reflect the cultural diversity, history, and social struggles of Colombia.
You will continue the tour by going to Teusaquillo, a neighborhood that was considered one of the most modern and elegant neighborhood(s) in the 1930’s. You’ll observe its uncommon architecture that includes English Victorian, art deco and modernist houses. The listing said this was a street art tour but we barely saw 5 pieces. It also said this would be 6 hours but it was barely 3. Miguel was a nice guide and he did his best, but this just wasn't what was advertised. Additionally at the point where we start, the sign says 52.000 pesos, which is about 14 dollars. Paying 40 for this on viator is a total rip off.
I booked this tour only one day before. I’ve done cycle tours in several cities and I really enjoy them. This place was really difficult to find. The Uber dropped me off close by and I paced up and down trying to find it. After twenty minutes of still not finding it, I sent a message to the tour operator. Then I tried again. I went into the building only to be told this wasn’t the place. The staff don’t speak very good English which is ironic when this trip is catered for tourists. So I left there and went on another walk to find the location. Google maps were not wrong, the building I entered surely was the place, the staff were just clueless. I asked to speak to the manager and he then said he’d phone his friend 😆😆😆. The friend turned out to be an employee of the company Miguel. The sign was hung on a hook outside the building but had not been there when I was trying to find the location. Either that or the wind had rotated it thus hiding the vital information? So while I waited for him, because I was early incase of hiccups, I sat in the restaurant. The manager asked if I wanted to order anything? Sure I said, do you have a menu I could understand? No was the reply, photo’s, recommendations? Still no, so I ordered coffee as you could point to that lol. Miguel turned up shortly after and immediately I felt at ease. What a really nice guy. Informative, friendly and very empathetic. We chose our bikes and set off on the tour. It was just the two of us. He knows every inch of the city and is very experienced. He’s a credit to the company. He even told me how coffee is produced and manufactured. He is a proud patriotic Colombian and this is exactly what you need on a tour like this. A full five hours we spent seeing the highlights of the city. We started out as strangers and by the end of the tour we were friends. Highly recommended and five stars. 🌟💯💯💯🙏🏽🇨🇴🚲
The guide was good , the coffee amazing the bike sucked !!! It was hard to pedal and keep up despite my efforts stopping for one of the street mechanics . If you are going to run a place that makes the money out of bikes I would assume the bikes would be In a good shape ! I was frustrated and very mad about it. And also when I got to the address “they had close called the cel phone in a restaurant nearby and no answer . Would not recommend unless they get better bikes
This was very good and nice tour. Very safe. The guide guy was awesome speaking very good English. Definitely recommend. Thanks
I swear I had the best time on this tour. It’s was really nice experiencing Bogota from two wheels. Our coordinator made sure no one was left behind. There was always a 2nd person bringing up the rear to assure no one would lose their way. I suggest bringing an empty backpack. You will definitely want to load up on all the different varieties of fruit. The prices are mind blowing. Thank you Bogota Bike Tour for showing us an amazing tour of your city. Please remember what goes down, must go up. The ride down was a breeze. The ride up became a great workout especially with the Altitude....... ENJOY THE RIDE!!
This bike tour was the best way to understand the complexities of Colombia in a very experiencial and fun way. My guide andres was super knowledgeable and accomodating. He speaks great english and transmitted with a lot of passion his deep knowledge about Colombia. It was great to hear so many anechdotes and small details that are everywhere but are unpercieved until a guide like him makes them visible. I really recommend this trip for anyone visiting Bogota, specially if it is your first time and if you will travel the rest of Colombia. (take this ideally at the start of your trip)
We were fortunate to do this tour on a Sunday when many streets are closed to traffic. The tour was well planned, bikes were very good quality, so were helmets. Great itinerary, some good eats and drinks along the way, and we stopped to play a classic Colombian game. It was for sure a highlight of our trip to Bogota.
The bike tour was so much fun!! My husband & I booked a private tour and when the guide who was to take us was sick on the day of our tour, the owner of the company took her place. We rode all over Bogota, looking at the amazing street art, the architecture of the city, learning about Bogota's culture & history. We rode our bikes through diverse neighborhoods that we never would have known about. What a buzzing and vibrant city! It was an awesome experience!
I loved the Bogota bike tour - a great way to cover more ground than on foot and pass through and visit many interesting places that a tourist might not immediately go to. Our guide told us about current societal and political matters, as well as historical, so you learnt a lot about the country and people. We stopped a a market to try endless delicious fruits, and stopped for coffee and chocolate. A great tour, highly recommended.
The bike tour is worth the money. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and provided a lot of historical information about Bogota. The stops were great. The Farmers Market where we tried a few different fruits, the coffee roasting shop where we sampled the coffee, and the last stop where we played the national game of Tejo. Enjoyed the company too. There were a total of five of us so it was very intimate. Note: Annik, if you read this review please email me at delgado.rick@gmail.com :-)
One of the best things about Bogota is its rich history, diverse neighborhoods and friendly people - the bike tour provided us with the opportunity to see much of the city, including leisurely stops at Plaza Bolivar, local coffee plant, "Tejo" (Columbia's official national game) Bar and local market. Our guide embraced the role of teacher and was responsive to the particular interests of each rider in the group, while making sure everyone appreciated the unique art, music and food that characterizes the capital city!

