Just amazing rooms right In the Center of tow. Walkable to everything. it’s recently updated and it’s a great price. They even have an airport shuttle that runs every 2 hours and is free. The pool and spa and workout room were pristine and the staff was so kind. Breakfast is also pretty great for the price.
A timeless classic with amenities that make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and provide everything needed for a pleasant visit. The hotel itself offers a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of history. The only drawback wasn’t about the hotel, but rather the city itself—Bogotá can be quite noisy, which may affect the overall experience.
Beware, none of the rooms have air conditioning and I bought this room based on that. This hotel showed up when I searched only for rooms with AC included. It wouldn’t be an issue if not for the fact that the room is boiling hot while it’s only 49F/10C outside and I’m sweating in the bed while writing this review at 5am. The listing also had a refrigerator and coffee machine listed and neither were in the room when we arrived. It’s too bad because there’s lots of good about this place but I had one condition when searching for a place to stay and they either maliciously lied about it in the listing or didn’t bother to update it when the room changed.
I have to admit I was disappointed with the hotel. It’s not a 5-star hotel at all, and I don’t even know how it manages to maintain that rating. The facilities are very old and completely outdated; the rooms are uncomfortable and smell musty. The bathroom is very old, and it took me a long time to figure out how the shower system worked. The hair dryer started smoking when I turned it on. I have to highlight the hotel’s breakfast as a positive, and the staff working there are extremely friendly. As for the front desk staff, I found them to be rather unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until it undergoes major renovations, which it really needs. A hotel with potential.
Overall, the experience was good. However, the room felt very outdated—most of the furniture and décor looked like it was from the 1980s. Due to construction on our floor, there was noticeable dust, and not only the room but also the hallways appeared old and in need of renovation. That said, the service was excellent. The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was fantastic, and the location is truly excellent. The price was fair for what was offered, free parking is a plus, and although Wi-Fi was available, it was intermittent and unreliable in the room.
