Residence Inn By Marriott Bogota

The rooms have no opanable windows , the whole building have no place for smokers you need to smoke outside on the street. Since you can't open the window it's smells always kinda humid , even through the cleaning stuff made good job Staff is friendly and helpful, but still it's not particularly family friendly it's more business man orientated Came back to modify my review,it was a perfectly fine place

We spent two nights here on our first trip to Colombia for a wedding. We are English speakers from the US with very little Spanish knowledge. The Residence Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel was very nice and it was in a great part of town. There were many good restaurants and shops nearby that you could walk to. The area was very safe. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they always had one person at reception that could speak English. We did enjoy practicing our Spanish though. The breakfast food was amazing with local foods. I really appreciated this because I don't want Americanized food when I'm not in America - I want to try the local food. It was all delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

This hotel was truly lovely. The staff was kind, warm, welcoming, and incredibly empathetic throughout my stay. I had just had surgery before arriving, and unfortunately I got a small amount of blood on the sheets. The staff handled it with kindness, professionalism, and genuine empathy, which meant a great deal to me during a vulnerable time. I genuinely had a wonderful stay here and regret leaving to stay at another hotel afterward, where the experience was the complete opposite. This stay really stood out because of how thoughtfully and graciously everything was handled. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Also worth mentioning: the flowers throughout the hotel were beautiful and such a thoughtful touch, they added so much to the overall atmosphere.

Every interaction felt warm and intentional, and it is clear that the leadership has built a strong culture of service excellence. A special thank you to Harold, Yurani, Paola, Luigui, and the Breakfast team for their kindness and professionalism. The Food and Beverage leadership was also outstanding, very present, engaged, and elevating the entire experience. Kudos as well to the Housekeeping and Front Office teams for their consistency and care throughout our stay. The amenities were a great plus, especially the gym and the “salón de despecho,” which was both unique and very convenient. It’s no surprise this team delivers such a high level of guest satisfaction. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit to Bogotá.