I applied to this tour with a transportation service. The guide, owner of the bike shop, and driver were all friendly and kind. The condition of the bike was pretty good. With some exceptions, most parts of the route were flat so I could also enjoy the ride. There seem heavy traffic jams in Bogota in business days, so if your are a busy visitor, this tour would be both time- and cost-efficient.

I would not recommend this tour even to my worst enemy. The tour took us through one of the most dangerous areas of Bogota. Calle 26 y Caracas where our guide made us take shelter from the rain in the street. While we were waiting for the rain to stop we were robed at gun point of our cellulars and bicycles. The response to the incident was completely disorganised . The tour guide did not contact the police and continued to expose the group to danger making us take a taxi in the middle of the most dangerous area. The owners have not contact me to offer any kind of help and people in my hotel are all very worried about this incident being a setup.
Under no circumstances take this tour with this agency. I am glad a survived this awful incident I praise God and wish this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Blessings

Gladysd

The bike tour was wonderful. My mistake was booking online. Next time I will book in person or directly through the tour people. I paid 85 when others paid 14 because they booked the tour in person. The tour gave me the opportunity to see all sorts of things around the downtown area of the city. I then took that information and expanded my tour the next day alone.

Fantastic tour... get to see a side to Bogota which few probably do. The graffiti murals were awesome and Alejandro was a fantastic guide. Small tour group made it far more personal and personable. Definitely worth the time and the money.

Fernandao was our guide and he was great! Told us so many things about the city we never would have heard on any other tour. The weather was cold and rainy and we still went, so be ready for that. He took us to a little coffee company and showed us up front how the coffee was roasted. We even got to sample some. Great way to see the city! The company itself was really nice too. We had some issues with my son and they went and refunded our money for my son and husband who did not go biking. (They eventually went on the walking tour with this company and said it was fabulous.)

This tour was fantastic!!! Thanks to Fernando, our guide, we discovered a completely new Bogota! We had such a wonderful day and really learned a lot about the city! I even left a recommendation at our hotel for other visitors. The tour is 6 hours long, BUT there are lots of breaks and the majority is pretty flat. The bikes were in great condition! When one of the bikes got a flat tire, a secondary guide rode it back to the shop to get another one. Please take this tour . . . it will help you appreciate Bogota and the determination of its people.

Wonderful tour with 'Bogatours'. Our guide was Edgar, who was terribly knowledgeable and we learnt a huge amount about the history and life of Bogotá. We were shown emerald traders, exotic fruit, the old bull ring and many other 'sights'. So much better than any guide book!

Really great tour. Nick speaks excellent English and the tour itself was great. Despite the partly crazy traffic in Bogota, we were never afraid or worried thanks to the well-developed bicycle network. Visiting a coffee roastery and visiting a market were included and very interesting. Highly recommended.
