We came for a brunch, they have fantastic vegetables selection, do it yourself , typical Colombian dishes and amazing desserts. Good value for money. Service is so good we might came back only for it! Carolina, our waiter was wonderful - super kind with our baby (she has a natural talent for babies), very helpful and we enjoyed very much - she went beyond the usual service and behaved like we are friends. Our baby Jan liked her a lot!
My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for almost a week, and our experience was wonderful. The property was very clean, the staff was incredibly attentive, and everyone was kind and welcoming throughout our stay. From the housekeeping team to the front desk staff, everyone showed professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Amazing service and location. They give you nightly tea and do turn down service. I’ve been to bogota many times and this was my first. They checked us in early and staff has always been so helpful and on top of everything! Best breakfast ever too!
First time in Columbia and we had a Wonderful stay! Highly recommend! Breakfast was excellent and the bartenders are very good. The room was clean and fresh. The gym was nice and has water, fruit etc etc. They provide tea to help with the altitude. The location is perfect for shopping and restaurants. Ximenez and Camilo at the front y desk were exceptional, their service accurately represents the Sofitel brand. We will be back!!!
Overall, I had a good stay, but I was disappointed by the hotel’s handling of lost items. I accidentally left a brand-new Alo sweatshirt in my room when I checked out. The hotel had all of my contact information, yet nobody reached out to let me know it had been found. Several days later, after returning from Medellín, I remembered it and contacted the hotel myself. Fortunately, they still had it and returned it to me without any issues. However, for a luxury hotel, I would expect a more proactive approach when valuable belongings are found.
